Is anyone here going to SCR? I just realized its the weekend that coincides with my fall break, so going may be a possibility for me. Curious if I'd be able to tag along with anyone.

i'm confused as well. If there isn't currently a TO for xrd then it seems like it was just thrown in to appease us and the job of running it is left to us. We have been discussing running the tournament but we're by no means anywhere ready to officially announce it, let alone if any one of us will be able to act as TO. We're basically obligated to run it now...

Pretty much this. I definitely want to help out in making at least a side tourney happen, but given that this is a brand new event it makes things hard to plan. Even if we do figure everything out, we still need to create enough interest from other areas/states to make sure this isn't just an overblown UAT get-together.

An Arizona "major" and anime gets left out =( I don't know if I should be sad or if I should try reaching out to the organizer. Though I'm not sure if we would even have the resources to run even a side tourney.

I'm going to be busy on the 12th, but I can probably do the 26th.

Especially after the long winded debates that we had last time concerning it. If you do decide to add Xrd again, I'll definitely try my best to make it as long as classes don't hold me back.

UAT is the usual place. We have a monthly that goes on but since EVO happened myself and Rath will probably take a break from hosting anything too big. Of course we also occasionally plan smaller casual days if everyone ends up bored and free on the same weekend. Speaking of the monthly. We could combine Luke and Ruben's ideas and still have a tournament but maybe only run UNIEL and Xrd. This opens up the end of the day for longer casual sets and food that isn't portillos/yc's/in-n-out.

This tournament was by far the most fun I've had in awhile and everything ran super efficiently (each tourney ended up running well within their 2 hour time slot). I'm glad we finally settled the score and at least I didn't lose by a landslide (taiga still shit though). @Brian : Won't even lie, big bang beat is kinda dope. I might not object to playing more of it. @Jimmy : We'll replace Persona with a BBCPEX tourney at the next monthly so you can stop complaining. You better show up.
