I'm going to be attending atleast two days of Anime Expo, so I'll be sure to try to ask the Aksys guys some questions. Let me know what you want me to ask, though I will be sure to ask if it's region free since I know the EU folks usually get jipped when it comes to localization. -

Meanwhile, anywhere but on Dustloop; the casual Guilty Gear fan is just generally excited for Xrd and isn't worried about it's slower pace or easier inputs. -

If anything I apologize; since I think I'm the first one who mentioned E3 though I had no idea that discussion would spiral out of control to this point. The interview to me seemed exactly what I expected a casual mainstream person would ask about GG, so that's kinda what I was hoping more publications would do. Explain the basics to people who are outside our circle and get interested in the series. Though I can understand why many of us here are upset. They did just release a trailer, which is just the Arcade Opening. Lets just hope our dustloop correspondents got some juicy tid bits for us. Also, Gamespot had a follow up article about Xrd. Nothing special, but every little bit helps. -

Sony could do a lot actually. Like I said, if Sony just showed a little bit during their major Sony Press Conference then GG will get the chance to grab everyone's attention as a next gen fighter. I doubt they will, but we'll see. In one more hour or so. Edit: Scratch that, we love Mortal Kombat more here apparently. -

Lets just hope Sony actually gives Guilty Gear some proper screen time at E3. A simple trailer or small gameplay demonstration during their presentation can do a shit load for GG's notoriety. -

A later release date just gives me more opportunity to save up money for an impulsive purchase of a PS4. Also, one last bit about the whole dubbing discussion; the main reason I see them dubbing it is that this is supposed to be a new start for Guilty Gear and "A New Era for Arc System." So I'm sure they would wish to try to appeal to as much people as possible. And while it's dumb, as many japanese purist there are, I can imagine way more people who would put off a game because it's too japanese and only has subtitles. -

Yeah, maybe I haven't heard enough of That Man enough to hear the Ragna out of his voice, but from what I've heard they sound pretty distinctive from one another. Troy Baker and Liam O'Brien, to me, their voices are way to distinctive and it's really easy to pick them out. Maybe it's just because I actually know the language and maybe That Man and Ragna would bug me as well if I knew japanese. It's like watching any dubbed anime and counting the minutes until Steven Blum shows up. -

If anything I'm not sure I would like Troy Baker and Liam O'Brien reprising as Sol and Ky. Not that they did a bad job, but I feel those two are already well established as other characters in Arc's other fighting game; Persona. -

I think comparing the jump from SFIV original cast to their expansive cast with every iteration to Xrd to console is indeed unfair to ASW, especially considering Capcom is a way bigger company with deeper wallets. I also recall Capcom once stating it takes 3 months to fully develop one character in SFIV, and that's with a huge company like Capcom. And besides, we still got E3 and several months to go. I'm guessing they're gonna have something up their sleeve. -

As a Testament player, I don't see much chance for my waifu to come back before others. Reasons such as I don't see him barring much weight on the plot, his weaker popularity compared to other cast, and most of all his fully 3D animated midriff will make everyone too Jelly to focus on playing. -
Probably the most often and fun time I use Afterburner is when fighting anyone with projectiles. Projectile invulnability son. It's pretty risky, but feels great when it works.

I concur, I very rarely notice anything marginally different when playing her. Aside from throwing in a CT wastefully now and then, it's pretty much the same deal.

I'm okay with it looking a little 3rd Strike. I was more amused by how that Slayer just spammed RCs for everything at the end. -
I've never seen a more appropriate way of describing 720s. Also wanted to come in real quick and ask is there any combo situations to use Bullet's crush trigger? I'd normally just use her meter for RC-ing, but I've been wondering if I could somehow throw in a Crush Trigger mid combo and use meter there instead. I know you can combo into if it's a Fatal Counter, but you can combo anything off of that.

Indeed it is and it actually just reached it's goal of $44k! Watson does have one stretch goal so far of getting a new sign for the front of the arcade for $52k. I believe he said he'll have more if we reach this next goal as well. Aw, but single elimination was soo popular!

The more I listen to the new Millia vs Zato theme the more I like it. Still in the Dark will always be my favorite VS theme, but this feels like a nice progression for their relationship. Longing, but conflicted.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that Mike Watson just launched his Kickstarter for rennovations for Super Arcade. If you didn't already know, Super Arcade has been in some financial turmoil for some time now and has been close to shutting down permanently several times. But with this he's hoping to restructure the place, bring in some new business models, as well as much needed revenue (and a new CLEAN bathroom, thank based gawd). Please take the time to atleast watch the video and read the pitch by the man who has provided us with the place where we've had countless hours of whacky fun grinding it out with eachother.

If that Safe Jump concept video is to be believed, it should definitely work on Hakumen's 5D. Though I'm right there with you though, I usually mess up the timing and get DP'd anyway.
