Cool thanks. In +R they should work similarly but I get the gunflame to miss on certain characters in corner after the BB, like in this combo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asgJGpYryQ8&hd=1. If I'm all the way in corner, GF seems extremely iffy on Chipp, Dizzy, Jam, Millia, I imagine that's partly due to GF getting slower since Slash/AC(?) as I recall. I'll try looping it multiple times but I dunno how worth the meter it will be.

I'm definitely going to NEC. Haven't made any ride/room/teams plans for it yet. Gonna try to make the next monthly, I need to play more actual matches in +R. Would be awesome if we could get a tournament going.

We can do a cool midscreen aithrow combo on him in +R thanks to FB SW: airthrow > 5K > fj/nj.K > FB SW > 2H > fj.S > SW > 2H > tk.8SW > 2H > BR - 133 dmg (Faust) EDIT: vid showing examples http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ku3NTmAej4&hd=1

Ok, ill check that vid out later, shame it doesn't bounce on air hit either, tho that might have been implied from the original reports anyways, since how often does 214B hit grounded as a non FC. But yeah we should still be able to do OMB stuff that didn't involve the 214B and get something decent. in reality some Japanese will probably find the best new OMB stuff before any of us get the game but regardless one of us Narukamis on here will share it. No copyrights attached!

I saw someone say 214B still bounced on air hit, can anyone confirm that? If so it could still be used for those combos. On 236D, itd be cool if there was a good setup for it that let you attempt a command grab and have the 236D connect right after the grab if they jumped/backdashed it. So all they could do to get out would be DP. Also wondering how good crossups could be with it.

Interested in who you got that to work on, I only tried CL BB > GF so far, didn't know normal hit BB would combo to GF on anybody.

"236D is chargeable. Yu can move while Persona is charging" sounds really cool. Happy they are giving that move some attention. damn, vids are gone D:

In AC you can do slightly mashed CL GV, or if you're in corner you can dash 2K/5K/c.S/2H. GF also connects if you're really deep in corner. In +R it bounces, so you can run 5K 2H jS/jH SW provided you hit close enough. From farther hit you can run f.S FB Fafnir. And in corner you can add some jD to boost damage. Should be able to 5K/c.S to 5H/2H IAD jP from farther hits too.

I don't see a command for his command grab, unless its either 236A or B version? Also cool we have a persona-less super now. Faster jD? Maybe it will be good from midscreen/higher j2A hits now.

5B never was JC on block anyways. as for the other 2 it sounds painful, but we shall see how things turn out.

Stunedge reported he has a new super, a 214B feint, and a command grab(!!!) We'll have lots of info very shortly I'm sure.

As long as you get the dash jump out soon enough, and do the j.B low enough, you'll be safe against anyone except Yosuke, Teddie, Kanji like Fistmaster said. Akihiko's is slightly faster than Yu's so maybe that's what caused you to wonder about it. Also against Naoto and Yukiko you have to do j.B lower so that only 1 hit would connect to be able to safejump their DPs, or you can just do a low j.A. You can safejump off most knockdowns, the main ones you can't are after an air hit j.2A or 214D.

This combo is funny, I bet you could get tons of damage with a Tyrant Rave end: midscreen-to-corner CH air hit 6H > CL BB > (dashing) GF FRC > CL BB > dash 2H > j.D > delay SW > bj.S > SW > 2H > BR - 291 dmg on Sol -
Alright that makes sense, thanks. Yes I will keep up with and update the first post regularly so if you post your stuff in there it will make it to the first post shortly. I was doing balls for the characters combos worked on but apparently there's a limit to how many you can use, so I'll just use their abbreviated names instead.

So Veteru you're posting a new combo thread for +R? Any reason we can't modify the one already that already exists?

This is it. It might seem dead since +R is only out on JP PSN right now, so not a lot of people have it yet. But you won't find a better collection of info on the game anywhere else. By the way, if you have more questions about general things GG things like this go ahead and post them in Beginner Mode or Guilty Room. This particular forum is for Sol discussion

Updated the first post of the video thread with all the videos posted so far, a lot more footage of some match ups that were previously lacking. EDIT: started adding combos to the first post of the combo thread, any help with confirming character specific ones, improving combos, or suggestions on format is welcome.
