The only good thing Childish Killer ever gave me was when I was using Makoto against Tsubaki, and I used Big Bang Smash, where Makoto yells out 'IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF... THAT STUPID SINGING!!!'. I laughed for days at that.

I think a more accurate claim would be that she's still fun. I have more fun using her than anyone else in the entire series, without a doubt, and that's a big reason why I'm keeping her as my main. That, and, she's pretty much my favorite character in any media ever at this point. But good... Eh, you're right. I can't lie to myself anymore there. When I break out Noel or Bullet or Tsubaki in a lobby match, I feel like I have a legitimate shot at winning. With Makoto, it's 'try my best, but...'

Sure, take all the time you need. It's not even that important really cause, like I said, I can use the Arcade dialogue boxes just fine for the silly shit I do. Interesting that they'd bury it in one of those files instead of being a regular image file like the other dialogue boxes, though.

Out of curiosity, were you ever able to find the story mode dialogue boxes? The arcade winquote one is fine, and can serve whatever evil purposes I have just as well, but I'm still curious.

Is it bad I've been dying for this thread to get bumped for about a week just to share this? My baby's done, y'all. Madcatz SE base, Seimitsu stick and buttons, FA Nippon balltop, artwork's my design (and yes I realize the cutting isn't perfect, did the best I could though), and the token is from an arcade in Gatlinburg, TN that I used to hold the Tekken 5 Time Attack record on (for at least two years, don't know if anyone beat me, or if they even still have the machine anymore since I haven't been back there since 2010). I used laminated cardstock printed at Staples for the artwork, and have it held down with double sided scotch tape. The tape also helped when one of the button plugs came off the wire when I accidentally pulled a tad too hard on one of em. I damn near had a heart attack at that. But yeah, what y'all think? I've got detail shots in the attachments if anyone's interested.

I'm really curious how the hell the Hakumen could see to walk. Actually, I wonder that about all Hakumen cosplayers really. A+ work from all of you though, in seriousness.

Honestly, I've had a lot of doubts about Makoto this week, after experimenting with Bullet and using Noel more, and seeing just how weak she really is in comparison to them, but I'm sticking with her, no matter what. Put too much time and effort into her to drop her now. No matter how much she's nerfed, she'll always be #BESTSQUIRREL to me.

I'm a little surprised they spoiled that but didn't mention anything about Adachi. Also, if true, it'll be interesting to see how they actually make Rise fight. Maybe she'll be a Persona-less character?
