  1. Nah... it's actually one of the best combos for Kamui (after Dark and Time). It's just that it's too easy a combo to use (easiest arcana + easiest char).
  2. Not at all! Saki/Kam... yes! Not many play Lilica because she's too technical and not many play Heart because they prefer Saki or Mei-Fang. Saki, because she's easier, and Mei-Fang, because she deals more damage. Well... it's more accurate to say everyone "plays" Lilica/Saki/Kam/Mei-Fang, but they main Saki/Kam/Mei-Fang. SCRUBBIEST COMBO IN THE ENTIRE GAME!!! Hell, you can play whatever you want but if you want even the slightest challenge, avoid that combo.

  10. Wow... 1.5 hr long vids!!! No wonder they take so long to download! I've only finished downloading the first (of six I must add!).
  11. I haven't seen that many Zappas, but I know 4gotten_Kazama has some pretty insane dog combos. I still have yet to see anyone pull of anything like those!
  12. I thought this was a pretty good vid overall. Here's my thoughts: Individual character combos - Jam's combos are indeed flashy, but overall fairly simple. Good job with those combos... more diversity would be better though. - The Axl combos were very well done. Good complexity and diversity. Need to see more of those! - Johnny combos were excellent... that's all - Luv the use of Sol's air BR FRC, only don't use it too much or it gets repetitive. - I-no's combos were nice, though the whiffing CLs were... not too enticing to me. - Very nice Millia combos. I was very impressed by these. Overall vid Indeed the idea of adding "unblockable/inescapable" setups is indeed nice, but bear in mind this is a "Combo Movie". More combos, less setups. I, personally, feel that if you really want to include that many setups, the end result should be a 100% finish. Granted doing setups look nice, but if you're only ending up with about 20-25% dmg it doesn't look as nice as, say a 70% combo.

Which specials are your opponent spamming? - If BHB, use 623P counter. - If Rock-It, use 214P counter and combo off it with 6K-2S-623H-623H for knockdown - If SV, carefully place 623P to catch him in the air so you can dash in and continue the combo after the wallbounce. - If BRP, use 623P counter and continue the combo after the wallbounce. - If Gunblaze, guard and use 623S if he tries to rush in. For opponents who luv to charge-H counter, dash in and FD brake. It's very easy to punish Order-Sol once you block that because of his recovery time. So, basically, when fighting Order-Sol, counters are your best weapon. Once your opponent understands that he can't just rush in and punish it'll force him to be a little more defensive which'll give you a slight advantage.

  15. Arcana boards are dead everywhere. I'm guessing everyone's waiting for AH2 (which doesn't make sense because a console port won't be for an additional year!).

Here's one I've been thinking about for a while (don't know if it's already been said): Since Axl now has two hit pokes with good stun-time on the second hit, it'd be nice if Axl could cancel from 5P to 6K. This would make comboing off throws a lot easier as well as make him able to combo from just about ANYWHERE (sheer brokenness!).

  21. It just takes some practice. The way I do it is similar to May's dolphin loops where I quickly tap 5B-5C and input [8] at the start of 5C.
  22. Check the Arcana wiki for info on how to set up her Orna. Given how slow her 5C is, with practice, it'll get pretty easy to do. Out of personal preference, I never use Orna in her BnBs except as a combo finisher because she has better setups. So, with Saki's combos, is the issue the IADs or just Orna? There's no real shorcut to getting either down so just practice. In due time you'll see just how easy it is to do them. (I think Axl users will find Orna a pretty simple setup... guess that's why I've never really had troubles doing it)
  23. "SIDEWINDER"?!! ... ok... Yeah, Lilica's "Axe-kick" loop's not too hard with practice. I could never pull off more than one hit 'till I got used to the game system. Now, it's no harder than Heart's IAD loops (actually, Heart's IAD loops are harder!). The hard part with Lilica is setting up for the "Axe-kick" loop. I usually just HC2 the first hit of her super and go straight into it. -> By far, the easiest setup.
