Bound can be equivalent to Bounce in japanese. One of the people tweeting at the loketest says that move's effect is similar to Satsuki's j.[C] from Melty Blood.

[P4AU] Naoto Shirogane - Gameplay Discussion "TIME TO MOVE"
TaigaStyle replied to ludwig van's topic in Naoto Shirogane
5AA 5C 236B does indeed combo on crouchers. For that matter, so does 5AAA 236B actually, so I guess that's pretty cool too. I'm actually really enjoying the changes to short hop. With the new hop cancel you can do some pretty fun stuff with your blockstrings, particularly in the corner, like hop cancel into a j.C then cancel that into j.214CD, and really mess with them if they respect you. Stuff like grabbing, or jumping then going empty low/airdash high/whatever, fun stuff. Also, does anyone know if there's a way to turn off the first attack SP bonus in training mode?? -
Has anyone mentioned crossup j.B > j.236B uncrossup? If your crossup is really close inbetween you can uncrossup with j.236B and it leads to great damage if they get hit. I've hit people with it when they were preoccupied with trying to block crossup j.B > float auto correct j.B j.C.

Yeah, besides the fact that I want to be able to bring the game places, I also can't be assed to get a new HDD for my PS3, so I'd rather just import a physical copy instead of managing all the stuff I have downloaded on my console. Of course buying both physical and digital is out of the question, so I'd rather just wait a day or two. Even if it kills me inside...

Oh boy, I didn't get any e-mail still. A little worried, I think the reason might be because I switched over to EMS a week ago or so. I hope they didn't delay it for that.

I haven't gotten my email from Amiami either. I was honestly worried it was just me.

I like time overs when they're at a good level of infrequency. It really adds a level of depth when your opponent is on the defensive and you're forced to chase them down to at least get the life lead. Especially when that leads to really tense situations where the clock's about to run out and you barely get the hit you need to clutch it out, it's a great feeling. I think that's exciting for spectators too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZHzH742pqE This is footage of the Waldstein infinite. The description says this happens in the corner when only the first hit and the last hit of his EX DP land and you 6C.

http://horibuna.web.fc2.com/UNIEL/index.html This site has a sizable database of footage, organized by matchups. You can search on a character-versus-character basis, and there's combo videos as well. The links don't have timestamps however,

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

You can't cancel out of whatever attack you use into other moves with grounded assault. Air assault doesn't have that stipulation. -

How strict are we talking here? Like, Super Turbo strict? -

Haha, I was looking at those veil off combos at the end there and thinking "This looks really impractical, when am I ever going to get the chance to activate raw veil off and use these combos?" Then he showed the punish for Linne's 623C and it all made sense... That's pretty great. Probably worth keeping note of how bad the recovery is on that DP though, bet most of the cast can murder her for it. -

I hope not. I want to do that to someone on the PS3 version. -

Quite a statement to say they don't care about Melty fans just because it's not on PC. -

Personally, of Licht Kreiss members, I want Kaguya in. I have love for characters that dual wield guns and actually use them, which is what I'd be hoping for from her. -

Personally I'd love to see how their creation process works, if they're not doing any art save for concept sprites. That sounds very unusual to me and at the same time very interesting. -
Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

Assuming it's like melty blood, Crossup protection only protects you from any jump-in if you hold in the direction the opponent is facing. What that means is if they land you have to switch blocks because it changes their faced direction. That was the basis for the Sandoori in Melty. So provided you have a setup for it, you should be able to do Front High/Front Low/Crossup Empty Jump Low or Mid, or whatever else you can hit the opponent with given your character's tools. I've definitely at least seen some Carmine players hit people with some really dirty stuff,. -

You can chain shift during your opponent's offense to see what he's doing at the moment. So for example, if you're in vorpal and your opponent were to do a non-airtight blockstring, you can freeze frame with chainshift, see he's throwing something out, then hit him with a reversal. I guess you could do the same for oki as long as they're not hitting meaty. -
Shadow Teddie's theme is Borderline of Madness.

I'm right on the line between bridgeport and stratford. I've actually been to gaming ETC a couple of times, but since I mostly like the airdasher fighters and school started getting in the way I took a break. Though, I should clarify, I'm not all that great at any of the games I play. It's really the reason I want more offline play, I don't really get any experience with the games even though I have tons of interest in them. I hope that's not a problem.

Recently, Persona is the only real game I've been playing, though with a major lack of motivation due to not really having any offline competition. I used to play Street Fighter and a little Marvel but I feel like those games weren't really for me. I play some Melty Blood, I guess, and I would like to get into Blazblue with Chrono Phantasma coming out eventually. There's a number of other miscellaneous games I like playing for fun but the ones I mentioned are the ones I find people recognize the most.

Hey, what's up guys. I'm semi-new to these forums, I just mostly lurked up to now. Decided to make an account. I'm from Connecticut, and I'm wondering, do any of you other players from CT have any frequent gatherings or tournaments in the state? I kind of want to play offline matches for some of my fighting games, mostly Persona, and I figure hell, I'll give a shot asking here to see how the scene is.
