Chrono Phantasma Speculations/Theories [rules updated 10/14]
Shinhwa replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
It's funny how Jin had gone after Ragna in a bad ending in CT when Ragna fell into the Cauldron with Nu, as he didn't want to lose him anymore, yet we still see him wanting to kill Ragna. Although I think Jin does somewhat want to be friendly with Ragna, but the Power of Order and Yukianesa is still making him go Yandere Brocon, and it really seems his way of saying that he will Ragna is kind of a facade really. Mori, just do us a favor and lead all the characters excluding the assholes like Hazama/Terumi to happiness. Ok? -
It's sad that the anime did not cover the Hakumen x Tsubaki scene. That was one of the best moments in CS TAT WHERE ARE YOU HAKUMEN?! Actually wait, Rachel said she has some business to take care of, so I am going to guess Hakumen gets freed next episode... =_= (Should have been done sooner...) I actually really wonder how Ragna vs Jin will go as considering the route already went differently from CS. Noel kidnapping scene... not sure if it will be heavily animated considering the Noel vs Tsubaki scenes in Episode 7 was animated poorly =w=;; Which means Noel won't really get that much special treatment as proven by Episode 7. I wonder if Tager will be hacked and used against Kokonoe and Lambda just like in Lambda's route next episode. I mean he did tell Noel and Makoto to run away, which means he will be lying down there disabled, which means Phantom and Hazama can hack him and use him against Kokonoe and Lambda. Only question is if Noel and Makoto will run away or they will try to fight only for Phantom to troll them by using Gravity Sid and making them become unable to move. Tsubaki was truly pathetic this episode compared to the games... She was like crying and crying then she sees her jesus and goes happy wut... And yeah, Ragna was like "ARGH since when did I fight to protect something?!" Here is your answer Ragna: Since the day you lost Jin and Saya =w= It's funny how if Ragna went backwards instead of going forward, he could have met Noel right away as she and Makoto were right behind him XD So... I wonder when our cute Lambda is going to appear again in action instead of sleeping in her container... Although next time she appears she will surely be wearing her Murakumo Unit armor again =w=;; Going to guess next or the episode after, considering Kokonoe did say she is still unstable kind of (Just keep her in there and have her avoid the danger to come DAMN IT D:<)
-
Yeah, considering we never had another good Ragna vs Jin in the games' story =w=;
-
Episode 6~9 has been good so far. Episode 8 was the most best for me <3

Power to strip/x-ray clothes off? what?

Good episode. Seems they truly are going anime-original route instead of 100% following the game's route. But it is understandable as this is a whole anime with an integrated route instead of separate routes per character. I knew Tager would lose against Hazama =w=; So they changed the order of the fights for Jin. It normally should have been Jin vs Ragna THEN Jin vs Tsubaki, but they did it vice versa. And yeah, as I expected the Mikado moved right away after awakening, instead of hiding then appearing at the end like the game. And I see Lambda is dreaming. Dreaming about Ragna obviously <3 (Kokonoe... just leave poor Lambda alone DAMN IT DX) I wonder if Makoto will follow her original route from the games or it will be different for her too. Obviously from the previews I am going to guess Noel is captured (like Makoto can defeat Terumi = =). As I mentioned before about Litchi joining the Mikado's side, nice job for anime staff for covering that right away (since they wouldn't have had much space to cover that if things went too late). I always love Childish Killer BGM. XD And Jin finally used his version of the pre-battle sentence :p

Guess I heard it wrong then. Forgot Jubei was the one who told Ragna about that. Jin's route wasn't really in my mind that much since he isn't really my favorite character lol. Anyhow yeah, well Mori does weird things when it comes to writing, so I wouldn't be too sure, but Ragna getting good development in this game wasn't done for nothing. It helped him move on, stopping him from relying on his Azure Grimoire, become stronger as himself without Blazblue, and bond together with others, including people who he was enemies with in the past. Also Amane, who is also a bystander like Rachel (except Rachel herself stopped and had joined the stage, so she lost a vast amount of power, including teleportation), mentioned that Ragna possesses a great light, and is a very special actor, which depicts something on his role in the story. Celica also mentioned that she doesn't want Ragna disappearing from his own world, which pretty shows that she is willing to sacrifice herself for Ragna to prevent him from disappearing/dying if there was such an event where she has the opportunity to save him from his death. Nu, I am totally worried about her future more than any other characters due to the treatment she has been getting since CT, where it feels like she is a sacrifice fodder for Mori and ArcSys, which is pretty tragic if you consider her past and true feelings within her soul. What's more tragic is how she had done a good deed back in CS for Ragna (Not really a good deed in my book since she had to die =A=), yet all of them has gone in vain due to the fact she has returned to her old self. As Lambda, she protected Ragna and talked about her past and feelings, yet as Nu in her original body she wants to keep on killing with Ragna and the persona she showed as Lambda totally disappeared. This is just a theory but I feel the body may have something to do with it. Lambda's body didn't have any Azure Grimoire nor Seithr injected into her, while Nu's body does. I am not sure if those factors are one of the things that influences Nu to be yandere and evil, but considering the fact she wasn't like her old yandere self when she was Lambda, I feel her body is one of the causes of her psychopathic persona, where I feel if she goes through some kind of purification, her true soul may come out, because I feel that as Lambda, her soul was pure but just that Lambda's old memories influenced her in the beginning that Kokonoe was forced to erase her entire memories. But it showed that while in Lambda's body, Nu truly loved Ragna and wanted to protect him. But in her original body she does love him but in the wrong way and she loves to hurt him due to her yandere nature. Nu's programming done by Hazama may also be a factor to her psychopathic persona. But from the bottom of my heart I truly wish for her well being. I don't know why, but for some reason it is the Ahoge characters with long hair that always get the bad treatment =A= Nu = Yandere character who just dies in CT and goes through a tragic life in the past, and goes through the wrong route due to getting controlled by the antagonists Lambda = Total bad life due to getting used for experiments by mad scientists and dies. Her soul dies and after Nu goes in her body and she revives, she just fights and fights then protects Ragna from death and she herself dies. No development whatsoever except giving Idea Engine to Ragna and telling him about her sad past. Es = Better treatment compared to Nu and Lambda, mostly since she was the main heroine, Either Mori has something against Ahoge characters or I seriously have no idea. It would be pretty sad and tragic if Nu really dies at the end of the series as in truth she wanted to live a normal life, such as taking a walk, playing with a cat, as proven by her arcade mode and story mode. I mean come on, she had gone through tons of pain then she dies at the end? That would be just too cruel =_=. Characters like her need to be saved and be able to live a life of peace afterwards, not getting killed =.=; -

Figured as much =w= Ragna mentioned that Jin has the potential to become way more powerful than him in the future and will become his worst enemy. Also Ragna did get a death flag but his survival flag also increased dramatically due to all the bonds and friendship he obtained through his development in Chronophantasma. There is also the Life Link to consider but I am not really sure if that thing can help him escape death from his current state. Izanami mentioned in Episode 17 that humans created Izanagi but it is unknown if she was pertaining to a person or some kind of power or structure. -

There is something confusing about the Sector Seven and Six Heroes route... like it ends in a cliffhanger and I can't tell if it continues off in the Chronophantasma route or not... -

I think on the XBlaze thread there was a mention about Ragna actually having the soul of Touya, which would explain why Ragna said "he doesn't know whose soul he has within his body" back in CS. The way it went was that Ragna attacked Saya/Izanami but didn't like hurt her. Then Izanami said: Izanami: What's wrong? I am not striking back. Or do you actually want me Nii-sama? Saya's Voice: Nii-sama is rejecting me again... Izanami: You will never be saved by him. Forever. *Nu backstabs Ragna* Nu: "Saving me", don't say such a sad thing, Ragna. Ragna: Nu... You... *Ragna falls* Seriously that part of Episode 18 was the scene I hated the most as despite it couldn't have been a good ending, Izanami came in and ruined it all =A= -

The fact is that Amaterasu did make some people go mad due to the numerous time loops. -

No one knows when, where and how Izanami possessed Saya. The thing to note is that Izanami is a similar being to Terumi, a seithr-like being, and the fact was how the church Celica had lived in with the three siblings had a barrier around it, which was why Terumi couldn't approach it, but Jin had destroyed that from the inside using the Yukianesa. Also Ragna had noticed a bit of a change in Saya's personality in the past but he had ignored it, which pretty much lead to the massacre. -
It's a common technique yeah

For one thing, she didn't exist in Hakumen's timeline. -
They should release an anime special or OVA that pertains to a gag ending 8D. Like Ragna's Ghost gag ending and Spectacles of Eros gag ending, but done in a bit different way XP
-
I am like wondering who will fight against Hazama, like I wonder if the anime will do a few battles for him other than Ragna.

What's more weird was how Ignis and Nirvana were still dolls @w@; Relius going on Tsubaki's lap pillow made me go like LOL WUT IS THIS Makoto's gag reel was hilarious too because Valkenhayn goes into Charisma break by becoming like a real wolf where he chases after a Frisbee with a jet engine XD Then Makoto's tail is taken off then becomes alive. Was too funny XP -

I just watched the Sector Seven gag reel and... o god it was too hilarious XD I rofled so much because Relius and Hazama go to an alternate world, where Hazama turns into a house worker for the Clover family and Relius turns into a real father with a happy family where Carl is a really honest child. Except more funny thing is how: 1. Bang becomes Platinum's father 2. Kagura becomes Makoto's father 3. Celica becomes Ragna and Jin's mom (well it is kind of true as she is their foster parent) 4. Kokonoe becomes the principal of Carl's school 5. Tsubaki becomes Carl's homeroom teacher 6. Valkenhayn becomes Rachel's father except he keeps calling her "Rachel-sama" 7. Relius goes back to the original world but forgets to bring Hazama back with him 8D Was freaking too funny LOL -
I know Mikado has awoken now but I wonder on which episode she will take action. I mean like, I wonder if she will take action BEFORE Rachel faces her and before she appears in front of Ragna, Jin, Noel and Hakumen at the end.

Izanami mentioned Hazama. Terumi and Hazama were still linked, so they could still share it I guess. It isn't like they became 100% separate entities. -
That's what I said. He still denies it. =_= Go check episode 8 page for the anime on the wikia and you will see it. The guy is like ridiculous =.=;
-
Makoto will surely do something on Episode 9 or 10 from the looks of it. Also, do you guys consider this entire anime canon or non-canon? This guy on the wiki is like arguing that the anime should be considered non-canon just because it didn't follow the story in the game 100% =_=...

Nope. But for sure the writer of the book is Amaterasu. I am not too sure if the "Girl" who writes the book is the one and the same person who is also the "Girl" in the story and is the "Monster". Rachel never differentiated them and kept saying "Shoujo". Another thing is how Rachel said the only hope left is to "save" Amaterasu. The way Rachel said the story was kind of confusing. -
Huh... what? O.o

Pretty much saying, majority of the side characters get no love for this anime TwT;;
