  1. Did a-cho post any videos of the 4v4 everyone vs. N-O tournament? And if so, could someone upload that file please (or link me to the video on YouTube/Nico)? Thanks!
  2. From a while ago. I believe it was the a-cho SBO qualifiers (this was originally posted July 13). I was out of town that week and they took the videos down hella fast. Can someone help me (and RoBoBOBR and BioLogIn) maintain a complete a-cho collection? Thanks!
  3. There does not exist a lagless converter either for PS2 -> 360 or 360 -> PS2. EDIT: I just saw this on SRK Max Shooter by Mayflash: This is the best option for using a custom stick on your 360. It works great with Sony controllers. Be certain that you can tell it apart from the XFPS because eBay sellers often label these incorrectly. Unfortunately it has issues with the HRAP 2. Compatible with: PS1 Digital, PS1 DS, PS2 DS, HRAP 1, SFAC 3.5V, SFAC Pad, Saturn PS2 pad, Namco PS1 Incompatible with: HRAP 2, SFAC 8V Review: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=189236
  4. a-cho is taking down their stuff hella fast these days
  5. Wow and I thought there would never be another Slayer to impress me as much as Niga did
  6. Weird. I don't have my PS2 with me so I can't test anything, but do you mean that throws actually do more than normal damage (i.e., more than what's listed in the frame data) when done at high guard bar or that they do less than normal damage at neutral guard bar? As for May's super, the frame data lists the damage as 110. Which character did you test it on?
  7. Not true. A guard bar above zero does not increase the damage of attacks. It only prevents their damage from being reduced until the guard bar goes below neutral. That's why combos do more damage when the opponent's guard bar is high.
  8. I didn't see these posted June 4th Mikado 3-on-3 tournament (includes mike, Ogawa, ABEGEN, Kazuki, 0, and others) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7249615 - part 1 (links to other 9 parts are in the video description)
  9. My friend was confused for a long time why he never had time to charge after hitting with 2D...the key is to know that you're canceling 2D into the charge (charge is a special move just like any other special move), not waiting for the 2D to end and then charging. Sorry if that sounds obvious, but my friend was unaware of that for a long time, so...
  10. 676 IADs seem to only work with characters whose jump start-up is 3F. I've never been able to do it with a character whose jump is slower than that. Also, it does seem to allow for faster and lower IADs than 956, but that's probably because you don't have to wait for the stick to return to neutral.
  11. I've never seen anyone do IAD 236K, but do you mean IAD 623K, or perhaps IAD 214K? The former is good as a cross-up and the latter can start combos.
  12. You can throw people when they're staggered. e.g., close range Slayer 5H xx bite
  13. Link the 6P after the first part of the 6H. It's not a cancel. Just learn the timing.
  14. Eddie has pretty much been unanimously considered number one since the game came out.
  15. You have to get them slightly out of the corner before you can cross them up. That's what the last 2H is for. Edit: unless your problem is that your choujin is popping you up in the air. You have to do the choujin immediately after you air dash in order to fall down.
  16. I don't think the point is to stuff VV. It's just that 2P recovers so quickly, you can block before VV hits you.
  17. Someone else posted this a while back, but the easiest way I have found is to watch Slayer's legs. The cancel window for 2K is when his legs are fully extended, right before he pulls them back. 2K 2H is a 2-frame window, so it's one of his harder links (technically a late gatling but it feels like a link). Also, 2S 2H is a late gatling but it doesn't combo on normal hit. The 2S has to hit late. On crouching hit, I believe there's a 1-frame window for it to combo.
  18. I believe you can only cancel normals (unless there's a special exception listed) during hitstop or the remainder of your active frames. Once you reach the recovery phase of your normal, you can't cancel it anymore.
  19. Whatever happened to Niga anyway?
  20. What other options do you have from mid-screen? Besides Mappa, of course.
  21. Only the 1337357 Slayers can pull off that last one.
  22. Regarding PB loops: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showpost.php?p=271488&postcount=166 That's pretty much everything I have figured out from personal experience, but I don't want to claim that it's 100% correct or comprehensive. Also, OTG hits do 25% of the attack's normal damage. I'm pretty sure they prorate too, so go for OTG hits only when you're in a situation where you need to take off just a few more pixels of health. Niga won 2 matches in SBO last year with OTG BBU. I'm seen another video where a Millia won by mashing OTG 5K (that was pretty amusing).
  23. It will fit.
  24. Why wouldn't you post it? I recently started playing Jam a little bit, and I enjoy reading this thread occasionally.
