Oh, that's different from what I was talking about. I'll give that a shot.
-
It's only really worth it on lightweights like Buri. WT > IAD j.S > CLSW into j.CLSWs > knockdown. And maybe Potemkin because he's big as hell, but I prefer to just j.D > CLSW x4 > BR (170~ dmg) him.

Spirit Juice: 'tis from the star that is lucky! UNGAA~ And just to stay on topic, shouldn't we add some BR FRC combos too, just for posterity?
-
Well, if they're really low, and you know they're going to die from it, it will seal the deal. That's their primary purpose because a huge ass unburstable combo would be pretty I'm just wondering if there might be any others for flexibility purposes. The damage is reasonable in exchange for it being unburstable.
-
There any other unburstable combos out there?

I was actually talking about the last few team vids that tiamat posted cause I thought that was what rtl was referring to. =/ We didn't stay for sunday so I have no idea who was MCing outside of the vids.

Positive. He was definitely trying to cancel into like gunflame or 2D or something that keeps him close enough/on the ground if that happened (Although, fefnir might whiff if he was trying to 2D).
-
I just tried this in training mode and the blockstun is way too heavy for that to happen. Unless I'm doing it wrong, you would have to IB it (haven't tried that yet). Besides, 5HS on block should always be cancelled into something. Just sitting on a 5HS gets you nothing. Edit: Sorry, Champion posted while I was typing, haha. We have similar answers though. Yeah, but the only time this is guaranteed is during an IAD. Mindlessly VVing, and to be fair this is something I'm guilty of sometimes, will get you killed.

Just off the top of my head, crouch block might whiff. I'm not sure about that though, in fact I'm doubting that right now as I'm typing this, since you're talking about SVV, so if no one has tried it I'll try it again real quick when I wake up. Also c.S > 5HS > GV can be done at a decent range. I believe you can step back far enough to whiff the tataki otoshi (214K followup) and be close enough to combo c.S > 5HS into GV. And Hellmonkey was clearly just kidding, haha. Hell, I don't think even Kusoru has done full tension TK BR FRCs in a match (although, I wouldn't doubt it so much...).

I'd go with the T5 stick, personally.

Damn, it was pretty exciting just reading that. Being there must be so awesome.

The first set was done by HNH I believe then second set was marlinpie.

Somehow, Isuka always comes up on this thread like once a month. My weapon of choice will always be dual wield pocho.

His name - is Masutani! We will forever remember this entry, the same way we will forever remember SAVP.

Awesome. Thanks. LOL "DANZAI"

Who is actually doing the guide? Teyah said he might do it (he did a fucking awesome job on the Eddie guide) but since he did that massive Eddie guide already, I wouldn't be too sure about how much time he has to make another character guide. Millia is just too cool. Since she's not my main, a guide would help a lot since I can't put most of my focus on her.

I do believe Hahano is still making sticks. At the very least he's still alive because I saw him last weekend. :P And I wouldn't worry about the transition, bucklemyshoe. It'll take 2-3 months for you to become completely fluid with it. It's a tough transition.

You're doing it right.

Tick throws are pretty general advice for anyone but Sol's high and low mixup is relatively weak compared to other people. So, you want to be watching out for throw mixup in which you should just be wary of moves that give Sol advantage, aka moves to tick with, like 2P 5P, etc. No Sol should be spamming non-FRC'd gunflames. And if you jump over it too much Sol can respond accordingly. Not that retaliating with IAD over is a bad idea but, I main Sol and one of the more useful and common uses for GF is to get someone in the air for you to punish because that's what most people tend to react with. VV on reaction is not too far fetched for good Sols because they realize it is one of his most powerful tools if used properly. So, like all things, if you're not predictable with IAD Gekirin then it's ok but if the Sol is clearly just waiting for you to IAD - that's free VV right there. I would agree with Nives in the Sol forum and say that Jam has the slight advantage here (5.5 Jam - 4.5 Sol) because if you don't tech horribly, she has more ways to get damage over Sol. And her damage output is a good level above Sol's.

Naw, Bandit Bringer loop and Bandit Revolver loops pale in comparison to sidewinder damage. They're just flashy lulz combos. Except, some bandit revolver loops like: j.D 2HS j.SKD BR j.S VV or BR FRC combos come close to sidewinder damage but sidewinder is still the best damage output and that combo should only be used if you reacted to slow and missed sidewinder opportunity. For new players, I would recommend watching match vids of 012 and Kishitaka. Or match vids in general because if it works in a match the combo or setup is most likely legit, unless the opponent screwed up somehow.
