  1. Don't feel bad, just keep at it. If it makes you feel better, CS2 Noel's challenges are easier than CS1 IMO.
  2. Thank you. I guess that would explain why 6C > BC > 6C wasn't working most of the time eh?
  3. That's the exact sequence for 99% of my Drive combos as well but only because I find d.6C > 214A much more easier to perform than d.6A > 214A. What I'm curious about though is does modifying the order of the combo affects it negatively in any way?
  4. Where WERE you? I missed you. TTnTT Color it Michi!
  5. Soooo is it bad that even after owning this game for 4 months, I still do sesame street combos into super with Weiss?
  6. 5B > 2B > 6A > 6C > stuff works? I guess SJC would would make j.D connect.
  7. As in a clean normal 5B on a standing opponent, not CH, with no heat? Only combo she can go for is 5B > 5C > 2C. If you're feeling gutsy, you can go for 5B > (5C if 5B is not blocked since 5C is not JCable on block) > JC > high/low/j.4C crossup mixup.
  8. For those Jins who think they're so crafty by using 5B twice in their blockstrings, I think you can outpoke them, but forgot which normals to use though. May not be significant but it's something to look out for. I'll edit this post later after I find out.
  9. I personally play footsies with her 5B and 5C (more with 5B) and hope it CHs so that I can go straight into a 3C combo. If they don't, I have 50 Heat, and they're not far away, I can RC into 6A > stuff. If they're in the air, JC into an air combo.
  10. If there's one thing I know when fighting Ragna, or anybody with a DP in general, be prepared to lose whatever momentum you've gained when you finish a combo due to obvious reasons. However don't lose heart though and continue to be vigilant, in a more patient manner, especially with this matchup. After playing a few of my friends' Ragnas, this matchup is still kind of scary even with slightly better normals and higher damaging combos due to reasons GGJ posted above. The only way I can get some damage in is if I capitalize on mistakes my friends make with 6A AA, CH and Drive punishers, unlike them where they get a random hit with a normal on me and it leads to decent combo since I didn't block correctly at that particular time. I also found out that even with careful spacing with Noel's 5B and 5C, they lose to random Hell's Fangs. Since Drive is one of the most reliable ways for Noel to get at least a guaranteed 4k combo, a free opportunity for a 5D is when Ragna is being obvious when he uses his overhead, 6B. If you're psychic and you can predict when he's going to throw out a 6B, whether you're blocking, hit, or rising up, 5D should beat out his overhead. That's all I can contribute for now. =P
  11. Question, doesn't the person who manage the BBVlog Youtube account have a method where you can share your replays with him/her so that he/she can upload it for the world to see and have your play be critiqued? If yes and you don't have a way to record gameplay or don't feel like recording straight off of a camera, that could be an option for you guys.
  12. Still salty that I'm not gonna be able to enjoy Deathsmiles, Senko no Ronde, etc. on my PS3, though Deathsmiles has an iPhone/iTouch port though. Now back on topic. I like the way how Powered Ciel's win portrait is angled, makes her boobs look much bigger. Okay, got that out of my system. So what do you think about her Oki game?
  13. Powered Ciel's Story Mode for those interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2-F-BeA3h8
  14. I still don't use 6A as an AA since my AA reactions are still ass. I can predict and react to grabs pretty well though.
  15. jourdal uploaded a few 4/29 Tougeki Qualifiers... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s5C2rWCmmc&feature=feedu First match, R-1 vs. Keita (Makoto). Ouch R-1.
  16. Any frame traps Noel can mindfuck her opponents with by taking advantage of 2C's +3 frame advantage on block, despite the not so sexy pushback? Also is there anything Noel can do to force her opponents to jump away so that I can airgrab them?
  17. 2B > 6A > 6C > 236A > 66C stuff. He techs out before the 66C can hit, perhaps it's the height though I can't perform the 6C > BC loop on him. Pretty much CH 5B > 3C > stuff is the only one that comes to mind. If your reactions aren't quite good enough to hit-confirm CH 5bs and you go autopilot into 5C with at least 50 heat, you can for 5B > 5C > Rapid > 66A > 6C > 236A > 66C > Chain Revolver shit.
  18. Can anyone care to explain how come Hakumen keeps teching out even from just 6C > 236A? You would think his bigger hitbox would be more lenient with this.
  19. 1. Probably because it's more "stable" and/or it gives maximizes the damage. 2. Most likely because the extra 2D doesn't mess with the combo's damage and/or put the combo in any risk of making the opponent tech out early despite the "general rule of thumb" for Chain Revolver being that it's discouraged to repeat the same input in CR combo. Read Sky's #2.
  20. Especially if you're practicing the Haida obviously. How I practiced the CS1 Haida, I started off with Tager, then moved on to Hakumen and Bang, then moved on to those with "standard sized"/Haida-able characters.
  21. Pretty much this. If you focus on learning her Haida first despite having difficulty with it and not her basic BnBs, when you jump into matches, you're not going to have much in terms of your "combo repertoire" if you can barely perform the Haida and barely know any of her basic combos. Hell, despite the weeks of practice I had in CS2 already, I STILL don't know how to perform the Haida loop and yet I'm do just fine when I play Ad-Hoc with my friends since Noel's BnBs are basically etched into my heart already. Just a question but aren't you supposed to input a BC > 6C in between the "6C > 236A" so that your opponent's height in the air will be brought down just a tad bit? And if I may put this out here... IMO, it's okay if you modify a combo you are performing mid-match if you are afraid that you can't perform it yet and that you'll drop it. It's better actually finishing the combo than trying to execute a combo with the exact inputs in mind only to drop it if your technical skill isn't quite there yet. For example, I personally am still not used to the timing of Noel's 6C > BC loop due to how my fingers are still used to the loop's timing in CT and with 6C having a slower start up, so temporarily, I omit it from my combos and go straight for the 236A and it hasn't failed me yet. However, I'm not discouraging practicing the combo with the exact inputs. Eventually, I too need to get used to the timing of Noel's 6C > BC loop in the future as I am positive it may save me. /2pennies
  22. It would be helpful if you would post the full combo and the character(s) you are performing on as well so that it would be easier for us to help you. EDIT: I think I just found out why. You're probably right, it's because the opponent is too high for the d.6B, so try modifying the combo into j.D > d.6D > d.5D > d.5C > d.6B > BT.
  23. The way you drew her eyes and positioned those glasses................................
  24. Shoutouts to you for making me think there was new news for this game.
  25. Wallpaper version anyone?
