  2. 2D > 214HS fish oki leads to empty jump 2K or late airdash j.K > filler combo back into 2D > 214HS. It's really good against DPs too. Mixup it with 2D > 214D fish oki for tick throw setups. If you don't have enough time for oki, use 236K YRC, it's less strong, but still gives the same high/low mixup, but no reversal protection. The bubble hitbox looks smaller than +R.

Hello fellow May players, here is a new fuzzy guard setup in the corner (didn't test midscreen correctly yet): First you need a 2D > P Dolphin Summon oki then... dash jump > ]P[ > j.S > j.D (fuzzy high) > jumpcancel > late j.S > j.HS > land > j.K > j.HS > Ensenga or dash jump > ]P[ > j.S > 2K(low) > 2D > P Dolphin Summon The timing is pretty strict. Does not work on May, Faust, Elphelt and Chipp due to their standing hurtboxes. Enjoy mixing people up! Edit: Well actually it works on May and Faust, but the timing is even harder. It also works midscreen but you need to j.D > Ensenga > RC for a full combo. A way to counter this setup to use FD: the pushback makes j.D whiff. If you see them going for FD on the j.S, either go low, or go for j.D whiff PRC or YRC shenanigans.

  6. I think it's the kind of MU where you need to save your tension for defensive options. Just abuse DAA. If you're knocked down into the corner with the 2 sword set, it's litterally impossible to get out without meter, and the pressure reset is overwhelming and really nasty. I have the feeling the only way to summon in neutral is to spend on YRC. The only good thing is that she can only use her reversal with 50 tension, so at every knockdown we get, we have to capitalize on oki/mixups and go ham.

  8. I think the change is really a cool addition because you can do some random pressure more easily with Hoop oki now. Like 5K > 5HS > SHD > Dolphin Hop > Air dash > Air to ground etc... Before you couldn't do SHD because having to hold P or K and hitting another button while charging back would just activate FD. So I would love to try stuff with the new input!
  9. I guess yes, so you have to use PSH to RRC. I hope most of these changes will stay, as it was only the first locktest, so we don't know if it will be definitive or not.
  10. HS Horizontal Dolphin YRC is so cool. Recently I recently have quiet a lot of succes using this P Hoop oki mixup: ]P[ > 2K > 2D or ]P[ > OHK. It's really dirty and DP safe. You can even cross-up or not cross-up the ]P[ using a well timed dash jump into j.2HS if there are no reversal threats. That's 4 mixup!
  11. That 6H > P hoop enders allow a pretty legit high/low corner mixup, that's nice! Time to practice thoses sweet IAD links after HSHD. I'm wondering if it's possible after an air combo (ensenga?) to hit OTG like this: 2D > P hoop and to go for the same mixup in the corner. I think it's much less tight, so it doesn't work. For the midscreen one with the whiff/not whiff j.S is really amazing, that's so smart! Thanks for the help!

  13. What are your go to block strings, general mixup, and oki setups? I'm kinda lost and end up almost using the same 2 things, like : (1) 2K > 2D > P Hoop or SHD (2) 2K > 5D (lol) (3) j.HS > (1) or (2) After scoring a knockdown, I usually go for 6k meaty against no reversals, or P hoop meaty if there are reversals, but keeping a P Hoop is pretty rare for me... Also are there any OHK thick throw setup that can beat less than 5 frames mashing (Sol 5k, 5p in generals, etc)? I think 2P > 2P > OHK is too messy.

  20. Hello All <3, I'm also a relatively new european Bullet player, I played her since the launch on the japanese psn, but I'm not really good with her. I understand her basic BnB, RC double heat level up combos and DD corner combos > 6A > 236[A] > 6C > crossunder, but I still lack confidence in pressuring opponents. I never though about 236A for oki after a sucessful drive. Is a single backdash enough to make most DP whiff? I'm not sure (lol Jin). What I did was usually try to meaty 2B or j.C after [D] > 4 cancel, but it's not working as I want it to. People mash DPs way too much (me included). And yeah I agree Tao is a really difficult MU. Her moves are hard to deal with, and she can cross up shenanigans so easily, it's almost unfair... Oh yeah I have a stupid question but... If you neutral tech and buffer a DP (let's say Bullet's 623B), can a perfect meaty force you to block, or you'll go through starting with frame 1 invulnerability? Sometimes I can't reversal and I eat a counter, it feels very random (bad input?). Frame data shows that 623B is invulnerable starting from frame 1... Would be glad to play against you. I'm usually not available though. =3
