Hmm? I thought the definition of "pressure reset" was axiomatic, I've just never found a real, consistent use for 5B as a pressure reset. It's extremely easy, if gimmicky, to reset Jin's pressure anyway.

I don't really know why you'd use 5B to reset pressure, the only thing you can use before it is 5a, 2a, and 2b. I mean, I know I'm (probably) not the best Jin, but it seems like it's pointless when everybody blocks low until 5b anyway.

Tier whores frustrate me to no end. Just choose who you like the most, and screw tiers. Half of the Ragnas I see online instantly rage-quit when I decimate them with a a B-tier, lol. Gonna stick with Jin through thick and thin. -

I just noticed that the OD timer decreases more slowly when hitting the enemy, at least with normals.

Nah, I meant on standing opponent, I already knew reset opportunity > bit more damage.

Ah, that's too bad. Yeah, if there was a meterless way to extend standing bnb they probably would've found it already.

No no no, I mean 5B-5C-j2C-jD land microdash 5B-5C-(2C)-3C-musou for a basic bnb, instead of 5B-5C-2C-3C-musou. It would improve his midscreen by quite a bit, and I haven't seen anybody try it.

It should, but as far as I know there's no video proof. I'm almost certain it will still work, though. Maybe even on Sekka follow up too :P Anyway, does anyone think 5B-5C-j2C-jD- stuff will work? It feels like it should.

I'm pretty sure the AI is set at around 1500-2000, and everything else afterward is just a pattern, with some random numbers involved. I made it to 3400-ish, and it took me about 6 hours (grinding for that trophy is a bitch). The maximum depth is 99999, so it would take about 177 hours of gameplay to reach the end. Even if you did finally reach the end, I feel like it would just keep repeating the same depth or something. -

Unlimited Mars is the offline go-to for me, I've beaten it with 8 characters, lol. I almost never play Score Attack though. -

I believe it's once for normal D moves, 10 for EX freezes (236D, 623D, etc), and unlimited(?) for distortions. In overdrive, it's 3 for sword and ice normals, and five for specials such as Hizansen. I think Ex freeze count remains the same. -
Yeah, but most aerial parts of combos are either highly prorated, or midscreen. Of course there are (almost) always exceptions, but it seems like it generally wouldn't be worth it.

Yeah, but in a highly prorated combo, You'd probably only be able to do 6C- 22C. Also, why not get that second hit in there for some extra damage, It has a shit-ton of untechable time.

Hey, I have an OD combo path from 6C That would be HUGE damage, I posted it on Youtube, but I'll re-post here: (-)6C-cOD-2D-CT-6B-j214D-5C-6C-22C-6B-j214C-3C-632146C This is just speculation, but from all the Jin videos I've watched (a lot), this should work. My guess is, it should be able to be done at about <30% health.

I created this thread to help out anyone having trouble reacting to certain attacks. So to start off, the average reaction time is about 200 to 300 milliseconds. After some quick math, you can tell 1 frame is 16.6-onward milliseconds. Now, for example, a green grab has 15 frames until you can't reject it anymore, so: 15x16.6= about 250 milliseconds, right in the middle of the average. Now, you're probably asking "Are you crazy?! Reacting to green throws? Preposterous.", In which case, you'd be right. Certain things affect reaction time, most importantly in BlazBlue, variables. Variables increase reaction time by a considerable amount, which we all use to our advantage, in the case of "overhead or low" mixup attempt. Now, to test this, Blackwing55 and I entered a test match. Before researching, we thought Jins' overhead was nearly impossible to react to, however, during testing we were pleasantly surprised. We had no trouble reacting to that trademark twirl, and after doing the math, it makes sense. 16.6×19= about 316 milliseconds, which even those with slower reaction times would be able to react to. Now, an easy way to improve your reaction time is to simply know the options. If you're having trouble with a certain blockstring, see if you can get someone to help you practice with it. With this being my first thread created, let me know if it breaks any rules I didn't notice. That being said, feel free to ask any questions if you need help.
