Dan, I don't know exactly how many people were behind us last year, but let's just say I'm glad that we were only the 5th in line after arriving at 5pm (well, technically more like 18th because of that giant Mexican family who got there first). There were a good deal of people from UAT, and a couple of other people I recognized from other places. And yeah, we pretty much walked across the parking lot to the Denny's and used their bathrooms. I'm willing to bring some chairs and the extension cable/surge protectors and the usual ps2/laptop setup. If we end up having more people than last year, we'll probably need other people to bring some folding chairs too. I forgot who brought the table last year. The thing is, we need someone to bring a TV. I'm looking at Ray.

Dan if you get a ps3 you should get Demon's Souls. I've never played MH but DS was fantastic, and they look pretty similar.

Actually Zeromus, Spiteful is doing some party thing tomorrow, so everyone including Ruben is going there instead. Also we did shrimp works yesterday (minus the shrimp). I think Red Lobster is forever out of our dinner planning, as that place is just too 'spensive, even though I got my full 2000 calorie meal out of it. Also, if I hit 6-8 degrees with >90 power and get red first, I almost always get red or blue next.

Well what I personally do for nanaca crash is launch at < 8 degree angle at as high power as possible so I hit the first person and redo if it isn't a good start (I pretty much restart if it isn't a red or blue girl). If you get fairly lucky with the red girl or if you get the purple-boosted yellow one, you can reach about 70-90m/s at a fairly decent altitude (around 100m-ish). After that you can just start spamming the upward/downward aerial crashes and at that speed/altitude you'll get like 10k distance off that alone before you even touch the ground once.

I worked reasonably hard for that score. If I honestly tried for a long time I could probably get up to my old record of like 40k-ish. Gettin' there...

Well Ted, Shoguns have this class skill called second sword which basically lets them dual wield. While using two weapons is pretty much imba in itself (you get the forging benefits from the 2nd weapon too), attacks from your second weapon also proc attack effects. A Pirate/Shogun with second sword and swashbuckling can attack up to 8 times with just one attack command. Reminds me of genji glove/offering in ff6. BUT! They also have a skill called warrior's might (Ikkitousen) which is a chase skill that chases... everything. Use it with a heavy-hitter like a gladiator or arbalist combined with the aforementioned 8 attacks from one person means you can pretty much multiply your damage output by insane. Oh right, they also have a passive that gives them up to an 80% chance to survive fatal blows once per fight (hello free indomitable), a skill that uses everyone's attack command, a skill that uses everyone's escape command, an instant-death passive attack that completely ignores instant-death resistance, a skill that makes them immune to binds, a passive that increases their attack power for every killing blow they land, a provoke that increases your atk and def, and a passive that heals everyone when the shogun is revived.

Ted, Shoguns are just about the most imba class ever.

Lol so Ted, I found the most hilarious kamikaze build for ninjas. Get a subclass monk with enough ranks in Blood Return to break even in TP gain with Bunshin. Get rank 10 in Nikudan (explode when you die). Spam bunshin. Anything that can't kill your entire party at once can't kill you. Add indomitable for more safety. Lols

Best story of the trip: We got to our hotel room and the first thing we did was check the TV for component inputs. Found none. Turned on the TV and it's playing a trailer for the movie "Salt." That set the stage for the rest of the time there.

Nah I'm pretty sure they seeded by area code. The road trip and hotel stay was so much more fun/hype than the event itself. There was 1 crappy GG casual setup, 1 BB casual setup, and about at least 30 SF setups. Hardly got to play anything with anyone. I think if we want to actually play some casuals with them we'd need to just go there on some random weekend instead of during a tourney. Still had fun, though I'm not planning on attending SCR again. SAX MAN!!!
