  1. People can vote more than once, I believe.
  2. Anji back due to story? I mean, we all know that Dizzy was in the story and playab- oh wait no she wasn't. This question cannot be answered by logic unless we know Arc's/Team RED's whole intentions.
  3. 1+2: Black beat is a combo that shouldn't be. That is to say, it was possible to tech out of it. 3: No(t that I know of?) 4: Check the dustloop wiki and player footage for viable options. 5: RCs are the unique mechanic of Guilty Gear, and are absolutely useful, or necessary to use. Again check player footage or the AC+R threads for character specific combos. TLDR: Check out videos, the wiki, and also the AC+R sub-forum.
  4. My bets are on Johnny and Jam.
  5. Guitarist: Shotaro Ohata - 1998 (GG1) ~ 2000 (GGX) - I personally liked his phrasing and attack above the other guitar players. If the recording set up for GG1 was better (and some other factors), I would bet big money on the entire GG1 soundtrack being recognised as phenomenal. Also we all remember Still in the Dark, yes? Honestly I never found guitar tone to be just right in any of the games soundtracks, so I judged this purely on my opinion of their playing.Bassist: It's hard to judge a bass player in a rock/metal context. In most of the games they just play a line of notes. We all know which ones played the cool bass lines, but that's a point of composition. However I was a big fan of Potemkin, Slayer and Chipp's theme in GGXX... Keyboard: Who played keys on GG2:O? That person seems cool. Drums: Kaichi Kurose - 2007 (GG2Ov) - Not much to say. This guy has the most poppin' playing on the skins. No idea how much of that was in the mix or the studio set up, but the most open and live feeling were in the beats he hit.
  6. The HRAP4 Hayabusa/Kuro is the only thing in stock where I live, and would be my first exposure to a high end fight stick (Only had a Mad Catz SE before), would it be worth my time and investment to get a hold of this thing and learn to use it? I really don't like playing on a DS4 but I'm finally getting back into playing GG with Xrd out now... I've had very little prior experience with Sanwa and Seimetsu parts (arcades and other peoples' sticks), so I figured trying this stick wouldn't give me a knee jerk reaction against the feel of the parts.
  7. Hey guys, is digital pre-order possible on the US PSN now? I'm unable to see it on the website. I thought it began at the 20th. Perhaps that was just the JP version.
  8. Oh yeah, forgot to link those, thanks^ Regarding this, Amazon.com won't deliver to me.
  9. Hi friends, would you guys know if it's okay to import from the states to the UK? I gathered that there isn't a region lock (I think) and now that the LE is up on amazon I'm wondering if there is no point to waiting for an EU announcement.
  10. Steam workshop integration into modern (and some older) PC games allows for modifications to be distinct from online play, actually. That is a somewhat irrelevant argument. Cheaters will cheat with or without mod support. Although I personally don't care whether or not mods are supported in a potential PC Xrd release, I'm not a fan of the tone some people's ill-formed opinions regarding mods. Edit: Is there any confirmation of the Ustream link for Arc Revo? I don't think I can remember my nico details
  11. Mods are great, you casuals. :P I appreciate the mention of Arc putting some old titles on Steam to test the waters but they probably won't do too hot in sales because of the fact that they are old. I got BBCT on release for PC, had fun with cross platform against friends via GFWL/XBL, but knowing that the newer additions to the series were out on console sort of made it less fun because I knew I was missing out. I wouldn't mind Xrd coming to PC a little later but if it's over a year then... Well, it's the only reason that I'm going to be getting a PS4 this winter. I can only hope that it doesn't die as quickly as my PS3 did. The plus side is that there is a homogeneous experience that Team Red has designed for all players Xrd, performance-wise and experience-wise, and that is to be respected from a game that has its roots in the arcade.
  12. I'd actually love to see the return of Boost or factory mode implemented somehow. The latter probably wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the priority list but it would be cool. I think that colours will eventually be changeable on the fly, or a more comprehensive colour set will be released... It seems like something that wouldn't be too much work....
  13. Ignoring the "interesting difference of opinions" and so on in the thread, I just wanna say this game is giving me chills down my spine sending me straight back to 1998. While the current Xrd system set isn't what everyone thinks is "perfect", I think it's a great starting point for the beginning of a new series. We all saw the progression of XX to AC+R; Xrd is going to be great, its successors will be awesome and the scene will thrive with all the new attention and competitors! (the fact that baby trolls are trying to create dissent is 100% proof of it's future success)
  14. I'd probably import if it wasn't out in the UK at the same time as the States. I'd have to fix my PS3 first though. I hope it arrives in a close time frame across all regions to be honest. This may be the first GG that I can have easy access to in years.
  15. I was actually thinking about something like this myself earlier today. I feel as though once home release happens, they can really get diverse with the types of post-launch content they can provide. Story arcs (e,g, from the Missing Link until AC+R), related skins/move-sets (Order Sol, either visually or skill set, perhaps when he's just "taken" Fuuenken from the Order, or Ky when a recruit etc.) ...I'd pay. Just saying. Developing Xrd on the Unreal Engine will really open windows for what Team Red can do with the game, and I hope when the time comes, they go to town on the game.
