Altron Gundam Discussion: *I* will determine justice!!
RX-0 Banshee replied to akai_GO's topic in 2500 Cost Suits
Just my observations so far: 1. I find myself using [AC] to start combos and escape opponents who rush at me. It does more hits than Astray Blue Frame SL's Tactical Arms throw (four hits over its two) so opponents hit by it are staggered longer, giving you a big opening to exploit. 2. Unlike Tactical Arms, when you control throw the Three-beam Trident (4/6[AC]) it will go vertical and curve around in a small arc before returning. 3. It's possible to catch an opponent with [AC] after a combo, but you must be fast. 4. Of course, Altron's Extreme Burst Attack has limited invulnerability. 5. The [bC] follow-up launches opponents away, but can be followed up with another attack if you're quick. Totally useless trivia! If you pair Altron/Wufei with a Zeon character, at the beginning of the fight he will say, "Zeig Zeon?!" "Sore ga omae no seigi ka!" T/L "Zeig Zeon?!" "Show me your justice!" If you pair Altron/Wufei with Zaku III/Mashimyre, at the beginning of the fight he will say, "Haman-sama? Sore ga omae no seigi-err..Ii da." T/L "Lady/Ms. Haman? Show me your justice-err, that's okay." Also, movelist: Movelist [A] Dragon Hand [CSa] Dragon Hand (double) Three-Beam Trident [AB] Beam Cannon 4 Shots before reload. [AC] Three Beam Trident (throw) 5[AC] is a straight horizontal throw 4/6[AC] is an arc-curving throw that makes the trident go vertical [bC] Dragon Hand (grab) This pulls Altron TO the opponent and stuns them briefly. Press [A] to do a follow-up combo that launches the opponent away in an arc. Press to do follow-up attack that launches opponent away at an arc. [ABC] Extreme Bust Attack (can't read the name) Long auto-combo with limited invulnerability -
RGZ-91 Re-GZ (Refined Gundam Zeta) Pilot: Chan Agi Series: Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counter-Attack HP: 320 *NOTE: Re-GZ starts in BWS (Back Weapon System) waverider mode and you can manually switch to the mobile suit by pressing [AC]. *NOTE:Waverider mode lasts for 90 seconds before BWS is purged. BWS Waverider Movelist (A) Beam Cannon 8 shots. Causes stagger on hit. Decent tracking. Grenade Launcher 2 shots before reload. Shoots four grenades per shot that have decent tracking. [AB] Mega Beam Cannon 2 shots before reload. Causes knockdown on hit. [AC] BWS Mode Change Launches BWS at opponent and causes knockdown while changing Re-GZ into mobile suit. Can only be used ONCE per life. [bC] Barrel Roll Does a barrel Roll Mobile Suit Movelist [A]Beam Rifle 4 shots before reload. Standard Beam Rifle shot. Beam Saber Standard melee weapon [AB]Tube-launched Grenade 1 2 shots before reload. Shoots two grenades from wrist-mounted tube launchers. Has decent tracking. [FB] Banshee Norn thread "Mr. Riddhe... You're a Newtype too!"
RX-0 Banshee replied to MikelAL93's topic in 3000 Cost Suits
Just some observations after playing around with Banshee Norn: 1. The last hit of the 5BBBB string leaves Banshee Norn stuck in the pose for a second, so he's wide open for punishment/counter-attacks (not to mention the last hit seems SLOW coming out). 2. If you do the 4/6BBB by itself (i.e. not as part of a chain combo or follow up attack), the last hit will knock the opponent straight up fairly high; this makes it hard to follow up with anything. 3. When doing the 4/6BBB as part of a chain (5BBB>4/6BBB), the last hit will knock the opponent away at an angle and can be followed-up with [bC] IF you're fast enough or in a corner. 4. It's fairly easy to chain Banshee Norn's Extreme Burst attack [ABC] from 5BBB, 4/6BBB, and 8BBB. It's even possible to catch an opponent from [bC] if you're in the corner and you're fast enough. 5. Banshee Norn's Extreme Burst attack is a long auto-combo (similar to Crossbone X1 kai) that leaves it wide open to punishment, although it has start-up invulnerability (i.e it can take a few beam shots and still connect). 6. 2B pushes the opponent back, but leaves it open to attack because the animation is fairly long. It should either be followed-up with [AC] or cancelled out of for safety. 7. [bC] has slight super armor during the attack (you can take a few beam shots before being knocked out of it). *DEBATEABLE* 8. 5[AB] is great for getting through barrier buffs (i.e. GunEZ's Shike Team barrier or Gyan's shield barrier, but NOT funnel-type or shield bit barriers) and setting up combos. I'll add more if I find anything noteworthy... EDIT: Changed "Zunda" to "Fuwa Step". -
It hasn't been listed here yet, but I'll add it for some FYI stuff: In NT-D, when Banshee does the 5B~ combo, there's actually 3 endings to it: 1. 5BBBB-A Banshee will grab the opponent, lift them over its head and then shoot them straight up. 2. 5BBBB-B Banshee will perform an uppercut, knocking the opponent far away (easy to follow-up with [AC] or [bC]) 3. 5BBBB-8B Banshee will jump up and backhand the opponent, which makes them slide across the ground a long distance. I'll add more if I find anything else...

[FB] Sinanju General Discussion: Press SUB to do a Barrel Roll!
RX-0 Banshee replied to imDraxx's topic in 2500 Cost Suits

More good combos! Unicorn Mode: 8BBB--Rainbow Dash---8BBB (Hurricane Kicks) 8BBB---Rainbow Dash---4/6B--either B or 2B (You can end this with either the roundhouse kick or the uppercut; if anyone can get a follow-up hit after the uppercut, let me know) 8BBB--Rainbow Dash---5B-8BBB (You will end up doing the axe kicks instead of the spinning kicks) 2BB-8B---Rainbow Dash---8BBB (or 4/6BB) 4/6B--2B--CsA Destroy Mode: 5BBBB---[AC]---BBB (When Unicorn launches the opponent in the air, press [AC] and do the follow-up combo) 4/6BB---[AC]---BBB

[FB] The Epyon General Discussion: Get in, whip everything
RX-0 Banshee replied to LionHeartx's topic in 3000 Cost Suits
The Zero system buffs Epyon's attack damage at the cost of consuming extra boost and you can use it at any time with a button press. Between Next+ (which I still play) and EXVSFB, Epyon got nerfed BADLY in Full Boost to where you have to completely re-learn it. Gone are its Infinity Slashes and Izuna Drop finisher (though the Issen and Explosion ends are there); it's also slower than it was in Next+ (but using Zero system sort of makes up for it), so it's a suit you really have to dedicate time to learning. -
[MB] The Maxi Boost General Discussion Thread
RX-0 Banshee replied to Setsuna Yuki's topic in Gundam Extreme Versus
Doesn't Cherudim already have Seravee as an assist in EXVS/FB? As for the new bosses: are they ripped straight from the Next+ version (i.e. Strike Freedom w/METEOR) or completely new? -
[FB] Gundam EXVS Simple Q&A Thread - Ask Anything!

Are replay saves online play only? -
I didn't realize there was damage scaling in the game; though I guess it would make sense with the 1000 cost suits that could be killed in one good chain combo. About the combo you posted--you don't have to do the rainbow step; after the BBB follow-up from the BD8B, you'll still hit with the [AB] Tonfa throw+saber uppercut.
-
:/ Wouldn't the damage from that combo be: BD8B (86) + 5BBB (196) + [AB] (70) + Follow-up combo (216) = 451? Also, I can't get all of the hits of Unicorn's "most damaging combo" to land. The farthest I can get is the [AB] throw, but then the opponent falls down and you can't chase them. Aside from that, here's another simple NT-D combo: 2B [AB] BBB = 378 damage. You have to quick with [AB] or you'll miss, so time it to where the opponent is just about to hit the ground and you'll catch them every time.

[MB] The Maxi Boost General Discussion Thread
RX-0 Banshee replied to Setsuna Yuki's topic in Gundam Extreme Versus
What's NOT wrong with him?! He took what was annoying about Kira in SEED/SEED Destiny and drove it up to 11! Kio: "Please, stop fighting! I'm in the most powerful Gundam in the AGE series and I won't kill anyone because the Vagans are just like us! I sympathize with them and Lord Ezelcant's not really a bad guy! Stop fighting this pointless war that's been going on since long before I was born! I'm not going to fight and neither are you, so stop it!" -

I think the general consensus is that EVERYBODY (Bamco included) hates Kio and we'll likely (hopefully?) never see him again. -
Just some things to add: Banshee has a nice Neutral/5 combo while in Destroy Mode that ends with launching the opponent into the air that CAN be followed up by [bC] Armed Armor VN if you're fast enough: 5BBBBB--[bC] In Destroy Mode, [bC] Armed Armor VN has three versions: Neutral/5 [bC] will have Banshee rush, grab the opponent by the head and drag them across the ground a good distance before jumping away, (though the damage doesn't seem to be that great) , side 4/6 [bC] where Banshee will grab the opponent, fly up into the air and blow them up in a "Heat End"-style explosion (that does pretty good damage which is great to follow up the Destroy Mode Neutral combo), and 8 [bC] in which Banshee grabs the opponent by the head and crushes it, causing an explosion (great damage, too). Also, 4/6 [bC] and 2 [bC] have evasion properties, so it can be used to lose target locks. You can chain two Destroy Mode [bC] Armed Armor VN's together if you're fast enough (only 4/6 [bC] into 8/2 [bC]). You can also chain either the 4/6 [bC] or 2 [bC] into your Extreme Burst [ABC]. Banshee has a CC/BD8BBBBB that does great damage and is pretty safe from getting hit because of how high it climbs into the air. Unfortunately, you can't connect or cancel the last hit into [bC] Armed Armor VN. A basic, but damaging, combo: 2B--[bC] (version and mode doesn't matter) When Banshee's Armor Gauge/HP gets below 240, it will stay in Destroy Mode, unlike Unicorn.
