Now the big question is; Nu or Lambda? Edit: Does anyone recognize the move Nu is doing in the left picture? I think it's *nu*.
-
I don't even- so you make mode change, and then remove it? I'm so done. But in any case I'm happy, each character has their individual attributes, and that's the way I like it.
-
I did some thinking on this, and I have a small presumption. Homing swords that cover your approach as you rushdown your opponent. It further illustrates a more aggressive playstyle. Is that what you had in mind?
-
It's quite possible, but this is assuming that Nu will be changed along with all of the other characters in the next balance patch. I'm not sure how we'll get the two new characters, but I'm willing to bet they'll be DLC packs. (ala CS2 DLC) On another note, think Lambda will get a new theme along with a stage?

Well canonly, when Nu fell into the cauldron with Ragna in CT, she was supposed to have died. That's when Lambda replaced Nu as the primary Murakumo Unit. And yes, I agree with the integration for the sake of similar characters. But what irks me is that they keep bringing them both back. Nu, Lambda, Nu, Lambda. It's like they don't know who they wanna keep, because for Nu to magically be revived is a bit.. absurd. And oh look, they magically brought back Lambda too! But talking about this does lead me to the conclusion that Lambda must be different in a major way. It doesn't make sense to integrate mode change with Nu to prevent two similar characters, and then bring said character back, y'know?

When they gave Nu Lambda's abilities, I feel like they were saying: "There, now you have the best of both characters. You don't need Lambda anymore." Thereby making Lambda unnecessary. And when I compared movesets to each counter part, they made some restrictions. (ex. Not being able to use the C versions of her command attacks while in Luna mode) This was the only major thing to me, because having to switch modes to access the C feints was odd, considering Lambda could do it in CSE. I know, one mode is zoning and the other is *rushdown*'esque zoning. But if they wanted to go about it that way, I don't see why they couldn't have just let the individual characters represent said playstyle. When they change so many things, it's hard to tell what direction they wanted to go with Nu/Lambda.

My main gripe with mode change is that it caused more problems than it solved answers. With the addition of mode change, Lambda basically became obsolete. The fact that they're bringing her back only further illustrates the point that mode change should have never been implemented. Nu should have Nu abilities and Lambda should have Lambda abilities. Combining the two just doesn't work.

It still eludes me to what they mean by *different*. Changing her drive would change the way she plays, in which case, they're either going to totally remake her (which I can't see them doing), or they'll add different properties to certain moves. In any case, I guess we'll have to wait till Thursday for more information.
-
I honestly don't want to get my expectations up too much. At this point, I'm presuming a full CSE port with minor tweaks here and there, and probably a new move.
-
I'm calling it now, Celica for SSS tier.
-
Wait.. didn't Lambda fuse with Ragna in CS? Is she going to revive like Nu did, or are they just disregarding canon?
-
So, any ideas on new designs? I'm personally at a loss on how they could make the Sword Summoner drive different.
-
Hmm, I wonder if Nu vs Lambda will have its own theme.
-
Who else can't wait to play Lambda again?

Something small I wanted to share (Near corner) - 5BB > 5CC > 236B > 214B > 22B (whiff) > 66 > 632146B > Taunt I noticed that when I whiff 22B and immediately do the super, a lot of people choose to not tech. In doing so, they'll get hit. I dash forward slightly before I do the super too, because if you're under the opponent; it gives an illusion that the swords may cross up. And obviously the taunt is unnecessary, but it looks cool.

What happened to Haku? -
She sounds like my type. Execution won't be a problem, but could you elaborate more on momentum?
-
Can someone describe I-NO as a character for me? I'd like to use her in Xrd, but I'm not quite sure what kind of tools she has and what they do.

Would people be interested in a BlazBlue Quote Project?

If this is still going on, I'd have no problem finishing CT. I want an excuse to go back to it anyway. -

I'm looking for a character that thrives off of watching your opponent and acting accordingly. I like playing defensively, if that says anything. -
Well I plan on going there today. Would they at least hold casuals if not the actual events themselves?
-
So... Friday. Is that Galloping Ghosts event still going on?
-
There is literally no one on ranked match at or above 13th Dan. Looks like I'll never progress..
-
Just thought I'd say, OD at max start would be good choice here. With those two free charges, you can threaten the Nu with 421D > 236D early on if they ever try to do spike chaser.

I'm a bit late on the Noel train, but do throw whiff juggle combos still exist?
