Oh hai Monolith. Also, as towards your complaints on me not saying "GG's" or some - thing of that sort, it's because my "GG's" messages tend to be some - what long and detailed (Or late, within which case they're generally even more long and detailed lol.) and, as well as microphone incompatibility, my stick also has no port for keyboards, so I just post them here instead. If you're going to be checking the thread regularly from now, that's probably where you'll find them.

Hmmmmm... Another idea. Rather than make the D moves particularly different within any way and make him drain/ increase further heat gain (Or just, regularly, gain shitloads of heat from it.), have them, upon hitting a certain number of times with it, increase meter by a full half, thus allowing him to use multiple amounts of his supers within one combo when using multiple D's within as such, seeing as he apparently has quite a lot of them. It would work like Fu rin ka zan: There could be an indicator of three or so points, that would increase via one for each landed. Once all are filled, it is emptied, and you get fifty meter. -

While it's possible for them to balance the entire heat - taking idea, one more practical intention they may have for it would be to make the moves slow, towards the point of getting them as a starter being improbable (And be void of launch/ cancels to not allow him to utilize more if they are landed as starter.) and to prevent him from using more than one per combo midscreen, aside from maybe FC's or some - thing, but make them multiply the amount of meter he gains during the entirety of the round for each one landed. Maybe increase the multiplier via 0.5 per attack? Oh, and give him the worst CA ever. Him having a quality CA with that would be nigh - broken. -

Actually, it's entirely fair within the fact that, despite that white gets to move first, this can then give black a better idea of what white is aiming for, and move accordingly. And it's not like it's a game of "who gets their pieces out of the start first wins". No matter how many pieces you get away from their initial position to begin with, it can still be turned around by the other player, quite easily within some cases. -

Yup, only one move. It's still one of the riskiest moves in the game and, unlike other "risky" moves, missing it is pretty much a guaranteed FC punish for any attentive player. And, come now, I'd rather everybody admit that Mu's mixup sucks. She has two lows, one standing overhead, and a grab. That's it. That's pretty much the worst amount of mixup you can get without going to ridiculously poor levels. Mu's strong, yes, but she's definitely not without flaws, unlike what some people almost make her out to be.

Alrighty. Essentially, Plat is what I would like to call "augmented rushdown": As within, she is primarily a rushdown Character, but has a noticeable amount of tools that generally don't apply towards rushdown playstyles. A short overview: Strengths: * Most versatile Character within the game due towards items, although, with how, exactly, her drive works, she doesn't have all of her options available at any particular time. * Significantly above average corner damage with items (Pan, for instance, can deal 4.5K with 54 meter from 5B, a lot of items can go over 5K with large meter gain from 5C.), and excellent pressure within the same location. * Third best meter gain behind Haz and Valk. * Above average mixup, with items (Particularly the glorious instant overhead that is air pan, and hammer crossups.), T.K. swallow, command throw (Even if it sucks.), and just basic lows. * Some oki potential, with bubbles, 5Bmeaty, bombs, missiles and swallow. * Long range on a lot of her normal (J.C, 5B, 2B, ect.). * Perhaps the best CA in the game. * Both of her anti airs are better than most. * Second best corner carry in the game aside from Valk. Weaknesses: * Has almost no defensive options (Burst (Obviously limited/ baitable.), CDT (Meter.) CA (Also meter.) Bat (Not always equipped, has almost no vertical range.). * Worst command throw in the game (Easy to see and, there - fore, react towards, not allowed to follow up aside from bubble setup, which makes it even more obvious, only really redeemed by it's item replenishment.) * Below average H.P. (10500). * A lot of her pressure, while, as previously afore - mentioned, is effective, can easily be disrespected, thus meaning a reliance on conditioning. * Slow pokes, at least when compared towards the others (5B and 2B, for instance, are her main pokes and come out within eleven and ten frames respectively, whereas a lot of others, such as Ragna or Relius, make theirs active at 8 or so.). * Almost as momentum based as Ragna, meaning that, often, once stripped of said advantage, it is much easier to take a round from her. * Her matchups are all noticeably dependent upon her current item. Basically, Plat's gameplan is essentially the same as most other rushdown Characters: Get in and stay in. Use your items and other tricks (T.K. swallow, 5A/ 2A staggers.) to pressure the opponent at neutral, and space them with J.C, 5B and 2B. Once you get momentum, and have them within the corner, Plat really does start to shine (Arguably best corner game other than Valk.). People fear corner Plat. She has instant overheads, tick throws, meaties, anti airs, oki tools, and generally everything required to keep your opponent restricted to the field edge until they finally eat some - thing, upon which you're probably getting at least 3K, generally averages out at 4K. On defense, the best advice, really, is to be patient. Use the bat well if you have it (Or use CA with meter, just be careful that it doesn't get baited.), and other - wise just block until there's a gap. Being on defense with Plat can be a long process, but if you just stand your ground you'll probably find your - self winning more.

And my hard drive breathes once more, it seems. I'm scared to try BB though, due towards the fact that that's what killed it the last two times. Oh and I only ever owned PS Zero. Does that make you think less of me?

I like this idea. As for any other suggestions... Have you ever thought about Makoto? A noticeable portion of what you've suggested is basically "rush down character who requires some work". Which is pretty much what Makoto is: She's obviously has a mostly up close style, and she definitely takes an amount of dedication to win with.
