Now that I think about it, 214X > 214C overhead wouldn't even be a mixup unless they made A/B followup a low. Maybe giving her a new followup in the form of a command grab might make things interesting, unless I'm a doo-doo head and the A and B followups are air blockable.
Honestly though if they were to do that to 214B, they'd give it like ten extra frames of startup too. :p
But it would be nice having a second standing overhead.
And I personally think it'd be neat if they made 214X > 214C into some shiny new followup move rather than just having a second button for 214X > 214B.
General stuff was pretty much what I was looking for, my trouble has mostly been coming from not knowing what to do once they get their game started besides guessing when to hit some button to get out of a string. =_=; I've really only had the game a couple months and haven't gone online much so my hands-on matchup experience is pretty lacking.
Thank you very much for the writeup! I know just keeping all this stuff in mind won't improve me instantly, but I do feel like I now have a better understanding on how to approach these two.
Hi friends. Another "newb" here. I was pretty beginner tier in CSEX, and now with the shiny new game speed and mechanics, I'm having to learn things I only kind of knew all over again! My PSN is Kais3r-R3xatron, so feel free to hit that!
