Just by reading this and you claiming you are as good as any other is clearly not the case. vs Ky 6H you got backdash, BDJC, BDC bite and blitz. Obviously you have to reversal backdash and that has been the same since the dawn of GG to beat meatys. And the input buffer is 2F in Xrd. If you fail it's just that you suck plain and simple. If you can't even do it against a meaty Elph 5K with 4F active then maybe it's time to uninstall Xrd instead. There are vids of me playing and beating Loulaim and we play quite even.

It's on my YT channel but w/e From what you are writing I'd assume you are not as good as anyone else playing Slayer tbh and last I checked both Hase and F Driver has 'ranks' that I assume is referred to as 26 Dan and above on the arcade ranking.

I've had win streaks against Goga without having to quit life. If I hop online and don't play any really noteable names in EU online I usally only lose a handful matches during a whole evening.

I can only speak for myself but I'm almost always having a blast playing Slayer and would not want to play any other character in Xrd Sign or Revelator. I don't have any sub characters and only use other characters when recording in training mode. I just have too much fun playing Slayer every single time and that is drug and alcohol free.

Maybe you should try your hand at Elphelt. All of Xrd Slayer is a struggle so if you couldn't handle AC+R might as well go for ezpz S tier right away.

Thanks for compiling Robo. I was thinking about doing it myself but I got way too much on my plate already in life. On a different note does anyone know if/where Tanabata is playing? I really want to see footage of him and you rarely get to see him play on stream at Mikado. Dno if he's there and just not playing on that station. I want to see all that tech in action :D

6K Mortal Counter, IK? Doesn't work. Sad face. BUT Danger time 100% meter and opponent in corner... xx, 236K, RRC, 632146P MC, IK Random Mappa MC, IK also works. Needs more IK :D

Shouldn't the combos I posted for IAD j.SK also be applicable for this starter? If so there are better variations for most. If you can do it for both wiff/block on UP it's quite valuable since once you get people scared enough K dandy is actually available in corner pressure.

BDC Air throw is so that you get the 6F invul and hopefully you will use them to not get hit out of pre-jump frames so you get airborne and can airgrab extended hitbox from air normals. I find BDJC air throw quite difficult. I try to use it when Sol players use safe jump oki to low air dash j.PPPPPPP butclearly I'm no Ogawa that even throws that without any invul. Undertow is a gimmick move. It's unblockable but due to huge startup it has no value outside of RRC and even then it's not guaranteed. For example if your opponent has ~5% HP left you can 236K, RRC, Undertow on block and they only get a small window to do anything besides DAA/burst. So you can steal wins that way. It's possible to both backdash and Blitz but due to RRC the timing is difficult. If you got 100% meter you can do 236K, RRC, Undertow, RRC, 214KP, 5H, 2H, c.S, air combo. It's a nice thing to know about and it got better uses if you can crank upp RISC guage so you can combo with only 50% meter. But in the end it's just a gimmick.

As Sey already pointed out air throw is your best friend here. Due to the angle of all of Zatos air normals except j.D he even beats 6P. The variation in timing from Zato makes the risk/reward kinda iffy. Obviously don't throw 6P out the window but it's not that good in this particular situation. 2S is imo better but it's still not good. You can even attempt 6H but requires some nice spacing and you will probably get beaten most of the time anyway. BDC P Dandy CWH is quite nice though. But also requires you to be more on point. Check it out at least I try to dash forward/backward and chill most of the time and try to catch Zatos coming down to the ground a lot of the times. Fly = sodium inducing like hell

I didn't think of Footloose. I'll edit this post with updated results. Booting up PS3 again :D Just a few characters so should be fairly quick to test. Also corner 6P -> c.S, f.S, j.SHD, dj.PSHD2K, j.PD works on almost everyone. If not you can go with c.S, f.S, j.SHD2K, j.K, dj.SHD (Like EL cause she wasn't broke enough without a bad hitbox) Didn't mean to hate on it or anything I was just thinking I was missing something since there was way better combos *EDIT* Tried on all characters that j.D2K was able to hit and FL doesn't connect on anyone. Midscreen or corner. You are WAY too high. j.S would most likely be the best bet but too far off and all characters it works on except AX has quite horizontal hitbox in the air and cause problems as it already is.

c.S j.2KD - ZA, didn¨t get anything to hit after not even j.D. Need to be absolutely point blank for it to even work and 1hit confirming c.S is kinda impossible. Obviously for punish when 5H is not possible if you are quick about your wits and get something going. It MIGHT be possible with a super specific probably 1F timing to get j.S, dj.SHD going but I'm not going to spend hours testing. c.S, j.D2K, j.D - PO, 98dmg vs 93dmg c.S, f.S, c.S, 2D. Hammerfall punish if you are not confident in 5H I'd guess. c.S, (f.S), j.D2K, j.D - AX, 133dmg vs 105dmg. Doesn't work in the corner. Second j.D seems to be hitting offscreen. Can't straight jump since first j.D will wiff instead. c.S, (f.S,) j.D2K - V, Seems like Zato except you can do c.S f.S so doesn't need to be point blank. Didn't get anything to hit. c.S, (f.S), j.D2K, j.D - SL, 122dmg vs 97dmg. Same as AX doesn't work in the corner. So in my conclusion it's max dmg vs standing SL and AX if you can confirm standing 2hit wich should be np since I do it for DHD all the time at least. But only midscreen but same goes for DHD :D

Am I missing something or whats up with that awful 6P corner combo? I thought the c.S, f.S, j.D2K was only possible on Slayer. Guess I need to hit the lab... I will post a full list when it's done I guess

Poeple know they need to respect Slayer but a lot of people can gauge if they need to respect you. Unless you are bustin' out the heavy stuffs all the time people are going to keep abare/disrespecting you. For situations like these my approach is UP wiff IL oki almost all the god damn time. Just do it meaty and it doesn't even matter if they IB it you still get a free frame trap. Don't go for fancy stuff. Stick to the basics to deal with basic people. Know your frames. If you get c.S, f.S och block you are +6 on normal block. What you do after f.S can break people easily. 2H -> kills all low mash, 6P -> beats like half the games moves :D 5H excellent frame trap and you can buffer to P Dandy PB and react on normal/CH hit and RRC if you got the meter in the corner or you can 5H IAD 2K/5K excellent faster frame trap. Note that frame perfect f.S, 2K is an actual true blockstring. IAD options available here as well. whatevs into Mappa. This is a tricky situation that you really have to gauge your opponent. Start of by doing c.S, f.S unless they FD since you will get f.S and that sucks with 13F startup. If you are unable to confirm this go with 2K instead. If you are getting CH'd find out the startup of their move and you'll know if you are slow pressing c.S after Mappa or if they will beat you. You also got BDC Dandy and BDC Mappa after Mappa on hit/block as well as BDCJ IAD. There's just a plethora of things and Slayer can basically cover any situation at any given time it just comes down to experience and your guessing game/yomi.

If people backdashing is eating you up use 6P in corner (but vs May it's tricky) and for bidscreen use UP wiff, froward dash crossup. You hit some people on their airborne frames so you get full air combo. Obivously you can't spam this since it's vulnerable to getting thrown instead but yeah. That's Slayer. High risk high reward. Also UP delay IL catch people in their backdashes but then you get opened up for abare. Gotta scare and condition people and when you got the room to breathe as Slayer you are pretty free to do whatever you want

If you are playing a dummy I could see those tactics work but empty dandy + full startup of Mappa in someones face without getting hit/thrown? Gotta have some mad respect for that. Seen you hype up 6K so I did some labbing with it thinking it might serve a greater purpose in my repertoire but alas it didn't make the cut to replace my UP wiff oki. Mostly because of the standing CH if people attempt to throw that kinda f'ck things up in the corner for certain characters. However in the corner I feel it's very valuable for ~150dmg meterless from an overhead starter. "Point blank" raw 6K, 2PSH works on Venom and May. No need to setup anything just do it. UP wiff after 2D/j.D sets up everything you will ever need (imo). UP wiff -> IL = beats throws. I always use IL to check and condition people a lot in the start. After they just stand and block the rest of the game opens up. UP wiff -> 2K, c.S, 2D UP wiff -> 2K, c.S, j.D, DHD... works on SO, KY, LE, RA, BE, ZA, PO UP wiff -> 2K, c.S, f.S, 5K, 236K, RRC, kCWH, <insert optimized character specific combo by Fogelstrom page earlier> UP wiff -> dash through c.S/throw UP wiff -> 6P versus abare and some specific supers like Tyrant Rave, Ultimate Whiner, DoT and more. UP wiff -> BDC Dandy UP wiff -> BD/block to bait reversals

With F Driver having +80% winrate and up on rank 26 I only assumed he had some sick play and not dropping combos and confirms left and right wasting meter on BDC YRC over backdash YRC that actually has full invul rather than only strike. At least I got peace of mind that I'm not missing out on beast play. But I guess the level is so much lower than at Mikado that makes it possible.

That is quite an understatement. I haven't checked the data but 6P in the corner you can just forget about. Need to do adjust the timing a lot too catch her. But it has 9F startup... if a player decides they wanna mash 5K between UP and IL on the off-chance you're going to use UP, 2K instead sure let them get blown up by 300dmg each time. I'd love that :)

After doing DAA you can FDJC j.H and it's safejump. That is you just cancel the initial forward dash to get the momentum and you land perfectly on people. The only safejump I ever use. If I think they are going to dp I just do UP wiff BDC P Dandy so I retain UP wiff oki as standard mixup. Else I personally think it's easy to spot when you are doing something else once you've safe jumped 1 shoryu.
