Yeah sure buddy. You could write an essay if you want, but a projectile/timer moving during super flash/animation is still stupid. Even danger time is better than that. And for the record, May's beach ball can still hit you before the whale, even if you were aware of it (...a totally legit mechanic).- 72 replies

Get ready for GGX Dizzy -------------------------------------- Anyway, i only hope they fix a few DUMB and annoying things like -May's beach ball keeps moving during od animations -Elph's greanade timer keeps running during od animations -yrc/od animations eating your inputs -if my opponent goes for 5D and i instinctively go for "Great Yamada" on reaction, then the stupid dust animation will somehow bypass the whale. And regarding new characters... i'm sure it will be Zappa.- 72 replies

Main Difference Between Online and Offline

Different as day and night. I can't play BB/GG online for the life of me, everything feels just so wrong and irritating, even with 3f delay. Not to mention that a lot of players develop terrible habits from online play... however there are a few who are actually good in both offline and online play (is like they have a switch to change modes :V ). @rubedo777 has a nice summary. -

Well that is your personal experience, you just haven't fought a decent Ramlethal yet. Most of them will just [set-up swords -> jump-in -> spam the same string into overhead], [drop every combo] or just [f.S -> dauro]. However Ram has all the tools to completely shut down Pot, just like I-no. Try watching some high level footage and you'll see how sad it can be for our big guy.

Less tension gain on heat knuckle->extend, less untechable time on counterhit 6H and also less dizzy build, some nerf to HPB hitbox and something about Gigantor (Sadly none of the translators care about Pot). In our sweetest dreams. But anyway, lets not turn this into an annoying cryfest like the Ramlethal subforum.

A quick google translate tells that FAB and Konsome aren't happy at all Something about less tension gain on Heat knuckle and heat extend, less untechable time and less dizzy on 6h CH, but again, gotta wait for proper translation, take it easy and keep rocking the big guy. -- Edit: got ninja'd

No. That is heat extend, heat knuckle is always techable and currently useless without extend.

No, she is ok, but far from being "pretty strong" like some players used to believe (and argue) before. Basically she is good but A/S tiers just do almost everything better than her. You can actually do charge motions while dashing by just avoiding neutral (5) *Is not useful at all since you will probably get hit most of the time before finishing your charge*.

Eh? sorry buddy but here we used to throw tech on almost every match, mostly because you already know most people's setups and can predict stuffs. Not being able to tech throws is gross .

Beginners secret top tier. Most newcomers can't handle and won't be able to handle May's dolphins and normals until they reach certain level of play. I know because back in the day i used to beat everyone just by spamming VD, HD, 6h & 3k, and i used to think i was hot shit for doing so... until i fought a couple of actual good players and had to learn how to play properly .

You are judging a character based entirely on your personal 'netplay' (most likely) experience. If i were to do that then i'd say he and May are S/A-tier only because i can easily beat most of the locals here, but guess what, they're not. Things don't work that way. The matchup is on I-no's favor, it has always been that way (almost), but is FAR from being a "lol-free-win--old-Tager-tier".

MikeZ has a lot of valid points, some others are just "wtf worthy" Yeah +R is still the superior game, no one can deny that, however, unlike him i'm supporting Xrd because i want it to get better and better (and i'm sure it will), same goes for my local scene. MikeZ can keep playing +R / #R / X or whatever for the rest of his life if he wants.

You are underestimating Pot way too much. He is far from being helpless in Xrd and i'm just under the impression that you've never seen/fight a slightly decent Pot.

Is not like Ragna already lost. In the end anyone can win because they (Screwattack) said so. Ragna could win just because of 'reasons' I just want a decent animation regarding of the ending.
