  1. Ah, well I guess those are the only viable outcomes at this point, but I'm really hoping that it turns out to be number 1. Number 2 would likely just add too much confusion to an already confusing subplot of time paradoxes. Either way could work, though, I guess...
  2. Ah. Well that's interesting. Hmm... Aside from what has been said about Noel = Saya, I wonder what else could be the reason for why Saya communicates through Noel so well.
  3. So, I've been wondering if Saya somehow has the ability to speak or "reach out" to others (specifically Ragna) through her clones, since they possess that similar "something" that allows her to do so. If so, then perhaps it is possible that Noel possesses the best "something," which is why Saya communicates best through her. So then, it's as if she's trying to find various ways—including her own body (hindered because of Izanami)—to call out to others, especially Ragna. This could mean that she'll play a pivotal role in defeating Izanami, either by fighting Izanami internally or by providing hints as to how to ultimately defeat her. Note: That "something" I mentioned refers to whatever qualities the clones (λ, μ, and ν) possess that resembles Saya's original self.
  4. I guess I'll just ask about this in here, as it may engender speculative claims... Who or what exactly IS Platinum anyway? As in, the little girl; not the souls within. Any info on her?
  5. >Judging a timeloop-based plot after seeing just ONE episode. >2013 Sons (and daughters?) I am disappoint...
  6. I could have sworn the game made it known that there are many varieties of beastkin, even though they're considered a minority, but hey, no one pays attention anymore. Please note that Valkenhayn is also classified as such. #butIdigress #offtopic
  7. I dunno. Maybe. Might cause a fustercluck of snafu, but meh... I find it likely that the "true wielder" of Amaterasu may be revealed or something. Though with Blazblue's plot progression, you never know...
  8. Speaking of which, if the plot holds true to that whole Shinto mythos references thing, then I wonder which person, place, thing, or entity (or whatever) might serve the role of the legendary Yata-no-Kagami--one of the imperial regalia of Japan and the mirror of legend that "blinds" Amaterasu upon being drawn out of hiding (although, the goddess is fabled to have been envious of a "supposed" 'goddess' more beautiful than herself, and wanted to exit the cave to see what's up and possibly beat that bitch's ass for stealing her glory, but the other goddess in question turned out to be her own reflection, at which point she was drawn out of the cave, and a magical seal was placed upon said cave (by someone), disabling her from re-entering it...) I place my bets on the 'Chronophantasma' serving that purpose (the 'mirror'), but I also can't help but suspect that Amane might somehow [inadvertently?] play a role in all of this (as unlikely as that may seem at this point)...
  9. He may have cut his hair at some point, perhaps?
  10. Lately I've been in it for the story, especially if it's quite decent when compared with, let's say, the Street Fighter series. It is for this reason that I wish that story-heavy fighting games would just branch off and become a genre all their own or something. On topic, though: Can anyone confirm if any of the GG2 Overture are characters going to make it into the roster? (Sorry, I haven't been keeping tabs on the latest Xrd news and such, but I shall at some point...)
  11. I sure hope that Xrd includes a retelling of the series' main events up 'til now; at this point, the plot is all over the place, and it is in desperate need of summary and direction...
  12. (lol) Was the theorist in that video a moron or something? I mean, come on, Saya's hair was not "originally white like Ragna's"; instead it was blond. Really tarnishes what little semblance of credibility said theorist had to begin with...
  13. True, but as an editor myself, I can tell you that Wikipedia also has a strict task force of mods, patrollers, and admins on the watch for foul play, dubious information, vandalism, you name it. Not to mention the vast majority of them have the infamous Fandom Berserk Button, and they cringe at the mere mention of erroneous information concerning their area of expertise, especially gaming. Lol. That whole VA reveal thing could still be wrong as all hell, though... On-topic, though. I'm fine with whatever VAs they end up with, so long as they're not a load of randoms. God forbid Maxie Whitehead portraying the voice of that androgynous guy probing Kagura's dick in Story Mode. Johnny Yong Bosch as the voice of Amane would induce so many feels. I dunno, though; most of the time, the English VAs tend to sound somewhat like their character's Japanese seiyu counterpart, and I am just not seeing Akita Ishida → JYB, but w/e.
  14. Hmm, I've always wondered if Saya's general color scheme harbored a hidden, symbolic, story-based message, what with Ragna and Jin being "evil red" and "righteous blue," respectively. (i.e., Red + Blue → Purple) Nah, probably not...
  15. Please let this be the right thread for this... Anyway, I made this, like, a year ago, and have yet found anywhere to post it until now (hopefully): Not that great of a sprite edit, but there you have it...
  16. Okay, I know... so I posted this in that other thread... <_ <
  17. Ah... so if Amane plays the "role" that I think he is going to play, then it is likely that he's going to play a [significant] part in drawing Amaterasu out of hiding as the tale dictates. This... I am fine with, just so long as he does not "wield" it or something... ...can't wait to see how this transpires.
