  1. This is probably the wrong place for this question but do you have to be a mod to make a thread? Cause I think it'd be cool if we had an Akihiko critique thread. We could help each other improve our game even more so one day we can all be World Boxing Champs.
  2. My money is on Sol. He's just an overall stronger character in comparison to Ragna. Sure Rags ol' boy has got the Black Beast going for him, but Sol has got his Gear form. We even got a good look at him going "all-out" in Overture and Sol even stated that he has a form far higher than that. Sure Ragna doubles as slight comic-relief and Sol just hates everybody, but come on, Sol's kind of a genius. He made the Nox Nyctores of the GG universe sooo there's that as well. But in the end, we'll all see the final result when DB posts the match.
  3. The addition of Gravity usage in cyclone is a great one, makes timing moves a bit more easier. I don't see why they had to INCREASE proration on corkscrew when starting combos. Mid combo I can see but corkscrew starter was already pointless. Ouch

  5. Do we have anti-air 2S combos? Yes it's hard to pull off in a match because no invulnerability but I don't wanna give up on the move yet. Or what about 6P? Anything? I wanna instill fear in my enemies to keep them from jumping and I already did that in the corner with 6HS confirms.
  6. I found a corner Dust combo doods. Lemme know what you think. 5D (6) > 5S > 6HS > P - Dandy > CWH > 5K > j.S > j.H > j.D > j.2K > j.P > j.K > djc > j.K > j.D It's weird cause I started out using K-Dandy CWH and that would make the combo drop. So I omitted the 5S but doing that made the j.S > j.H really finicky. I tried P-Dandy CWH and the combo hits pretty consistently. Now if you'll excuse me I'll reminisce about the days of Force Breaks and BBU violence.
  7. I really want to put some of my Slayer matches on here but alas, I do not have the proper recording equipment.
  8. 5AAAAAA > 4A > 8A > 2C Basic Auto Combo Silence Ender 5AAAAAA > 8A > 4B > 8B > 4D > 2C Does not work on everybody 5AA > 2B > 5B(1) > Kill Rush B > 4B > 8B > Double Uppercut > 5B > j.B > 2AAAAAA > 6B Basic combo on crouching Double Uppercut [Counter] > 66 > 2AA > j.A > j.B > 2AAAAAA > 6B Double Uppercut Counter starter Corner Air Grab > 2A > Kill Rush A > 8B > [DELAY] 4B > 4C > 4A > 6B > 214C > 6B If anybody can find something better then please lemme know Near Corner: 2B [Counter Anti-Air] > j.B > 5B > j.B > 5B > j.B > 2A > Kill Rush A > 8B > 4B > 4C > 6B > 214C > 6B Nearly 4k damage from this one. I've seen people like Barzorx and Domi use this gem That's about all I got. This thread is going to become a beautiful thing Edit: OMIT the 5B > j.B on the crouching combo. It doesn't work
  9. I have a friend who mains Elizabeth and we constantly go at it for a few matches before switching characters. What do you guys think about the Aki v Lizzy matchup? I find that although Aki can take her out via extensive damage and pressure, he has a very hard time finding a way in due to Thanatos offense and Elizabeth having slightly longer range on her normals. Also, her j.B is an evil, evil move. I also constantly find myself doing cyclone pressure on her in the corner only to be Ghastly Wailed and have the tables turned on me. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Air Hit Meterless Fatal comin' at you: 5B (Fatal Air-Hit) > j.B > 5B > 236C > DP > 2A5AA > 214C > 8B > 214C > 236C >8A > 4B > 236C > 4A > 236C > DP > 5B > j.B > 2A5AAAAA > Corkscrew B DMG: 5113 If you're up for using meter, then just input Corkscrew B after 4A for a super opportunity. If you go for that then it'll be a little over 6000 DMG
  11. I tested the 2C > level 5 236236B and it works. The trick is to have it come out as soon as he gets slammed. Like near instantly. Heck, I still find myself messing it up and getting punished to Hell.
  12. Props to you Effenhoog! I'll be using these for sure to improve my Aki game dude. For the AoA D Fatal ender - you can start it off with j.B > 5B and continue the combo normally.
  13. I was in the lab revamping some of my vanilla fatal combos when I came up with this. Tell me what you guys think: 5B > 5C > OMB > 236C > 4B > 4D > 8B > 4D > 6C > B+D > 5B > 2B > j.B (One hit) > j.214.B > 6C > 4A > 6A > 236236B > 236236A+B. Does a little over 8k dmg. I feel it should do more since you're sacrificing a burst.
  14. Whoops my fault. Yeah that 2A is a 4A, I'm sorry.
  15. Challenge 25, eh? Well here it is if you wanna know: LvL.5 4A+B > 8A+B > 4 > 8B > 5C > OMB > 5C > 2A > 5B > 2B > j.B (One hit) > j.214B > 6C > 2A > 6A> 236236Bx2
  16. He mentioned the main BnB so I think I goes like this: 5B - 2B - 5CC - 214C (Hold C) - 6C - j.236B - j.214A - 214B (Hold B and 4) - 22 (Fast Fall as I call it) - 2C (HIT1) - 623A - j.6C I see what he's talking about. The j.214A after the j.236B is tricky to hit sometimes. But after a while I began to hit it more. The In-Birth wiki usually says to hold 4 after 214B but when you do that, hitting the 2C after the fast fall is harder in my opinion. I dunno, probably cause I have to press multiple directions quite quickly. Seth's execution is challenging, fun but challenging.
  17. Hi there. My and my friend recently got Under Night In Birth. We've been playing each other constantly for the past week. He mains Chaos and I play Seth (which would explain why I am in this thread). So, since this is a matchup thread, I wish to know about other people's experience with the Seth v Chaos matchup. I feel it is rather difficult for Seth should he ever get put at more than a half-screen's distance from Chaos. The lock-down possibility he has with Azhi is very crucial in the matchup and puts Seth at a disadvantage. Sure he can attempt to get in the air since Chaos's anti-air game seems to be bleh, but then when I do attempt to do so, he knocks me out of the skies with Azhi's 623B and then proceeds to get a small confirm off of it. It would seem that Seth's best bet in this matchup is to get in Chaos's face a make a string of really good reads. Especially since Chaos has 236C which gives Chaos a REALLY easy confirm into some pretty high damage on Seth. But that's just my experience, what do you guys think?
  18. There's something that has been bothering me lately. I've been reading around, and it's been obviously confirmed that corkscrew now sends the enemy flying backwards. But yet I have also noticed that in match videos, the enemy sometimes gets sent forwards. Is it only when the Cyclone gauge is at a high enough level that they'll get sent backwards or does it depend on whether or not the A or B version is used?
