Thanks a lot, Blade! I'm now getting new maps as I'm writing this. Man, these maps look much better. It took me around 2~3 day leaving my ps2 going. I didn't do any survivals...just training.

I checked right now and I think I unlocked black characters too and it's on its way to unlock all the characters. I'm going to leave my ps2 on for another day.

Hmm...it's weird. I unlocked all the GG, GGX modes. Normal/EX characters with time release. But after getting special illurstration 6, nothing seems to unlock anymore. No new maps or anything. Should I play survival to unlock everything or should I wait just a bit longer?

I had to left on my ps2 virtually two days straight and unlocked so far upto EX characters and starts to unlock special illurstrations. I can't wait to get a new maps... I never thought about saving the game after practice becuase I was thinking what the hell is the point. I never knew you can unlock new maps and stuff -_-;; Thx for the info.

Hmmm...I didn't see this combo so I'm going to post this here. 5K-JI(8)-5HS-KJT-KJ FRC-j.S- whatever. I'm slowly getting this combo but it's little bit complex -_- My hand gets really busy. I like this combo since it doesn't require MFLV2 moves to start off the combo.

...it's for reverse guard. Hit point is reveresed so you need to jump behind opponent.

About that sword combo, 5K - 2S - 2D x 236S {(RC) jP - jK - jP (jc) jP - jD. This works better, 5K - 2S - 2D - 236 (RC) jPKS - djSD - 236HS(sometimes). I believe it does 10~ more damage? I don't know if this is character specific. Zappa's combos are pretty much freestyle anyway -_-;; Try this combo and tell me if this works on all the characters.

It's pain in the ass to change artwork all the time -_-;; I have to lift the buttons/lexan and replace the art. But I suppose I could do that

You can find it out probably in the frame data of each character or in their respective beginner's guide. Most of time, I think that it's half a second (30 frame) hold. For the combos using charging, you might want to check out May questions/guide thread. They have a helpful tip on how to do charging during combos.
