The date is set though Tournament Format Double Elimination Each set is FT2 to win the set, Finals will be FT3 Venue Rules: You must be aged 16 or aboveNo alcohol/drugs/illegal substances, any found will mean ejection from the venue and possible banning of future events. No fighting at the venue, any fighting is a bannable offense, if there is a problem please contact a member of staff first. Any weaponry brought to the venue will result in immediate calls to the police.Any controllers and sticks are your own responsibility; we will not look after any at any time. Do not touch any of the consoles unless you are plugging in your stick or controller. Please make sure you have your wrist band at all times. Staff will periodically check if you have your wristband with youFor venue entry, please print off your PayPal receipt and a symbol of identification (Driverfs Licence, Passport, ID Card) to get your wristband. If anything has happened to your wristband, please bring the old one to get a new one at the front desk, explaining why this occurred Tournament Rules: If you are not at your designated spot when your game is called, there is a countdown of 2 minutes - If you are not there, you will be disqualified. If you have another game to play, please let your respective gamesf judge know so they can start another match. If you need to go toilet, please let the member of staff know that is taking your side of the bracket so there is no confusion. If there is a pause or controller disconnect while the game is active, then the offending player forfeits that round. Notify when you are going for a button check so there is no confusion. Buttons checks MUST be performed before the match starts and is the responsibility of the player. Chronos converters are banned No Turbo controllers No DualShock3's or any pads that can sync to PS3's (Due to the liability of people pressing home button during other people's matches) Accomodation These were linked for Revolution last year. We will be sorting this out by selling stuff at the venue! Cans of Coke, Water, 7UP, etc. Will be keeping the costs to a minimum so like 60p a can but we will keep you informed about it. Please suggest some drinks that you want to see, we will try to get them including hot drinks like GREEN TEA! Also due to the food around the area not being to a decent standard, there is a possibility of food being provided at the Venue itself. If you get in at Heathrow you can get into Central London for about £5. You MUST get an Oyster or you are gonna get ripped off in London, hope you kept it from last Revolution! So yeah Revolution has come and gone, and we looked at tournaments for anime games in the coming year It's...not looking very good. Not sure what anime tournaments there are around europe but if there are any...I wasn't very successful in finding them...or they only have Xrd So we are thinking of doing a tournament in March. Yeah its not very long notice, at most its 3 months notice. Checking if people are interested But yeah wanna put some points down, assuming that it happens... 1. Its 3 days, more casuals! Friday wont have many tournaments on the day so people can just play each other. Revo being 2 days felt really short :/ 2. More Space! Well, we can now setup in the lobby entrance. so yeah we have more space (and access to more power plugs...thats important) 3. Hypemeter removal...maybe. The venue owners are working on removing the Hypemeter Functionality... Possible game lineup 1. Guilty Gear Xrd 2. Blazblue ChronoPhantasma (Hope 2.0 is out) 3. Under Night in Birth 4. If you burst you lose. People don't realise how much advantage you lose when you burst and with dark this matters even more

Yeah Dual Shock 3's are quite a topic right now. While people claim to have good work-arounds for the problem, it doesn't actually work... Example Case The issue with Dual Shock 3's for Tournaments The DS3 pad can connect to any PS3 via Wireless, by syncing with the console using a Mini USB Cable Once it is synced, it can turn on a PS3 wirelessly and control the PS3, as it is connected to the PS3 If a DS3 is off, you can turn it on using the Home Button, it will then attempt to connect to the last Synced PS3 You cannot unsync a PS3 pad, and turning the DS3 pad off just means it can be turned on again by pressing the home button Because of this, somebody who WAS on the PS3 can turn on the PS3 (which to be fair, should already be on), and they can press the home button (refer to the video above, and note that it says that player 3 pressed the home button) It is horrifyingly hard to find the Culprit Removing the batteries from the Dual Shock 3 doesn't solve the problem for a number of reasons You removing your batteries from your Dual Shock 3 does not stop somebody else from having a battery in their pad To make sure their batteries are removed I need to check every pad I then need to supervise EVERYBODY to make sure they do not put them back in EVEN IF YOU REMOVE THEM. If you plug them into a Playstation 3 that isn't the one you last played on, if you mash the Home Button you can STILL home button the last console you were on, because it does not sync immediately. I was at Hessen Crash 15 and this happened, I got witnesses! Using a dummy syncing PS3 also does not working due to supervision issues Alternative Pads which are fine~ While these are not perfect alternatives, they are still workarounds which are pads, and will be fine for tournaments, not just for Revolution, but for any PS3 tournament ever Dual Shock 1/2 + USB Converter (for PC)...of any kind. Try to find a lagless one Dual Shock 4.
