You've got a good start if you're doing those things. One that you should add to your repertoire is meaty 5K. If you find they start blitzing or otherwise wising up to your oki options, you can put a j.D on em, and that's fine as oki on it's own, and if you YRC it you can do other stuff like overheads and whatnot. Also, try comboing into 2D > Split Ciel (236D), so you can put a CSE through a grinder, and get the really good fireball oki. you can get a good mixup or two in there, and even more if you YRC it.

Hello, GG player, just picking up CPE and kinda leaning toward Makoto. Is there any trick to the drive bar, or is it just memorization and muscle memory? I've got the first combo on the thread down, but the second one (2D (2) -> 236A~D etc) is giving me some trouble, especially the hits after the fireball.

go to the Elphelt forums and read what is annoying for them. There are a couple of really lengthy posts that are really good information. Stuff like: If you see them pull a grenade around mid distance, throw out Ride the Lightning, as if she has to block, the grenade will blow up on her and you get damage/knockdown, and if she opts to throw it she'll probably get hit. I'm not sure what you are talking about. Trial 15 is S > 236HS > HS(repeatedly). so it is not a dp, it is a quarter circle. And you do mash, but you mash HS not P. do you have your buttons set right/ are you pressing the right buttons? As for reversal timing, it's a little more strict than SF4. try messing with the timing in training room (set the dummy to just run up 2D). my trouble with reversal was doing it too early. try inputting as soon as you see Sin getting up.

you misunderstood the guy. he was shittalking the on disc colors. As the link he posted said, only the last set of colors are DLC. implying somehow that colors 7-12 aren't.

His P buttons are good for poking out of pressure, if you don't have meter/ don't want to risk a DP. Wait til they jump for an overhead and 6P, or if you see a hole poke em with a 5P.

Play Sol's story mode. After the fight she states that the outcome of the fight did not matter and stuff like that. So I would bargain that she IS bored.
