Is there a reliable way to tell the timing for 6HS > Hammerfall? I just spent 70 minutes on Potemkin's challenge #32 and finally beat it, yet I'm still not sure on the timing of that cancel. It's a nightmare.

From what I understand, there's an "improved networking" note there, so I guess they are addressing it? Gonna have to wait and see.

I've gotten some mileage out of 236P > Buster when they block the 236P. If you're fancy (and a wizard), you can cross them up with 236P and do Buster.

Actually, games that were ports of old games and released close to a sale did get a heavy discount during said sale, so I wouldn't rule out something beyond 25%.

It seems PQube owns the EU rights to Continuum Shift Extend, which is why it can't be sold in the EU. If you can get someone who has access to the game to buy it for you, you can still play it. The region lock on Steam lets you play gifts from regions you otherwise can't play. (It's how I played Dark Souls and Arkham City)

I tried doing this last night in training mode for Potemkin's buster, but I can't seem to get the timing down :/

I had this 5 minute period where it refused to connect to anyone. Left Network mode and then went back into the lobby, then it worked fine.

I don't know, it feels like BBCP to me. I wonder whether people would have noticed if the delay wasn't displayed.

I spent forever trying to figure out how. As an additional problem, my friends can't even see my matches in the player match search. I have to essentially host a lobby room, name it "private" and kick anyone who joins who wasn't invited. It's frustrating.

From the comments I've seen on the forums, the US (and Canada) seem to be having a really bad time with the netcode, while Europe seems fine. At least I know as a Euro player that I didn't have all that much trouble. Also, PS3 seems to be slightly worse than PS4? I've seen a few such comments, but I've played with PS3 players without any real issues.

It's because of the latter, yeah, but I'm also trying to figure out how Pot's moves work and this situation is quite confusing. Also, will we do a match-up subforum, or just stick all questions in this thread?

Potemkin's 236236S VS Ky's Greed Sever: in some cases it works, but in others I get hit by Ky's special. This is point-blank in both cases, but I'm not really sure why it works sometimes and doesn't at other times. I've had both scenarios happen up close and slighty farther, and both early and late in Ky's move. Anyone know what the proper timing should be to reliable grab him with the super?

I've been playing this game since Thursday and I'm loving it. Finally decided to stick with Potemkin and Venom, so just need to get confident enough to play with random people online. Waiting for a new Guilty Gear all these years has paid off. Aside from some of my favorite chars missing, it's everything I wanted it to be (I was big on #reload, but didn't like AC all that much). Oh, as far as latency goes: Serbia VS Serbia: 2F Delay; Serbia VS Sweden: 3-4F Delay/10F if streaming; This is PS4 (me) VS PS3. I played versus someone from the UK who was also on PS4 and the latency was minimal. I feel like this netcode is pretty much the same as BBCP's, at least as far as playing with Europe goes. If any East Coast players want to help me test the connection, feel free to ring me up on PSN.

How do you make a private room on a PS4 and -invite- friends? I can make a room but apparently, the invitation part is different from the PS3...

Going through challenges, why are Sol's gunflame and Ky's stun edge labelled "(Enhanced)" when done as part of a combo? Is the startup faster?

Ky, Sol and Sin are the cast from Two and a Half Men. Sol is Charlie.

Some DLC information people who missed out on Elphelt might appreciate. I bought the PS4 Japanese digital version of the game, but missed the pre-order window. Since I had bought the pre-paid yen cards, I bought the game anyway. A friend of mine bought the PS3 HK version of the game and got Elphelt. He shared his account with me and when I logged into the account, Elphelt was there for me. I switched back to my main account and she still works. Essentially, pre-order bonus DLC is cross-buy and HK DLC (in this case) is compatible with JP games. Hope it helps someone in a similar situation as I was in.

I spent 5 minutes reading the chronology from the pause menu and got an idea what happened in Overture. One of the two things this story did very well was reference and explain past events without forcing it. The other part is how a lot of small details you notice become relevant later on: Stuff I didn't enjoy though: But yeah, the characters are extremely likeable in their own peculiar ways. I even enjoyed Ramlethal.

That story was anime hype as fuck. I loved it, although the fact that it didn't have any gameplay and was just a "visual novel movie" kinda caught me offguard.

New players who can't tell the difference between FPS (or rather, don't care) will prefer the game to be shinier. A lot of people play fighting games by just loading them up and playing with friends locally. People who care about FPS will be able to find those settings and fix it as a two-second job. I think you're overreacting to this.
