you are right there, i guess that you can say that i blame sf4 and bb not because they are simple, but because they are spoiling the new players with bad habits and misconceptions not really a fault of the games more than the players, but still

i dont see as elitism, but as a real concern, on how people believe that because they play the game (in a poor way) they already have the right to tell to the world what is bad about the game when they clearly dont understand what is happening, the problem is that the new players have a serious lack of knowledge of fighting games, since they have only played like what?, 2 or 3 and for how long maybe 1 to 2 years elitism would be bashing them for being new players, im bashing them not because they are new, but because they whine and cry about things that dont understand, or things that arent relevant at the moment, and because of that they are ruining to some extent part of what made the fighting game community something cool
