It isn't the online that's going magically grow the community (it will definitely help though). I think it's these things in order. 1. Publicity: GG doesn't have the sponsorships or the recognizable and consistently high-ranking players like Daigo, Valle, Wong, Chris G. or Infiltration for the mainstream audience to see. People follow where the hype goes. Just look at Marvel for evidence of that. Question: Are there ANY rivalries in the community? 2. Loosen the controls: Executing commands in current GG is more difficult than KOF13. New players will not stick around if they can't even get help crawling first. It's like The developers put glass and rocks in the way for the sake of it. 3. Get the older cast back into the lineup ASAP: Many, many OG players have not made the plunge because their old main is not available and new players are not interested in the current lineup. When you have SF4 with like 40 current and MK X starting at around 30, GG's character selection options look limited.

What? This nonsense again? Why in the world would you leave out America, which has the biggest potential for your product? Japanese players will be fine with the arcade version, but since arcades barely exist in the West why not....bring the console version to America first (gasp!!!)? I'm really sick of this continual community separation Arc Sys keeps doing. It's getting to the point I'm about to just call it quits and become a spectator. We waited six months for BBCP that we just got a few months ago and you want people wait months again while you give Japan BOTH options? This has got to be the most out-of-touch marketing strategy I've seen in a while (ala Nintendo). You have people calling your game Evo's best of 2014 and for a reward you just forget about the rest of the world, killing your own hype. There's a lot of other games around and people will gravitate toward them because other companies were smart enough to make them available on time. Looking into the Japanese toy store window at what they get again exclusively for months (hopefully not).

You sound like a serious crutch player. lol You seem to be stuck forever in first gear and activated panic-mode when the thought that...omg you'll actually have to improvise. "The NERVE of Arc Sys making me work to win matches! This is not fair... I'll go play a game that lets me be me."

IF you really wanna learn Bang, it's time to do some Rocky Balboa film analyzing. Go to youtube, type in: "bbcp Dora". Dora is one of the best Bang players. You can learn a lot from watching his matches. -

Everyone thinks this is the final patch? Capcom just gave Ultra Street Fighter 4 an update for the home console that's beyond the arcade release. -
This Koko, Litchi, Azrael and Hazama nonsense NEEDS to end before EVO. Who wants to see just high tier in the top 8 for the simple fact that lower tiers have way less options? Every character SHOULD have a weakness/downside to their Drive. They should be trying to set the standard at EVO, not repeat what Yun did in SF4 the past event. Litchi - Slow down overhead attacks starting frames(by adding more frames) Staff loses hitbox and falls to the ground if it's NOT on her(like flying around or stuck in the ground) If she is hit(unblocked). She will have to stand over it pick it up to use her staff moves again. Azrael - Less invulnerability on dash. Less movement on dash. Hazama - Drive meter can only be recharged while on ground. Non-Ouroboro Drive moves can't be used without full charge. Koko - Slow down recharge time on Drive. Can only be recharged on the ground. Gaviton disappears if koko is TOUCHED(like the fire point on Mu-12's Steins). Add more recovery to teleport. Slow down 3C Izayoi - Put her body from her shoulders down into quicksand(her moves are too fast).

Aksys displaying Favortism toward certain characters?

BBCP 1.1 Hazama combos (youtube on jourdal2012 channel) For some reason I can't post it here... Pay attention to Hazama's drive meter. -

very good. Still, a character like Hazama is a in-and-out zoner. WHY are his damage options, upclose specials and normals better than most rushdown characters? Him and Valkenhayn get to have their cake and eat it too. IF they had to actually WORK for their drive meters(Hakumen, Tsubaki, Izayoi, Amane or Arakune) OR the cooldown periods were more noticeable(Rachel, Tager, Relius or Carl), they would be far more balanced. -

it might just require some more experience against her to get her down to A class. lol -

you most-likely already know that koko has gotten hit with the bat and Valk's wolf meter is a little slower(don't know if it helped or not), but Hazama never really changes. Another one with an extremely fast overhead(who shouldn't have it) is litchi. Like seriously what's up with these all-around characters? -
First instance: It's strange that low tier characters like Makoto and Bullet, who are closed-ranged and rushdown oriented haven't received the proper tools to play their way( once again, properly), but a character like Hazama is able to zone AND rushdown VERY effectively. Does Hazama even have a drive meter? I mean I SEE it there, but has there EVER been a time where you can say "ok I got him to use both of his drive meters, now he's in trouble." Bullet has like one of the slowest normal overheads in the game, but Hazama's version is one of the fastest? How come Makoto barely has any +frames on her freakn' short attacks? Rachel has grounded drive recovery, but Hazama doesn't? Second instance: Valkenhayn has like the most ridiculous 50/50's in the game. He can combo off of them and do them repeatedly without any real consequence Even if blocked. The wolf meter is kinda like Hazama's meter where it doesn't really seem like it has a legitimate cooldown period. It's like some characters have braindead easy to take advantage of drives and others go through hell for very little reward. Do you see any favoritism In the character designs(not just these, but any of the cast)?
