You can DP through a single hit projectile, though whether that is safe or not depends on the situation.

That combo is 5b5c > 63214D~C > jump xx dash > j.C > 2b2c > j.B dj j.BC 236b 236c Also, that player is not Kaqn. Kaqn never plays Litchi in the GC vids, so it would be Manakan. I translated player names in the video posting thread.

Yeah, かきゅん does the jump > dash combo a lot after Straight Through ~ C. Going to try that out on every character next time I hit up the cabinet.

She doesn't really play like Jam at all to me, only looks like her because they're both Chinese. Also unlike Jam, her damage output is only about average from what I've seen. It's likely that we'll figure out better combos though so this may not be this way forever.

Yeah, I was actually messing around a bit with her half circle back A or B or C specials while the staff is down. In case anyone is wondering, 63214A = Litchi stands on top of the pole where pressing A or B or C will make her attack and press up and down will make her jump off and hop down, respectively. 63214B = she leaps over to the Mantenbou and throws it across the screen. If she is too far away or the Mantenbou is not visible, she will leap over in the direction but do nothing afterwards. 63214C = Litchi leaps toward the Mantenbou again but she jumps off the tip, perpendicularly, in the direction of the opponent. It is possible to attack a little bit after the bounce off the Mantenbou. Anyone have anything new for me to try? I'll probably be hitting up the cabinet at UP again soon. Also, I'd like to mention that in the inital BNB combo, I don't know if it's just me, but I don't find j.BC dj j.C to work. the first j.C just throws them down to the floor, so I do j.B dj j.BC 236B 236C. Has worked on almost every character for me.

For the WT > iad j.S > CLSW you continue with j.CLSW x2 then j.S VV > TO The timing is different from doing 2D > BR (RC) > CLSW x3. I play a Jam a lot, and the WT> iad j.S combo is just so fun to do.

I don't want to have to spend 25% tension for that though. It's really not a bad idea but it's something you can't get predictable with. And yeah, I mean I currently can't practice any variations of my current oki so I have a problem with his IB/SB shenanigans. For regular people it's not bad at all. Training mode will alleviate the issue, so long as I can find another PS2. Don't get it twisted though, Marlin isn't that simple. :P

Actually, Marlin IBs my j.H like 75% of the time. So, it's great in that it forces me to mix up a little more but against him I don't ever really use j.H as oki very much. It turns into free punish, usually throw. So now I try to delay j.H, which in turn gives him an opportunity to do something else if I screw it up as I'm unable use training mode for now. Especially when I play his Potemkin, good god it turns into free PB. It's always good experience fighting him. :P Oh, he also slashbacks Bandit Bringer like, 50% of the time I'd say. Once again, always good experience.

I kind of feel like it's a little bit in Slayers favor as well. He's just overall a better character with more ways to get big damage than Sol. Certainly not a broken advantage but I feel like it's there.
