  2. ah, my bad. Basically, any normal that is "jump cancelable" can be canceled by just inputting jump as you hit someone with it. Most of the time you can do that on hit or block. Never on whiff tho.
  3. 2B > jump cancel j.C. Easier on counter hit, but should be perfectly doable without. Although AA 2B > 5C is better in most cases.

  5. any meaty attack (aka any attack done AS they're getting up) should beat wakeup crouch jab. Edit: If the timing isn't working right, you can try putting a projectile or also just staying out of the range of a crouch jab as you attack them to beat it out as well. DP RC works too.

  7. to be fair, her midscreen oki was never that good to begin with, so it being gone doesn't bother me in the slightest. I have to say I think she definitely looks stronger. More damage, more pressure, more neutral options, more damage off j.D, more... everything lol. And new DP combos too, like wtf. Oh, and freeze now too. I'm pretty excited at least.

  9. You merely adopted The Holy Thouzer. I was born into it, molded by it. I didn't see solid play until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but a way to lose online!
  10. Well, I never liked the midscreen mixup because it wasn't anywhere near as safe as the corner one, so I'm not too overly sad about the loss of midscreen sweep > 5DD. Also I felt rampage OMC was really weak as mixup late into P4A's life, but IDK how much they changed SB Rampage now, so maybe OMC is the only "metered" mixup she has now. With the way j.D now changes her jump arc, I have no idea how that's going to work in neutral now lol. It was okay before, but less cards might make it just too risky in P4U2. As far as SB God's Hand goes... I'm hoping to see some setups to OTG after it lol. Two strikes SHOULD mean you get more time to combo after? At least I'd think so.
  11. Alright, fine, I'll make discussion lol. Kinda glad that a lot of Chie's annoying stuff is gone, but what do people think about 2B forcing stand on hit? Might make pressure/combo decisions a lot different, especially with B Skull Cracker being the main way to go into 5/2DD now apparently. Also, despite the range getting nerfed, 5C putting the persona behind Chie is really nice too IMO. Keeps it safer.

  13. no no no, I'm not saying to get in with 5B/2B, I'm saying you should practice landing it with that in training mode to get it down since B starters are easier than A starters, especially 2A. 2A is a better neutral tool than either of the B normals, so getting in with that is good, but normally off that starter you want to just go into sweep instead. For your combo specifically, off 2A it's just a really tight link, you might want to try dropping the 5AA and just go 2A > 5B > 2B... instead. I'd only do that combo if it will kill though.
  14. There's a couple potential problems you're having. The first and most obvious is that you're playing online; connections tend to fluctuate and in general it's much harder to do combos online than off. That's just something you have to get used to. Secondly, it might be because you're starting with 2A. 2A starters in this game generally make your combo much shorter and more difficult to do (I'm actually surprised that that combo works at all off 2A lol). Try starting with 5A or better yet, 5B, it'll make the timing easier. Finally, the 5B link off skull cracker DOES have an awkward timing, so you might just need more time in training mode to get it down. Make sure you can do it at least 10 times in a row. Edit: last minute thought, when you do it in training mode, does the combo counter turn yellow? That means the opponent could have gotten out of the combo if they wanted to, which might be your problem.
  15. if you get 1/2 bars with some people you should be okay. I thought you meant you literally just get 0 bar with everyone. Just ask in one of the threads if you can play next time! We won't bite... most of the time

  17. Generally, 0 bar will lag, even if you don't feel it yourself it generally just means you're not at a level where you can feel it. That said, you should be okay if you get someone to lag test/approve you.
  18. it's totally might be j.C instead of 5C before j.BB > j.8D and if it is I'm sorry and you can all make fun of me now ;; edit: yeah, it's actually 5B (CH) > 2D > 5C > 236B > 5B > j.C > j.BB > j.8D > AoA... it does about the same damage as what Primera posted (a whole 2 damage more), so take your pick on what you think it easier. I'll check my combos before I post them in the future I promise (that's a lie btw).

Chie Satonaka Change ListSweep > 5D/2D no longer works as a relevant oki/setplay tool.Number of Persona cards reduced from 4 to 3.Move Change: 2C. 3 hit Persona normal with slow startup and recovery. Causes short freeze duration on hit and can be chained into from different moves than before. 1.1 change: can be dash canceled.New Move: Lunge Punch (214A/B). Can be canceled into and out of with other specials. Chie steps back, winds up and then lunges forward with her fist extended. Looks similar to Yun's lunge in 3rd strike. A version is quick and easy to combo into. B version has Chie step far back before lunging forward. SB version is similar to B, but is two hits and looks decent on block.DP active and recovery frames appear to be the same, but the recovery is now in fatal recovery state, letting any hit be a fatal starter.j.2B added, same as the second hit of j.BB.Second hit of auto combo is a 2 hit hook kick that vacuums opponents in.2B forces stand on hit.Agneyastra instantly ends if Chie/Tomoe gets hit.SB God's Hand causes 2 fists to come down, one after the other.5/2DD knocks opponent back, causes wall bounce in the corner. It has Chie's new 5AA and 2C (I think at least) in it. They're both really cool and look useful and stuff, so you all should watch it!
