  1. Well I do gotta start this one on time. So if a certain group of people show up late, guess they won't have a shot at the money...
  2. For GG, Woshige has just been GODLIKE the last 2 years. Sometimes it's hard for me to believe he'll ever lose. Too bad he wasn't like it 3 years ago when him and Shonen had to play with only 2 players due to Ruu's work. Though Shonen OCVing the first round for them was pretty awesome. Lost a heartbreaker to Gibson next round, Woshige beat Gibson, but then lost. Personally rooting for the Axl team. Gotta support the main. Recent vids of Samitto have been pretty godlike as well, now for sure one of my favorites to watch along with N-O. As is any US team, none in GG this year though. Stupid east coast team that wanted to go for Fate that one year and lost qualifiers. I like how we send some strong ass teams last year....and they paired us against hell. Like they said, you ain't never gonna win! Might be true though.
  3. Kyaku and Souji teaming up is amusing, I can say that much. I don't watch enough vids even of my own character to guess who will win. But Nezu has been <3 and Shonen would have a shot even if Litchi was Rachel tier.
  4. You may have to apologize to Mahouko for some images in your head :P
  5. And sweaty DDR players pouring hotsauce on Guilty Gear. Fun fact, after the 1st week it was there, I always saw GG with broken buttons make more money than KOFXII.
  6. Remember those may not be final, loc test etc. That said, unless 2c is the hardest move to hit with in the world or werewolf meter really drains fast, that last combo could be pretty deadly.
  7. Well true. I wanted to give him some idea, but notice how there's no definite solution. And Chun's gameplay changes too much between games anyway.
  8. If you need to, try basic Axl Bomber loop! Or some Slayer shenanigans. Presuming you have trouble with May's charge combos. I like how even though we have Chipp boards, his first impulse is to come here. Happy Birthday.
  9. I have to agree Hakumen kinda being a Slayer plus Axel. Axel has a strong neutral and poking game as well as counters. His counters aren't frame 1 or have as long active time in the case of 5d, and unlike Hakumen, he has strong anti-air, but not nearly as strong air to air. Like Slayer, he hits like a freight train going 100,000 MPH. And has dashes rather than running. DoT isn't Mugen....it's way better :D. The key difference I see is that Slayer has a strong game everywhere except at neutral while Neutral and zoning is one of Hakumen's strengths.
  10. Ok, the venue on tournament days opens at 12 rather than 12:30. I'll update OP. and yeah....first tournament and it was Chazz's birthday that weekend, but let's try to make it on time. Not like I'm asking 10 AM or some shit.
  11. To me Slayer has the easiest group imo. I can actually use visuals for the ones that matter. Easiest one still goes to Faust. If you can't hit that, go back to Madden.
  12. Yeah, we used all 5 TVs.
  13. Funny story about that. I actually polled everyone there for both games (naturally only people playing in each game voted for each) and in both cases, teams turned out to be the preferred format. I'm always willing to be flexible if people make their voices heard though. I'll poll again after this tournament I guess as well to see what people want. How should get to you on IRC? I've only used it for chat rooms before, do you mean being in a specific room? Nevertheless, awesome news :D
  14. Well I didn't even know he played Robo. But either way, what's hard for some people isn't hard for others I guess. Fuck I still have trouble doing proper DP motions on the 2P side, and I've been playing fighting games in arcades since I was 3.
  15. That's not guaranteed to be final though. Parry loop removal is something that probably is though, because it's removal imo states that ArcSys doesn't like it to begin with.
  16. Pay attention to the last tournament.
  17. Tao is not harder than Chipp I'd high levels I'm pretty sure. Chipp's oki game has so much possibility and technicality. j.1k cancels ug. And of course the magical nature of FRCs. Combo wise, Tao is harder from what I've seen, mostly due to having more inputs. And I doubt Robo is easier than Hakumen. I suck at links and was doing Haku's combos (probably because they're not SFIV type :P), his zoning was pretty natural and intuitive for me, and his pressure is really simple. I think with patience and meter management, Hakumen may not even be in the later half of characters when it comes to difficulty. Robo isn't very hard either I'll admit....outside of FRCs that is. Throw those in, and that pushes him over the edge of Hakumen imo. 5hs frc I have trouble in a match or even combos, so fast.
  18. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10007-Team-St1ckbug-Bi-weeklies-Brooklyn-NY-9-25-BBCS-and-GGAC
  19. Fixed. I don't need my BB messing up GG, I need my BB being a part of it.
  20. Can you move it over a week? I've had something planned 3 weeks in advance and most of the community knows about it already.
  21. Guess what? None of these changes are remotely final. Oh and new tourny thread is up.
  22. Sure, I may forget mine again.
