From what i've seen it's never really random, it's more of a this is the time i think they would use it so i'll throw out a safe quick poke instead of something else.

Well Jan's pot is just really good, i literally sit and play for hours with this guy, losing. what's even worse is he'll tell me what's going on. But basically it was testing my progress as an ABA player against one of our bad matchups. The result, felt like i was tryna learn multivariable calculus after i just learned to graph something. Another thing is he's pretty good at several characters. if you don't want to play his Pot ask him to play Venom, it's worse so much worse lol.

You're right it's possible to catch some characters too early, Jam for example, if u just slightly alter the timing of the dash j.p you get different ways of failing at the combo.

Yep ABA does gain tension really fast. Sometimes i don't notice i have 25% already, especially since i backdash at the start to wait on my opponent to start doing stuff. Once you're in moroha though you really see the tension pour in i can name several times when i though i was just gonna be attempting butt loop x2, i still suck at it, only to hit 50% after the butt to RC into 2hit Orbs keygrab combo of doom.

lol of course i'll record the matches. i need to anyway so i can study those little annoying patterns

Moroha, I've been practicing so, i'm gonna go play Jan and put some of what i've been learning to the best test i got. But if i beat him someone has to get me a kick ass ABA Avatar lol.

I can't lie I-no is more bad ass than i gave her credit for. I kind of want to play her but since i'm so bad at the moment, i'm sticking to ABA for now. so for anyone who would know is this the method that they use for doing airdashes with ABA's Orb FRC?

my execution is bad when it comes to JI'ing with A.B.A. i think i've done it all of twice but that combo does look better than the 669 one and i've seen a match vid where dio uses it. since the timing of the dash jump is weird and i'm bad at doing a JI before 2S i stick with old BnB throw combo.

i must be missing something then because when i try those IAD combos sometimes the orbs are just barely above ground lol and othertimes i just get the 1st hit of the rekkas. i must be screwing up the IAD because i'm not high enough to put j.D in there

Ok I have 2 questions. 1. Does anyone else notice the knockdown bar get lowered when you attack or am i just crazy/uninformed? 2. What the hell are my Oki options aside from EX-bloodball? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what the properties of dash prime are but it isn't necessary with A.B.A. from my own experience. Normal mode dashing is after the FRC of Dangoku is good enough to get anything done. The only things i practice Dangoku for anymore is FRCing and getting the most delayed Dangoku i can get and I don't there's a "too" close in Mohara with Dangoku being an exception

Moroha your buttloop use in the vid vs Ky kinda makes me jealous, i haven't gotten that good at it yet but seeing 2 reps helps me grasp the concept and kinda makes me glad i'm on her side lol. Is that eddie player good by your standard or is that something i can expect from anyone playing eddie because that was pretty scary.

Anyone know of a place where i can download and not just watch match videos i'd progress a lil better if i could see some of this stuff while i practice

i can never get throw dash keybrag on anyone it should work on. anyways the match vs slayer was pretty good and the one against baiken made me laugh a lil because it just reminds me of how little i airthrow

Yeah i mean Impossible Dust, i know the IAD is important after all the match videos i've watched lol. Anyways I'll look around for your post on it and let you know if i'm still lost on performing it
