  1. I don't have any offline FG friends in the area, save an asian one, so there's no way I could be either him or one of his friends, haha. I was super into BB from CT to CSII as well but there wasn't anybody around back then, I only do what I can. Well, if you're ever in the area let me know, maybe we can get something to work out.
  2. Thank you for this - it's allowed me to check many things I've wondered about since cpex hit. I was able to gather a lot of information using it. Furthermore it's incredible you made it so quickly. Unfortunately, I've noticed it no longer works - checking the update history it would seem the steam version of the game was updated on the 18th, and I suspect that may have caused the issue. The program launches fine, but throws an unhandled exception when either the Frame Advantage or Startup radio button is selected. Previously it would work as intended in training mode. Do you have any plans on updating it to accomodate the patch? Even if not, I greatly appreciate the work you've done thus far.
  3. Looks great - I'll give this a full read later but this seems to build a solid foundation of understanding for those new to the character. The only thing that jumped out at me is that I'd add that they can act parser not only after any drive move but also 6C in the "Teleporting and when to use it " section.
  4. Sorry for necroing but both, actually. I don't play Xrd much, mostly BB.
  5. Thanks for the extremely detailed reply - to be honest, I wasn't expecting even a single answer to this thread. Sorry to keep your curse going though. I'll see if I can track down that FB group, seems like that's used as a spot for meetups mostly these days. Allentown I'd definitely be willing to travel to on occasion - it's about a 90 minute drive from where I am which isn't too bad at all. Capcom fighters are cool, I'm just not any good at them - could be fun though! Which GG we talking also, +R or Xrd? Again, thanks for responding.
  6. Yes, Luminous has a fast (D~C) version, normal version, and hold version [D], just like spike chaser.
  7. There's probably no hope, but I have to try, right? Anyone in Norheast PA interested in offline FG's? Most specifically Blazblue. I'd be willing to host something if it doesn't already exist. Any of you out there?
  8. Thanks for responding SoulGuitarist. Interesting to know there was a cool gamelounge in Glenside you guys used to hang out in. I play Xrd a little but my main game is BB. Maybe we could netplay Xrd sometime though. Would be cool! Going to do a shout-out topic to see if there is anyone at all in my area interested in playing a little closer to home, as well.
  9. Luminous does not at all hold the same function as spike chaser and without spike chaser we lose a reliable way to catch rolls or have even mediocre oki, unfortunately. That said, Nu does look fine. I'm curious to see whether luminous actually adds anything to the character other than give opponents a reason to block longer, i.e. CP 2.0 Mu in general. The good news is that it gives Nu a reliable setplay tool, something she was severely lacking previously. I won't know how useful it is until I have a chance to play myself.
  10. Do you guys still play regularly? I'm from the wilkes-barre/scranton area looking for people to play Blazblue against offline or just get involved with other people that play BB in general. It's lonely up here in the FG department!
  11. It's nice that it can be cancelled into (214D~C - 214A), Can 214D be cancelled out of into other moves as gravity seed could, as well? (i.e. 214A -5C etc.) We might not have that sort of information yet but nonetheless, good to note.
  12. Ah, I see. There were a few of us that weren't sure it was 236D or 236[D] as well. Well, that clears that bit up at least.
  13. Has anyone viewed the following gameplay footage of the closed loketest, just posted today? https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=92&v=jOlT9BS5FMc I believe SKD might have errored. If you skip to about 9:05 you'll see Nu using 236D~C which does indeed only stagger now. However, if you take note at about 9:21 you'll see a grounded 236D floor the opponent (In addition, there are at least one or two additional examples where 236[D] functions as it does in CPEX). While its hard to tell perhaps it could be argued that the space it creates "Isn't as much" as it is in CPEX but that's definitely not a stagger - it's creating space much like it does today. I believe SKD might have been confusing 236D~C with 236D, as the latter seems to be untouched based on the above footage. Thoughts on that?
  14. If it has the ability to be followed up a-la CT Rachel's 5C, it may have other utility - especially if 236[D] functions as it does now.
  15. SKD has posted his impressions of all the characters based on the recently held closed loketest. Although he prefaces it with "Everyone not name Izayoi I only have a general idea", if his opinion is anything to go by, it's not looking good. See for yourself (Nu is all the way on the bottom). As expected, with loss of spike chaser space control is down. Apparently combo rate is also down, sickle storm only staggers now (Not necessarily bad), and j.2D's angle is much steeper. http://www.teamstickbug.com/2015/08/26/skds-closed-loketest-bbcf-info-and-impressions-writeup/
