Do we have any info on what the 236C/D imput is? Cause I'm drawing a blank. Also apparently none of his command throws use Persona anymore, according to the command list. Maybe having the Persona unbroken will just cause more damage or something. And I guess I'll move 5C paralysis to unconfirmed until we get something concrete on it. -

So shoulder charge looks like it might also be on regular Kanji? Argh, this would be so much easier to sort out if we had actual footage of someone using him. -
Maybe not, considering we have no clue when it'll even see a JP Console release. CP could feasibly be done and out the door by the time they start porting to consoles.

According to SoWL in the news thread Kanji can command throw without his Persona now. That's a nice buff if anything. -
I'm thinking they'll have to move the location of the baseball graphic if only because shit'll get really confusing during a Junpei mirror. Probably to over the meter bar like the rest of the cast.

good point. If the above is true it might be easier to deal with his crappier matchups. Only thing I'm thinking in regards to the shoulder tackle move is that Kanji may have just gotten Hammerfall. -

Command grabs without Persona does sound crazy if it's for regular Kanji. With only 3 cards to work with we'll probably have to start relying on specials that don't use Persona. Unless they decreased the time that it's actually out. -
There are certainly more characters that could get into Arena, and the way the character select is there's room for two more characters on the P4 side. At this point it's nothing but speculation, though.

Currently Known: (thanks to Omex and stunedge for translating stuff) LOKETEST #3 INFO AS OF NOVEMBER 18TH, 2013: 214D fatal recovery j.c hitbox nerfed, harder to anti anti air, can’t do instant j.c, fatal recovery, cannot take air actions afterwards, comes out slower they nerfed the tackle 5C does not fatal counter, full charge does still 5B gatling is unchanged form last loketest Can cancel last hit of dial A into either air cruel attack or j.214a due to the j.C hitbox nerf so it does not hit people if you do instant j.c, it has also become weaker as an anti anti air. Shadow Kanji Combo - Dive > 236236AB > 236236AB > 236CD > j.B > 2B comboed, damage was around 3100. 214CD does 2568 214D has increased forward momentum, same with 214214CD Charge 5B might be + on block 5C still paralyzes 5AA still advances him forward Dial A is much improved Both arms have a hitbox for j.C j.C is slower, doesn’t hit standing opponents, Fatal Recovery All CMD grabs have Fatal Recovery Less gatlings with 5B? Considering it's already in loketests I'd say end of the year/early next year. As for when it gets here who the hell knows.

So do we know if it's a legit sequel or just a title update? Cause I'm thinking the latter is the more likely one.

I'd imagine they'll buff other aspects of her since SMP loop is, like you said, likely eliminated. Maybe traps that'll do more damage or something.

Looks like the baseball graphic is in every screenshot of Junpei gameplay, so it definitely looks like it'll be his gameplay gimmick. Ideas on what it'll do?

I did just notice in the loketest screenshots one of Junpei's supers has a baseball diamond and Balls/Strikes/Outs counter at the bottom. I'll assume you mean Yukiko here. Junpei I can't really judge at the moment. Who the hell knows, maybe he'll have Kagura's playstyle from CP.
