  1. I actually do not have a problem with Danger Time. I do not really see a good reason to hate it. I mean sure it sucks when your the victim in danger time. But I dont hate it.
  2. I knew that comparison was bullshit the momemt I saw the video. You cannot use fraps to look at frame rate from an incoming hdmi source. fucking newbs it will always be 60fps. you would need an in game diagnostic utility.
  3. I cannot read Japanese either, I am going purely off of Google Translate, so hopefully stability may include some kind of improvement in playability. However I have a feeling ill never be satisfied with Guilty Gear net play. I wonder if I am just biased cause I played accent core back in the day with arcade and PS2/CRT. Cause I feel like UNIEL, Persona and Blazblue play fineish online.
  4. So I wont be home till like 7:00PM CST but do you have a PS4 I would be happy to test net play. Or anyone with a PS4?
  5. Based on the wording I do not believe net play will actually get better. Seems like they are only solving dissconnects. Stability just means making it work, I wonder if it will actually translate into better net play?
  6. PSN: iR0B0T2k - those o's are Zeros. I am in Houston, I get a 4 connection with people in Austin and Dallas and Texas for the most part, I have been able to get decent netplay against Prucha/Blacksnake in Chicago. I have even had playable matches against Brkrdave in UNIEL from here to California. So no matter where you are in the US add me and we can try and see if we can Net play. Main: Sol Badguy Will I try to play other characters? Maybe, I do not know.
  7. I have a question in the scans does this piece describe the costs of the game? And if so what does it say it will cost digitally? And is there a difference between PS3/PS4 costs? http://imgur.com/skezWma I hosted the piece I am intrested in on imgur.
  8. I agree I believe tournaments will lean toward PS3 simply because of availability. I just wonder if we ever see any difference between PS4 and PS3 play. I am really curious how well or not well PS3-PS4 crossplay works on netplay. Although that will hold no bearing on tournaments. On the other hand 1080P 60FPS is pretty! And a large major may want to use that for their stream for people who can enjoy that stream quality.
  9. I have been able to get this reset on just about everyone in the arcade that sol can face. I think it works on just about everyone. And I definitely remember getting it on chipp. I am about 60% with this setup.
  10. I am having trouble connecting the j.K-D does it work on Sin? Or is this a character specific combo. I am certain I am IADing correctly but the kick wont connect, If I IAD and J.P instead it connects. EDIT: oh hJ IAD??
  11. Oh that is awesome actually I thought you were saying it would be 5PM there at first which would be 3AM here, If its 5:00AM JP time Wednesday then it would be around 3:00PM Tuesday our time. Which is awesome cause I specifically requested to work from home Tuesday and Wednesday. So I get to stay home, still get paid and play Guilty Gear XRD demo.
  12. I had a similar experience with Sol Badguy, but it was not because of how he looked really, it was his move set. specifically his super motion 632146 HS. The reason for this is my first fighting game experience was when I was really young like 9 or 10 and my older friend named Chris who was 15 at the time would take me to the local Stop & Go(gas station) and there was a Street Fighter II cabinet and a KoF cabinet, I do not remember which versions of either game, but I became obsessed with KoF when my friend show me this super that the main character in KoF could do that could make this huge fireball that did like 80% damage or something like that. 8-9 years later when I first played Guilty Gear X and played Sol and realized he had "that super" I knew I wanted to play that character, and it took off from there.
  13. How certain are you about that time? I was hoping it was going to be earlier. I do not doubt you, I just want to know how you know.
  14. I was wondering why so crippled, your response makes the most sense to me. I am still going to play the shit out of the 5% they are giving us though. I can at least try and practice sol combos.
  15. I was thinking this exact same thing. I went to NEC in 2012 cause I felt like guilty gear would get that "main game" treatment there, and thanks to St1ckbug it did, for the most part. That being said it was still in the side hall, very crowded low celings hot, and while that did not detract from the games being played or the tournament as a whole I still could not help but feel like my game was definitely a side game. So i pretty much swore off playing +r once I heard about Xrd, because I do not want to spend 300$ in air fair to go to side tournaments any more. But then I got to thinking even when the new Guilty comes out it will only get main game treatment at so many majors while EVO will be a coin flip as to what Anime game gets the Anime slot. I thought to myself very recently how awesome would it be to have a Animie Fighter Major! But looks like your ready to do something about it which I think is awesome. In terms of scale I would not call it the EVO of anime fighters while I do not want to underestimate the community the first Anime Major you throw will probably be as some sort of loss. But if a kickstarter raises enough funds you can budget the even to break even! Also I do not know this would happen right away but I would not bet on sponsors jumping on board right away, although with enough hype they might, but they would probably like to see your Anime tournament formula work first before investing in it. Either way it looks like there are several people thinking the same thing you are, "we need an anime fighter major" And with the right resources and money and people I think we can all put something together. One more thing maybe see if an experienced TO for anime fighters like St1ckbug may be able to help or give you some advice, or even join forces. And lastly, if there is a kickstarter for this or one is made later id be glad to donate a few bucks. I think you would find several people on dustloop would be willing too, but first i think you should pin down a few items related to costs, #1 venue #2 console rental #3 monitors And licenseing fees to stream the games should the devlopers require it. Or maybe they let you for free for publicity. And there is probably a lot I am not thinking of cause I have never TO'd before.
