  1. I'm gonna play, psn: duvel809
  2. Add me, duvel1337
  3. Any tips on reliably getting 214D~66B as soon as possible? I can't just mash it out as fast as I want because of the hitstop of the 3C
  4. Can someone elaborate on the 3C > 214D~B xx dash 5A timings? Do I need to do the 214D~B (or 66B) asap or should I delay it some? This is what I'm having the absolute most trouble with.
  5. Yeah it looks like getting an asia account was the trick. Apparently I didn't notice when I ordered from play-asia that the region was actually asia instead of japan. The back of the box confirmed it, it says asia.playstation.com in the PSN box on the back cover. Edit: Also my code worked with the asia account so that's confirmation.
  6. I'm also having trouble getting my Yuuki Terumi code to work. I entered it exactly, case correct and everything, but I get some kind of error (that unfortunately I can't read ).
  7. put me down for guilty too, Filthy Luker from Alabama
  8. http://challonge.com/ufgt9_ggac_052613 here's the bracket for the gg side tourney. top 3 was AKA, Sym, Latif, in that order.
  9. update on guilty gear side tournament: plenty of people might have noticed by now but we're doing guilty casuals in the anime room all weekend. Sunday around 1 pm will be the tournament, should have plenty of people, I had a list with like over 32 names.
  10. I don't know if any of you have tried EX Axl for funsies, but he's really bad for some reason. For a simple example of just random why is that gone, 6K isn't jump-cancelable. He also has only one hit on his chains, and the hitstun isn't very big, so it makes it very hard to do anything with them. His new moves aren't very good, either... This obviously isn't very important, I just thought it was funny.

  12. Quick revival of this thread. GGAC re-release has created a surprisingly large (for GG) scene in Huntsville, where we have a good May player (who possibly will learn someone else in R), a good Chipp player, and a good Slayer player (and not to toot my own horn too much, but I play a decent Axl). We've also got a few people who play Baiken, Anji, Venom, Sol, Ky, and Millia to varying degrees of seriousness and success. I know there are folks in BHam as well who play, and in Auburn Raph plays a great og Baiken (and I think other folks are playing down there). Oh also we have some scrub in Birmingham named Raekwon who plays Potemkin . Also in Huntsville we've got all of 3 people who play Persona. I play Elizabeth (and apparently there's like 50 in the tri-state area for some reason), another player plays Yu, and then another one can't seem to decide ever. We all play Kanji for lulz. As for BB, it's dead in Huntsville but there used to be a scene, when CP hits there's probably gonna be people again. I know I'll at least check it out, as I joined the FGC too late to really jump on BB (and I didn't really like what I played of CS). Finally there is a tournament in Huntsville on December 15th that will feature Persona 2v2 and singles as well as GG 2v2 and singles. Facebook event page for this: http://www.facebook.com/events/380429212037789/ Any online warriors in AL who have no idea where people are? Edit: To clarify, the GG scene in Huntsville started back up more or less in June or July, way before the xBox port, so we've got a little bit more experience compared to people who came in just this past month.
