A wild character appears. Host uses kick player. It's super effective!
-
I actually like players who only know 1 or 2 combos. They send the best hatemail when you style on them...
-
But Valk is easymode and lag doesn't matter to him!
-
At least you guys don't get kicked before any match even starts. Maybe I should play Tsubaki or something...
-
Reacting to OHs takes experience, although some match ups will make you shake your head...

I despise ranked matches. Skill over points

No. No character should have a get out of jail free card (outside of burst) that can't be safe jumped. If that was the case, people could do whatever they wanted on wake up. USF4 I'm looking at you.....
-
True, however if someone is being THAT predictable on wake up, that's a free bait and punish. Mak doesn't possess great oki as is. And Haku is the one character in the game where respect on his wake up is a given. Defense is his specialty.
-
This game isn't that difficult at all. It just takes practice
-
Capcom games and even Guilty allow you to get away with wake up throw at lower levels because opponents don't have their oki game solid. Hell in Guilty wake up throw is a powerful tool because of how good it is. Also, most players mash on wake up out of panic. Watching someone get dismembered on Youtube for getting mixed up makes them nervous. I'm still trying to train one of my friends who recently picked BB up (he plays Ragna, go figure) that the best option on wake up is neutral tech and block.

Beautiful But Valkenhayn simply NEEDS some kind of invincible reversal!.....yeah I can't even type that with a straight face
-
Not only that, but most of the time it's better to have oki as opposed to more damage. In Extend Valk could end pretty much every combo in a DD. Problem was, it killed his momentum and allowed opponents to escape.

Point taken. I still feel Hazama getting 4k for a meterless 5A is a bit much though.... There's actually a bunch who could use an overhaul, tiers be damned, although I know where you're coming from.

Litchi is probably the one character I despise, and only because she has the best drive in the game. Period. 5D/2D means she has an almost free way in, depending on how good your approach is, and she can reset pressure (again) almost for free as well. She does however have a steep learning curve and without staff is completely helpless. Wolverine wishes he had Tao mobility. IMO, she has the 2nd best neutral in the game, because she goes anywhere she wants for free. She also seems to be unchaseable, and yes I made that word up. Chasing Tao is a very bad idea because you WILL be counter hit for grown man damage (this may have changed in CP, I'm not sure as my training partner does not have PS3). Her learning curve is easy for some, but complex for others, depends on your playstyle.

5A whiff into throw....oldest trick in the book Airk, on 09 May 2014 - 06:27 AM, said: Hazama 5A da gawd......

I don't believe he dislikes them, he was stating the facts

People raging about Tsubaki or Relius are ridiculous. Even with his buffs, Relius still has difficulty with zoners and his C normals are still bad. Tsubaki.....*sigh* they nerfed 5B (why) among other things and to make matters worse, she still has the damn hat. Even Noel lost hers. I'm convinced there is in fact a conspiracy against redheads

This match up seems more or less the same to me. Aside from his base damage being up, ours being down, and having to keep a closer eye on wolf meter. Overall this and the Terumi match up seem pretty easy to me, although I'll admit my opponents aren't always the greatest.....

Looks like ice car to me (Lord knows I've seen it enough)

There is probably nothing more amusing than watching a Led Ley go through Yukikaze. It never gets old.

There are so many things wrong with this post that it doesn't justify the time to reply

This is why I just get a knockdown and 50/50 vortex them to death, and receive hatemail and about how my character is easymode with no weaknesses and I'm like "dafuq?"

Welcome! Out of all the choices you have there, the ones who are the most different and challenging to learn (according to your regular character types) are Litchi, Bang and Tao. Nu, Makoto, and Ragna are all great and all, but they're more simple to use. (Makoto is perhaps the exception, as you have to have a REALLY good grip on the neutral game, but at least with Litchi you have the reward as well as the difficulty). Bang, Tao and Litchi control space very well, have great neutral (Litchi's staff da gawd) and have really strong mix up. The only stand out is Tao, who unlike the other two has zero defense outside of Hexaedge, but with her mobility this shouldn't be much of a problem. Experiment around. I only gave my opinion on 3 of your characters because they fit the criteria you were looking for, but don't be shy about trying others. Try them all and see who fits your style....

I'm not going to beat the "wtf Valk has limited mobility" dead horse (even if I did laugh my head off), but I will state that if you're playing Valks who just run in with 6D, it's time to upgrade training partners. That being said, I'd advise all Terumis (and this should be a Golden Rule for the entire cast) STAY OUT OF THE CORNER. You WILL be instantly vortexed by any Valk with half a brain if you have no meter. That being said, be very careful about mashing while in mix up pressure. 5A might sound tempting, but all it takes is one wrong guess and you're in the corner. I wish I could provide offensive input but I don't play Terumi, sorry....
-
Well at least that explains his lack of mobility....
