Ah, this is very helpful. I was wondering why I could only get it to land off of a Jabaki against scrubs hahaha. The only time I ever get it is after they Tech the landing and snatch em on their way down. So just skip Jabaki and go right from 3C, got it. And I'll give it a shot after TK-Loop > 3C as that sounds beastly. And generally do it ASAP, alright I'll work on it. But if its ASAP after 3C I guess my "Switch from D-pad to A-stick real quick" method is gonna have to go. Shitty Xbox D-pads.. Bane of my existence. Guess it's time for some training again! And I know Houtenjin is the more popular of the 2 Distortions, but boy oh boy, is Mizuchi so fun to watch. And that's about the only thing making my infinite runs of Abyss so fun LOL. Thanks man.

So, I've finally got the input down to a science, 632146 always gave me trouble, but now I just quickly switch over to the analog stick and I'm getting it 100% of the time. My question is when is the best time to do it, after say, a Jakou or 3c > Jabakai? Should I try and input it right before they hit the ground, right as they hit the ground or right after they hit the ground? I always seem to miss it due to the opponent Teching since it's so hard for me to keep it in a Red Combo, so it's very frustrating. Any tips? Also, I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this, as all the other "Archive" threads are locked, and the non "Archive" threads are all for CP, so if it's wrong, feel free to move it where it should be.

HOLY JESUS! I'm saved at 998, and I'm getting beaten up by Unlimited Mu. WTF with 11k damage supers. How in the fuck am I supposed to beat her?? I never came across the anti-distortion shit. I have Regeneration Lvl. 2 Victory Rush Lvl.2 and AI Reduce Lvl. 1. I do not see this even being possible.... What should I do to beat this bitch. And It took me forever to get there so fuck starting over. HELP.

I just noticed that they had the following set ups: P - X K - Square S - Triangle H - R1 D - R2 So I guess it makes perfect sense if they were using the Type A layout from that link haha. Thanks for the link!

Hey guys, I was just watching the stream of Guilty Gear, and I noticed that the two current players seem to be using a slightly different set up than default. P K and S are the same, but H seems to be set to R1 as opposed to O. Is that a normal controller set up that most of you guys use? Or are they just unique with their setups? I'm assuming they're using controllers, but it might be sticks, I couldn't say for sure.

Finally got past him hahah. But now I'm doing the 999 run. And I was wondering. Do you have to get all of those shitty items before better ones start showing up? I'm just seeing the same ones that I don't want cycle through over and over. I know I'll need them eventually for the 100% but I don't want to give useful stuff up unless I have to. Do I just have to wait till low levels? Oh, and by "get them" I mean acquire them at least once so they aren't "new" anymore.

Oh nice, Unlimited is one of the upgrades you can pick up? That sounds promising. I usually only grab the heath regenerating ones. And also I refuse to buy shit at the start, seems like a waste of the money so I start 0000 no upgrades. And I don't have every single thing unlocked in the gallery yet. I'm only at level 16 and I have everything up to that point though. I only have like 2 or 3 more quick Arcade runs to get the last couple Arcade CGs, other than that I have every last thing. I need a complete gallery hahaha. I'm thinking you might get something from beating Abyss? I know there are a couple that don't have a level on them so I need to do something special to get them.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll just have to practice practice practice against Unlimited Hakumen on Hell mode. His shit is just bonkers though, doing his TK overhead move, taking 35% of my health in one swoop. There is no way his stats are legit. And I'll have to keep the Stance~B in mind but I'm not sure how effective it'll be. I use it as anti-air against sloppy air dash happy opponents, but Hazamas range is awful when you subtract his Drive. And Hakumen is just... Well 3/4 screen pokes with obscene damage should sum that shit up hahah. It's just so mind numbing, and kind of discouraging. Oh, and I wasn't aware that saving during Abyss mode was even possible?

Hey guys, I've been playing Abyss mode as I find it quite entertaining. I know I still have light years to go before being as good as I want to be, but I've been doing alright. Perfects probably 70% of the time. But I've hit a road block at level 400. Unlimited Hakuman. I've played all the way up to him twice (68 victories leading to him each time) but he just shit stomps me. Now, I like playing the game but this shit is retarded. I play almost 70 matches consecutively to be raped and get a GAME OVER. Fuck. Anyone have any tips to keep me from smashing my face through the TV? I'm using Hazama, if that matters.
