I don't recall it taking me that long to learn stick, but it does take a little while and daily practice. Find how you're most comfortable holding it and practice the same things over and over again until your hands and fingers bleed!! It'll be worth it. Stick is much better than pad.

Man, it feels good knowing that I'm the person that brought back the GG Boston scene. I've been out of the scene for so long that I didn't even know it was dead! You'll definitely have to make it out to the next one. I remember playing you at TGA once in a Baiken mirror and you beat me. You were kind of random with your Baiken so I didn't know what to do. Baiken mirrors are always very careful matches anyway because you're always worrying about getting caught with a counter to your counter Looking forward to playing your Baiken again! I'll be holding my next gathering at the end of March. I haven't picked a date yet, but probably around the same time as the last one.

Thanks for coming out everyone! It was an awesome turn out. Totally wasn't expecting so many people to come. It was a lot of fun. And great meeting all of you I hope to do this again next month if you're all up to it.

As far as I know I have over 10 people coming to my apartment for this gathering. I've never tested my place to see how many people can fit comfortably in there, so I apologize if it gets a little cramped when a lot of people start showing up. After this I'll be able to tell what the max number of people I should allow at my gatherings is. See everyone tonight!

Ok, guys. Saturday is upon us! I'm hyped about this. I haven't had a gathering in a while and this looks to be the biggest turn out I've ever had. I'm sorry to anyone else that plans on asking me, but I'm going to cut it off from here. If everyone shows up that plans on coming then I'm going to have over 10 people. There's going to be two big TVs, and a little one if needed. Someone is bringing a PS3, and I think someone mentioned an extra PS2, which we will need since I only have one. I hope everyone has their own sticks or controllers. I have extra PS2 controllers, but only two sticks. I'll order up some pizzas during the night and grab some snacks so people don't starve. And not to sound cheesy or anything, but I don't want anyone getting drunk or anything lol. No tolerance for that. All right, see everyone on Saturday! If you don't have my number, or my address then contact me. It was hard keeping track of everyone that contacted me.

Just so I don't have to keep checking back in here, could anyone that plans on attending my gathering that hasn't PMed me please PM me if you plan on coming? I've already given a few people my address and other info. As far as anyone concerned about parking, you can't park in my drive way, but there is plenty of space on the side of the road. You might have to park a little ways up but it shouldn't be anymore than a 2 minute walk. Also, I want people to show up between 5-6 and it'll go on until, well, everyone gets sick of playing and leaves! I'm thinking midnight? I know some people have to drive pretty far.

Yeah, I remember playing with you! Kahmal came out to my gatherings a lot more after that. Unfortunately, due to school I can't come out on Wed. or Thurs. , but hopefully in the future I could. What's your work schedule Friday thru Monday? Those are my free days.

I've been playing the series since I first found out about it on Dreamcast. Accent Core is still my favorite fighting game. I have a custom stick with Baiken as the picture, and a couple of Guilty Gear figures of Millia,Baiken and Ino. So, I guess I'm a pretty big fan.

I have 2-3 people so far, but I'm waiting for people on dustloop to confirm if they're going or not. There's still a week and half 'til the 20th, so there's plenty of time for people to decide if they're coming or not.

All right, guys. If I could get a head count of who is definitely coming over the next week that would be cool, then I can tell those people my address and all that good stuff. I'm going to be ordering pizza, so I also want a head count to know how much to get that day

Who:Me! I've been around for a while. Since 2003 or so. I main Baiken in Accent Core(obvious from my avatar). I've been to a few tournaments, nothing major. I never had the chance to travel much so I mainly hosted small gatherings in Boston for a while, then I kind of fell out of it when I started up school again. But I miss it and I want to start throwing them again! Where:I live in Allston,MA. You can easily get to my place by taking the 57 bus route, or the B train line. By car, not so sure, but I do live on a main rd(cambridge St.) so it should be easy to find if you plug in my address into mapquest. When: I want throw it on the 20th of this month, which is a Saturday, probably around 5PM. I have a pretty big living room that doesn't get used, so I could probably host about 8-10 people. I have two T.V.s, so some people could play a different game in my room while others are playing another game in the living room. I own two of my own custom sticks, so you might want to bring your own if you can. So, if you want to come, you're more than welcome. I'm always up for meeting new people in the fighting game scene.

Anyone still into Accent Core? If enough people are interested, I'd be willing to throw little gatherings at my apartment once or twice a month for anyone that wants to play Accent Core, 3rd Strike, or any other fighter. I have swap magic, so the options are endless as far as that goes. However, I don't own any next-gen system, so if anyone wanted to play Blazblue or SFIV I couldn't help you there. Unless someone is willing to bring their own. If anyone is interested they can drop me a PM or post in here. I live in Allston,MA. What's going on in the Boston area as far as Accent Core goes? Does anyone still play? I haven't jumped on the Blazblue train yet since I don't own a PS3.

I've gotten it to work on Slayer before, just practice it more. I think you might need to change the angle of which you go up and with the slashes.

Ok, so how do you do the Yozansen FRC? I can't do this at all. And the times I do manage to get it, I'll get a negative edged tatami or something stupid like that after.
