I'm planning to be there, and would definitely like to see another Guilty Gear side tournament. I had a really good time playing in the one that was held last year.

I'll be at Game Underground tonight, in case anyone wants to play GG (or SSFIVAE...or MK). -
What console will Guilty Gear be run on this year? This thread says PS3 (although it won't be out on PSN in the U.S. until December 4th) and the Shoryuken.com thread says PS2. I think running it on Xbox 360 would make the most sense for now. Not many people bring PS2 sticks, but plenty of people have 360 or dual modded sticks.

Guilty Madness - High Stakes Guilty Gear Results!
blueNINE replied to DaiAndOh's topic in Tournament Results
I feel that a tournament like this was really needed, and I'm glad to have been a part of it. It was really refreshing to have a tournament dedicated to Guilty Gear. I've really missed there being competition like that for this game. Thanks to everyone who showed up, to Min and Team Sp00ky for providing the stream, to everyone who helped commentate, to DaiAndOh and everyone who helped to run the tournament, to Next Level for providing a great space for the event, and to all those who donated to the pot bonus. It was good to see so many players that I haven't run into in so long, and to meet some new ones as well. I hope to see you at NEC! <3 Guilty Gear! -
Yo 895! A big shoutout to everyone who threw into the prize money. Speaking of which, what is the payout for this? I just noticed that it wasn't mentioned at all in the first post. Anyhow, I'm still in there for this. Plenty of players from New England will be rolling up. As far as I know, the plan is still to do a 5v5 round robin. New England will have a team ready for that.

I'm in for Friday and Saturday, too! This tournament is going to be crazy. From what I understand, there's no parking garage nearby I've never had problems with the degree of safety there, and haven't heard stories about any friends having problems there either. I heard that it's a pretty safe area, in fact. The subway runs all the time, but trains come less often as it gets later in the night. For buses...I couldn't tell ya. By yourself, I think the safest, most efficient, and cheapest way is to take a bus, such as Megabus. If you're with a large group of people and you have someone behind the wheel who can drive in the city, then taking a car is more ideal. -
NYC anime crew, it has been too long. See you on Saturday! If you're going to Guilty Madness, you could ask Vyers to show you a thing or two.

That song got swag. Thanks. May is...the worst in the game apart from Justice? Remember how, for the last few months, I've been saying we should just forget about Plus R and just play Accent Core Plus? IT IS NOW DOUBLE CONFIRMED. (Seriously, though, I hope that there will be another slight revision before the Plus R patch comes out on console. I don't appreciate that my character was overnerfed.) -

GGz at my place yesterday. Thanks to everyone who showed up! I hope we can play some more before next weekend. I've been watching some matches from a-cho, and found some that you guys might like. kona; a May vs. Bridget match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4I1n4wUgiw&feature=player_detailpage#t=552s Vyers; a long May vs. Baiken set: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcPtpNJvwqg Katz and Vyers: a crazy Zappa vs. Baiken match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4I1n4wUgiw&feature=player_detailpage#t=1166s I think we might as well keep track of the games won/lost. To me, it'd make sense to sort the order by matches (3/5 sets) won, and just use the win/loss ratio for tie breakers. -

?? Sorry I couldn't make it. Just a miscommunication, and it shouldn't happen again. I might be able to make it to X9 before Iron Kingdoms, but I'm not sure yet. We are DEFINITELY on for Thursday. If anyone's interested in playing, please send a PM. -

Anyone want to play GG at GU tomorrow? Tales, Vyers, and any locals who'd be willing to drive up, do you want to play in Amherst on Wednesday or Thursday? Guilty Madness less than two weeks away now! -

I think that'd be a fair way to do it, and I'm down. But if we end up not having time, I'd rather see us just end up picking a few people rather than not playing (like we did in Philly for the NJ team battle that never went down...haha). Also, do we have more than 5 people from New England will be there? -

Let's play GG at GU on Friday! Hopefully you can bum a ride from someone, Troll Badguy. A suitably manly replacement for your HRAP. Sounding good, Danny! I think I'm in. -

http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/gameunderground-maasssaaachuuseettsss-framingham-tues-fri.52066/ They have fight nights every Tuesday and Friday. Can just hit me up in advance to see if I'll be around for games. Sorry; hold that? I think it's cool that AH3 is getting an update, though, and I might even try it out. But right now, it's all about dat GGXXACP. I was supposed to get a link so that I could hear said band. Where's my damn link, Danny? -

I have it for both PS2 and 360, but I can't play online, as it's not possible to get a good internet connection where I live. How hard is it for you to get to GU? Maybe we could set something up there. -

Damn...I can't believe you've been in my town for about a year and we haven't seen each other once! Figuring out a place to play is no problem. You can just let me know when you have time to press buttons. Yesss. -

Yo yo yo yo! Guilty Madness is less than a month away, NEC is not too distant, and Bacardi said that he is thinking of doing a high stakes GG tournament at Gamingetc in CT in January, possibly. So when are we playing Guilty Gear? I don't know what has been going on lately with casuals, or who is seriously interested in playing. After tomorrow, I am going to be playing this game pretty much every day, and I want to get matches in. -

That P4A seems pretty broken, but I am still learning it so far, although I'm really considering relegating it to Skullgirls status (or not playing it until it's patched, for the uninitiated). Guilty Madness tournament, which will be held at Next Level in November, looks too good. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core only, $25 entry, $500 pot bonus, all 3/5 games? Yes, please.
