  1. Good to know. On an unrelated note: How bout that Challenge Mission #9. I think it's good they're keeping us on our toes and not just giving us magnetism all willy nilly. You're truly a master if you can do Tager's mission #9 combo.
  2. I'll be doing more testing later today, but as far as I can tell, FC 2C > J.2C > 2B > 2C > AC > j.C whiff > j.2C > 2B > A Sledge > 5C > 6A > AC > j.C whiff > lowest j.2C > GF (Doesn't work mid-screen against HK, BA, RC) [4297] ...no longer works. They can tech out between the 6A > AC at the end. Unless my button is sticking and making me hold the AC for more than the minimum...(which might be possible)
  3. I 6H'd a Sol to the other end of the stage, and when I realised that I wasn't going to get close enough, I just figured I'd SH > HFB > stuff. I do the slidehead, and nothing happens. Sol just sits there holding his head.
  4. does anybody else experience the random slide head missing when you dizzy somebody? Make's no sense.
  5. IB got nerfed as far as the number of frames it cuts off of guardstun, but didn't everything get their animations shortened (attacks etc.)? I thought I read that. Wouldn't that basically mean that IB is still removing the same % of frames, Proportionately, to what it did in CS? Now if they didn't change the number of standard (non-IB) guardstun frames on all moves, that totally throws everything out of whack. Anybody know? If this is true, everything would essentially be the same, but faster.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOsxjzRFGb4#t=8m17 What magicianry did Galileo use to do this? 5a comes out then about a whole second later the 720 comes out.
  7. Well hey, I didn't say there would be women in range. BUT IF THEY WERE....................
  8. Somebody didn't detect the heavy sarcasm in my post......still, it's a pro combo and should be added to the first post with an asterisk leading to discussion of its proness. Also, an added bonus is that as soon as you land it, pheromones release from your body attracting all females in a 12 mile radius.
  9. IMPORTANT POST! READ OR YOU'LL REGRET IT! POWERFUL COMBOS!!!!1!11!!ONE Okay so through Vigorous testing (dicking around) and high level conceptual combo theorizing (Trying to mash out a 1080 for a good 15 seconds against my friend who is also trying feverishly to execute his own astral), I have stumbled upon a game breaking combo! What is it? CH j.D > ASTRAL .....You're welcome.
  10. hey Ohio. Me and a couple other guys from the Ashland/Mansfield area have been playing GG/BB for a long time. We've lurked the boards, but never looked for any outside players. If there's anybody in the area looking for some fresh faces, hit me up here, or via PM. We play either game.
  11. I apologize ahead of time because I'm sure this has been asked before, but I have no good way of searching for it in the thread. Does 632146C work after any old 623D or do they have to be higher in the air when they get hit by 623D for it to work? I seem to be unable to get it to work when they were only a little above my head when I hit them with 623D. Also, is it character specific at all?
  12. Also there are some combos that definitely require magnetism that have a 'no' in the Mag. column. Not bad otherwise. P.S. thanks for the gf>rc>ac help guys
  13. Hey all. I've got a question about using negative edge in CS. I've been trying to do Gadget finger > RC > 623C and I always find myself doing it too slow, but then I got to thinking (sometimes dangerous). Back in GGAC I could FRC Potemkin's buster and do the input for HPB and just let up on S (while keeping P and K held down) and the HPB would come out and combo from the buster (not a particularly necessary combo, but fun to do). But when I tried to do that in BB by doing gadget finger > [ABC] > 623]C[ , the AC never comes out. Did they remove that ability to negative edge the input? or am I just terrible at inputs?
  14. Wanted to come till I saw that everything was being played on Xbox.
  15. Rather than start a new thread, this seems like a fine place to ask this question about Pot oki game. What's the best option against opponents who are nearly always trying to poke out on wake up? I try meaty moves but most are a little too obvious aka HS. How good is meaty slide head? Is it punishable on block? I'm assuming from reading posts here that I should be using it more.
