From a commenter on Behindthevoiceactors yeah, I happened to stop by his panel by chance and he went over his line of work. He mentioned Chipp first, and how his work there landed him an agent because he had impressed Valerie Arem. He also mentioned that he trolled Kira Buckland (a Guilty Gear fan) by pretending he auditioned for the role of Chipp by mimicking the voice from the old Guilty Gear X promo video, which is notoriously known for having a poor dub.

So just found out, Chipp is actually voiced by Edward Bosco, a newcomer http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Edward-Bosco/

Some of the pre-battle descriptions were actually pretty amusing though Ragna: His swearing gives the AVGN a run for his money Gunflame: Frequently mistaken for ''Girlfriend''

I'd say it's because BB already had an english dub when it came out whereas GG was always japanese only until Xrd.

If I may be harsh, I would say anyone who thought Ragna had this was delusional. The end result was...acceptable I guess. Wasn't bad or anything but it wasn't any special; Sol and Ragna trade hits, they both go ''One Winged Angel'' and Sol kills the black beast. Fin. Though it's possible I only feel this way because it was literally EXACTLY what I expected.

That's the guy who voices Vaike in FE:A right? Now that you mention it DOES sound pretty likely it's him.

I don't recall pre-CP story routes to be much longer than a hour, so with that promised 10 extra hours I'd say there's a considerable chance of Azrael and Amane getting their story. Of course, it's just speculation. So Noel and only Noel gets another alternate costume...somehow I'm not surprised. Why not Makoto?

I'm gonna sound like a uber-scrub, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to hit Venom and his first mission. The game tells you to recover forward if you get hit once but as soon as I do that, I just get hit by another ball... And I'm playing Axl for crying out loud...

I thought that was Sol vs Ragna, not Sol vs Noel? In any case, I like Ragna better as a character but yeah, the odds are against him. But hey, DB could surprise us.

This is just a shot in the dark, but seeing how CP had a relatively solid reception last EVO, maybe the localization will be fast this time around, so that NA will get it in time for the tournament? Though I'm hoping fast won't mean rushed. I'll likely still get CPEX but this time around I'll wait for the NA version. That gives me plenty of time to conclude whether or not it's worth it for me.
