I don't know about the Namco, but the T5 stick will be a hard one to mod. From what I've heard, the PCB has been soldered onto the case...or the buttons...or both.

Short answer - NO! Long answer - Don't bother unless you want to have an overhaul of the stick itself. The buttons can easily be replaced with OBSF-30 Sanwa parts and the PCB can be replaced with a generic PS2 pad (as long as you don't mind the buttons becoming exceedingly scrunched next to each other). But the stick is the problem. The Sanwa JLFs won't fit unless you find some creative and innovative way to fit it on. Simply put, if you don't have the experience, then don't mod it. There are better cases out there for you to use. If you want some pictures of how my stick got modded with the salubi, courtesy of Phaethon (gifted electronic engineer genius), then send me a PM. If you want competitive quality, then do not buy that USB stick. There are plenty of PS2 - USB converters out there for you to use.

lol!!!! i remember that match. that was absolutely hilarious. i didn't know what to do during those clashes except 2p. so i tried bursting out of it, but i shouldve let it go on. :3

how about if you dl a new ggxx.exe and try patching that? That's what I do in case renaming doesn't work. :3

Salinas is a little bit away from many of the nor cal ggers. But if you have a car (and willing to drive 60+ miles), then you can go to San Jose state university for mb/gg action. but, yeah, post on the nor cal forums if you want to try getting more local peops.

There's actually a lot of people...it's just that many of us are scattered and far apart from each other. So gatherings are rare to come by in large proportions. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to host another fighting game tourney (or at least help start one).
