Besides, have you seen how easy it is to combo into Azrael's astral? It's almost patently ridiculous.

Terumi isn't incredibly high tier, and despite how easy it is to combo into his Astral, the opponent needs to be on the ground for it to work (like Jin's. don't know if it's unblockable or not) Granted this is just my opinion but I would put him around mid because of lack of a normal overhead, his normals that are JC push him a fair bit away and sort of out of where he wants to be, and lack of meterless reversal. Damage wise though, he can easily rival Ragna in that department. If someone finds something that absolutely makes him broken though, I'd love to see it.

This has probably been addressed but it surprised me during a match so I'll say it, the counter DD will not activate off of lows unless you are in OD. That always bugged me that people were hitting me out of a counter distortion but now it makes sense.

Yeah the system seems a lot more finicky. I sometimes do super jumps while trying to combo into Az's TCL....dang I need work.

Would make logical sense, though it also seems odd that such an important figure of said story has not been fleshed out at all. If the end result is she's supposed to be saved, would we really care when that moment comes around?

Anyone know why sometimes a 6D will not properly juggle a wall bounced opponent? Sometimes that one kick comes out but it just has that one kick.

Messing around a little with the stuff on the combo thread, the computer randomly picked carl as my target. I noticed that some of the BnBs won't work on him because of his small hitbox and how far Azrael pushes him away during the combos.

Azrael has got to be the most street fighter esque character in the entire game with those links.

Not yet. But I do know his counter DD DOES indeed have start up that he can be hit out of.

Dude, I've watched Funimation shows for years now. I know what Strait sounds like, and that's definitely him. It's much more apparent on Hazama than Terumi though. Listen to some of the sounds of Hazama getting hit, that should cinch it.
