This has only happened once, but someone did absolutely at the start of the round or when they were selecting their character, leading me to believe they had gone AFK. After jumping back and waiting a bit to confirm that they were, in fact, AFK, I proceeded to walk up to them and 6A, (Using Azrael) after which I would go to the corner of the screen and wait for them to return. ... But then I got 5D'd (Nu) into a full combo. What an annoying way to waste my time and piss me off.

GGs to Apoca, I still need to get my 5B-2C-3/6D links down. And I apparently can't count to 6, 'cause I keep screwing up my Valiant combos.

Jabaku Fuuenjin is used at the end of long combos, mainly after 236D to tag on some extra damage. Jarin Renshouga is used in shorter, midscreen combos, as you can't use it in the corner. It's often used after a 22C or 6D.

TL/DR: People dislike certain characters for various reasons.

Maybe ´´invincibility`` was the wrong word. I was refering to how most of them dodged some kind of attack, like how 6D shrinks her hitbox and 2D lifts it.

Hey, I'm just throwing out ideas. That trick's worked wonders for me on many occasions, so I just figured someone else might take advantage of it too. It obviously won't work if your opponent reads it.

I just hate the fact that she can cancel a whiffed D attack into another attack. That, and the absurd amount of invincibility her D attacks have.

Perhaps some more metagame stuff? EG: What moves are good for fake-outs or tricking the opponent to act a certain way, like using a move that's sort of unsafe (-4 or so) and follow it up with a reversal. (Amane using 236C and then doing 632146C to abuse the invincibility) I use that kind of trick pretty often.

Extend is definitely a lot slower. When I tried it out, I was failing even my most basic combos because I was just pressing buttons too quickly. On the plus side, IAD's worked 100% of the time.

I'd be very surprised if you could, since I never told you. It happened on Ranked Match. Some guy disconnected as soon as the first round began because he wanted to answer his phone.

On the subject of someone going AFK: 5A, back off, wait for them to return.

But everyone and their mother was asking for her! A humongous portion of the fanbase had been waiting for her to be released for years! Why would they think she wouldn't sell incredibly well already? And if that was their plan, why wouldn't they do the same with Terumi or Kagura?

You mean Terumi and Kokonoe, right? You should be able to find them on the PS Store page. I got Kokonoe that way, and I'm assuming that's where you'll find Terumi as well. Or just use the PS Store option in the game itself. That will take you straight to the DLC page.

I just fought a Koko on ranked who was pretty bad at the whole ´´blocking`` thing. Didn't get the PSN though. Think it might've been the same guy? Coincidentally, I Astral'd him/her as well, after a (near) perfect 2nd round.

You do get meter for IB'ing. (3 per block, I believe) Dead Angles are called Counter Assaults and deal no damage. I don't believe that the block switching trick works in BB. (It works when blocking cross-ups, though that's pretty much a given) Also, IB'ing in general is pretty risky. If the opponent notices it - and he/she will - he/she can just delay the timing of an attack a bit and get a free combo. EDIT: Ninja'd.

Add scrubby Ragna players who do nothing but 5B-5C-5D-stuff to my list of pet peeves. I can't help but expect SOMETHING different the 97th time he goes at me. ´´Surely he won't go for a meaty a third time? It didn't work the last two times.`` ´´Surely he won't go for a meaty an eight time? It only worked once out of 7 times.`` ´´Did he seriously just go for a meaty for the eleventh time in a row!? Oh God, I remember when I got into this series for the first time. All I did was use 5A-5B-5C-5D with Ragna. I would occasionally use Hell's Fang and Gauntlet Hades, but canceling and such never crossed my mind back then.
