Can any give me some advice on how to pull off a 5C string valiant charger combo? I keep getting 6C and it screws everything up.

Chrono Phantasma Story Discussion [fun tentatively allowed again]
Desert Fox replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
I originally submitted this to AOTA, but only after I submitted the question and read more of the blog was that I realised that he's taking a break so I decided to ask here. Somewhat copy-pasting the question, but again, silly question: Was the real Celica aware that the Ragna she was taking of was the same one she was waiting for, Bloodedge? She once told Ragna when he was young along the lines of "you're one who keeps his promises", hinting that she was lightly mocking Bloodedge. -
Any tips on how to get w.5C > w.j.5A right? My friend is ripping his hair out trying to get this and I don't play Valk so I wanted to ask the veterans about this instead.

Edited out. How did I even end up on this thread? Mods are more than welcome to delete this post.

In what ways can Ragna beat/deter Bang's command grab super?

Chrono Phantasma Speculations/Theories [rules updated 10/14]
Desert Fox replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Actually, I thought that scene was referring to Ragna as the one she was fearing for, considering that he was stabbed with all sorts of death flags and how she reacted to his death in his bad ending back in CS. Though for that to hold, I would have to think that Rachel was reminded of Ragna when she saw Naoto, and that there's such a connection between the second and the third that would make her think so that perhaps she might know (y'know, the whole Rachel/Ragna=Naoto/Raquel connection, but from a non-meta perspective). I hope CF elaborates on the concept of "Bloodedge", the entity both Raquel and Naoto have seen throughout the novel. I'm tempted to think that this is actually Bloodedge from the original timeline (assuming there was one) or something related to the evil inside Ragna. -

http://www.famitsu.com/news/201510/20091108.html I can't directly post the picture right now due to complications, but what info can we extract from the text (and story text boxes) in the picture? Rachel looks unusually empathic. -

Actually, Spinne kinda reminded me of Arakune, albeit more sane and powerful. -

Jin? A mastermind? You flatter him too much. Besides, if anything, Jin would be salty if Tsubaki stole his kill. On another note, with BE's characters, save for a few, being parallel to Blazblue's cast, I can't help but think that Naoto's contract with Raquel is a hint of a hint to Ragna and Rachel's relationship. I may be overthinking it though. -

What I'm curious to know about is the true connection between Ragna and Rachel that would make the latter a card in eradicating the evil within the former. -

Nah. She used the form just fine when she was trying to neutralise Ragna near the end of the story. She became a successor, not THE successor. When Nu was done synchronising with Noel, Relius ordered the former to eliminate the latter since she was no longer needed. In other words, they finally had a successor under their command. Actually, I call the fusion Alpha because the design and title Mori added for it mix with the concept. I don't think that's the actual official design. My thoughts, exactly. I'd have trouble taking the story seriously if he did. -

With all that foreshadowing and Nu becoming a Successor of the Azure, it appears that we're getting a perfect fusion of Nu and Ragna for the next game. For that, Jin (and the others) is gonna need a big powerup. A REALLY big powerup, along with some really good support. Since it took Hakumen with 100% of his power, Jubei and Valk in their prime, the two greatest magicians of the era and a nihilistic ghost psycho to stop a failed result of that fusion. As for support, I think the Lynchpin effect will nerf Alpha (perfect fusion) though the same applies to the rest of the world. I mean, even Kagura got hit by the effect. Though, I guess this is where the Special Ones fall in to make up for the lack of firepower. Straying from the topic, I want Mori to make a gag reel similar to the Spectacles of Eros dilemma but instead falling for Ragna, it would make those already in love with him be honest with their feelings (aka the Anti-Tsundere Unit: Rachel Counterpick). Considering that the next game might be the last, it would be amusing to see some karmic payback. -
5C and 236C are now fatals. Oh my.

Scrub question, but are the shadow characters basically like Blazblue's unlimited characters, not meant to be used for normal gameplay, or are they like Shadow Labrys?

[CP] Hazama Gameplay Discussion [New members read first post]
Desert Fox replied to Lich's topic in Archive
Hmm.. Good. My lack of mastery in wave-dashing though is mostly shown when I'm pressuring the opponent on block. Since Hazama's attacks push him from the enemy, it creates a distance in where the latter can escape and I can't use Ressenga to reset pressure because it can be punished by a dp or some other type of reversal. Also do you know some chain movement exercises? Anything useful in improving my movement because, as you can see, I'm very scrubby using it.
