Thanks for the advice and my izayoi is actually pretty great lol. I win like 90% of the time I'm just switching to tsubaki because I'm bored of playing her I've been playing iz for about 4 months haha. Tsubaki just fits my playstyle more due to the fact that i use to play cammy in sf4 and catwoman in injustice. But I get what you're saying i definitely need to stop the auto piloting the problem is that izayoi had about 3 blockstrings so I could easily alternate the 3 mixing in 66 5b.

Ok had to say this lol... I THINK this might be the best character thread on dustloop! I'm deciding to sub izayoi (previous main ) and main tsubaki I'm 3 days in and I can say that all of the guides are great. But what I wanted to ask is... Should I learn how to pressure with her before learning all the combo routes (more important ones)? During a match i will basically start off with 5bb and I don't realize that I am hitting the opponent, then I end up auto piloting into charge cancles, missing my opportunity to attack. Next how do i even manage to get in on characters like kagura and rachel?

Ok so does anyone else have trouble doing a wake up phorizer? I always get aegis blade or 236 c lol..... Maybe I don't understand the wake up time very well or something lol but idk

Thanks never thought about baiting dp's from the 6b g.a Ender but i will start to incorporate that when I use it. All of these replies will probably (hopefully) help me stop eating inferno dividers lol.

How do you guys practice setups with izayoi. Is there a way to for example make Ragna wake up dp? It's really hurting my game because I'm afraid to be dp'd every time i get a knockdown. I think jc after strike fall is a safe jump but I cant practice it lol... Any advice?

Okay for starters I'm going to sound like a crybaby lol. But how the hell did you guys get better at this game .....I've been playing izayoi for about 2 months and train a lot but it feels like I'm constantly being dominated. I win about 30% of the time with her. The problem is I'll get some momentum take them down to about 30% then boom the table flips and I get raped lmao.I watch gameplay of better izayoi players and they helped but I'm still not winning. I am thinking about just dropping her and picking up terumi,jin or kokonoe because it feels like everything i do *counter*. Should I try to learn all characters to get a better sense of what I'm up against. This is extremely frustrating because I'm really good at injustice and sf4( i know this is completely different) I'm just annoyed i really like this game but i just feel like giving up. So any advice is helpful.

Do you guys have any consistent bnbs you use with tsubaki. I'm having a really hard time getting use to playing her. I read most of the tsubaki guide but it's just an overwhelming amount of info lol.... So if you guys can just point out 2-3 useful consistent combos it will help me a lot lol.

It's 6a>5cc>6bb>214b>5c>2cc>air dash>5cc i don't remember the rest lol but important part is there

Hey everyone I decided to try and sub tsubaki (izayoi main) i like her playstyle over Noel's because either like to press buttons not sit there watching drive multivitamin lol. But I'm have trouble with a basic combo with her. I cant do 5c>2cc>air dash 5cc everytime i air dash character is too high i cant understand that because I'm doing it right after the second 2c attack. Pleas help

Does anyone know how to use the reversal that costs 50 heat when blocking. I main izayoi and apparentlyt his is suppose to help but idk how to do it lol and not talking about her distortion. It is suppose to be a universal mechanic.

Why do you say cross her out lol? If you can give me pros and cons of characters that would be good too.

Hey ughh I've been maining izayoi for a while and really enjoy her but I'm looking for a second character. I am looking for a character who gets all up in the opponent's *** lol. I really don't wanna play Ragna lol so any suggestions will be nice.

Ok everyone here is really helpful so more questions! 1. When you are the opponents combos do you mash c hoping they will drop the combo or do you watch to see if they drop it. 2. Is it smart to attempt to attack when waking up or am I better of blocking (i play izayoi) all her normals suck but if i try to get a 2a in i always get blown up with a counter hit followed by a combo.

Few more questions for this thread.1. Can I reverse grabs while barrier guarding, and is it bad to barrier guard too often? 2. Is it better to initially block standing or crouching in blazblue? (Coming from sf4) so crouch all day lol. 3. When do i attack if the opponent is recovering from a knockdown? i always seem to attack and get destroyed with a counter hit. I'm very new to blazblue so all these things are frustrating me lol.

Noob question lol. Does anyone know how to work the recording aspect of training mode? When i start recording, which I believe is when those numbers start counting idk how to use what I've recorded lol...

Well i live in USA lol New York to be exact so I'm guessing everyone I'm playing against is from japan. In other news does anyone want to play I'll create a lobby my psn is rachetshot I'm not very good because this is just barely my third week into the game I'd love to get matchup experience vs any character lol.

Does anyone know how to find matches in this game lol...... I go to world select literally everybody has 0 connection it's really frustrating me because I'm new to blazblue and want to learn the game. But I cant if i can only be a lab monster lol. I don't think it's my connection either because I played sf4 a lot and this game is suppose to have the better netcode

How do i combo into 6c does it have to be a counter hit?

I know this may not be a question for izayoi thread but idk where else to post... How do i find matches online i normally went to a world on the left side of world select, but since that Christmas event started no one goes there anymore. Every world i try is the same thing a red 0 connection. Any help would be appreciated.
