  1. If you were raping everyone and felt content after 10 min, your competition wasn't that good, or you didn't let them adapt to you at all and dismissed them. And yes it was you out thinking them because they couldn't figure out how to get around your backdash cancel stuff. Playing to win is a basic fundamental thing about anything competitive. Winning feels great, especially against someone better then you. Also why are you bringing SF vs GG into this? I thought this childish notion of "GG players are better than SF" players died out. I really despise this mentality that if you use a low tier, it some how elevates you as a better player to someone using a high tier even if you lose. Why are you assuming if KBNova picked a Top tier char he would have rofl stomped everyone else? You play games for enjoyment and it just happens some enjoy the aspect of winning or playing a char that happens to be top tier. Nothing wrong with that and age shouldn't be a factor. If you want to play a lower tier because you like that char, go right ahead, but don't use that as a crutch as to why you lost... or especially how much better you are for winning with that char.
  2. It's important to me because I make it a priority to attempt it if I have the meter lol. I've must have landed over 100 combo IK already. It's just too fun.
  3. I think for GG that's usually the case. Character loyalty seems to be really prevelent in the GG series. My main was Bridget and I rocked him when he was Godlike(reload) to low tier (AC). But I can understand why people would like top tier chars. I mean in general people like to win, so when you compare Zato / Millia options to say Potemkin... which char would you enjoy playing? Someone with godlike oki pressure meterless, or a lumbering Giant that has to work to even get started? Um what I'm trying to say is that top tiers are usually up there because of their tools and options, which in turn make them generally more fun to play with. When I had a stick, I messed around with Eddie in AC, and holy shit did I feel strong as hell. It's a nice feeling to be able to put so much pressure and control two chars at once, without even using meter.
  4. Is it just me or does crossplay have frame skipping issues? I've noticed with some people i get 2-3f delay but the game feels like it's running at 30fps. There isn't much input delay, but why is the game running so choppy? While others I can get 4-5f delay, but the game runs smooth like butter, but with input delay. I haven't really tested, but it feels like the framerate goes down when I'm playing against ps3 users(I'm a ps4 player).
  5. I haven't been hit by one this past week and we're talking about over 200 matches. Generally you can kind of feel when an opponent wants to do a wakeup super by his playstyle during the match.
  6. I think people just like to complain more than before about anything. Imagine the shitstorm that would happen if Slayer had his bite loop again lol.
  7. Only insecure people get mad at women looking hot, especially if it's in a video game. Usually the only people who care are the white knights / feminist of internet, so that's why nobody cares about half naked guys with impossible body proportions.
  8. Fighting good players will allow to learn how the pace of GG works. It's the fastest way imo, but you must understand the mechanics of GG to fully learn quickly. Try to find someone whos good with decent connection and ask to run sets with you in a private room. I've had people do stuff like 30 game sets with me just to level up, and they improved a lot.
  9. No way. That outfit made her stand out and we already have a dress character(Elph). Plus if she wore a dress the whole time, we wouldn't see her awesome tail in battle as much. I feel her intro will probably be like GGX where she starts off in a dress then transforms.
  10. I could care less either way. Actually I'm going to say I like it. Just the fact that it creates more options to think about at that point, and makes using supers somewhat more useful. Plus I always laugh a little when I get hit by one and see Chipps hp bar go from full to less than half. Hellfire indeed.
  11. Not really surprised at all especially at the S tier list.
  12. I was honestly expecting Sol to do Order-Sol IK after those wings sprouted. Lackluster fight.... except for the dustloop.
  13. Jump Installing is a pain as a Chipp player without a stick(refuse to pay 150 to play gg with a stick) But it's kind of fun constantly JI your strings. Makes your hand busy and feel like your doing things fast like Chipp. Sucks when I screw it up and end up jumping, but I think its a mechanic that should stay. It's a fun quirk that I'm kind of glad it stayed.
  14. I really missed the blood effects of GG. It looked visually appealing and made moves look like it had more impact. First thing I noticed in AC was the lack of blood, instead they added stupid hit effects instead. I thought Xrd might add it back but nope. I remember hearing a story about a kid killing someone with a knife saying he was influenced by Samurai Shodown V special. So I thought they got rid of the blood because it wasn't a popular thing to have in arcades after that? But that doesn't make much sense when I think about it. Still salty that they got rid of the blood >_>. Also how SSV special never had a port with blood either after that incident lol. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA9FmpXgHtY Thats the SSVsp fatalities for those wondering how violent it was. Not much really.
  15. I actually like how Xrd is more like reload in a sense. I didn't really like how much fluff was put into AC+R. Although I think the skill cap on some chars are way too low comparatively to before. Such as Millia and some what Chipp. But eh what can you do. I'm going to guess 1 hit Ensenga won't be as difficult once Johnny comes around.
