  1. Does anyone know the button layout options in the arcade? I tried to research this but cannot find it anywhere. I played P4U2 in JPN arcade once a while back but I don't remember what the button layout options were. Because of BB and GG I have a hard time with the square shape ABCD layout of Persona but I don't want to alter it and make it more like BB if its not an option in the arcade. Does anyone know or have an image of the layout options?

  4. Feel free to add if you have questions as well but as for me...I have a question. Titanomachia seems to give you a very short time window to register the actions (up to 4 it seems). How do you get an ability that requires charge input queued up with such short time? I'm pretty sure I've seen it done but how is this possible? Thank you for your consideration.

Like you wouldn't believe. TY so much. PS: just my opinion but never assume anything is too basic. Some of us really need that info!
  6. Thank you thats a perfect explanation. I didn't know hitting them built burst, meter I can assume but I was under the impression that burst only builds over time (I think Blazblue is that way) and had nothing to do with taking damage.
  7. Thanks for the explanation. I will give it a try. I just didn't understand why you would ever choose not to relaunch them if you could. Its just more damage isn't it? and I don't see any inefficient resource usage since it doesn't use meter or anything like that.
  8. New question of similar nature if someone doesn't mind. I often see someone like nakamura end the BnB typically JH then relaunch with 2H and do it again. Id like to understand when/why you do this as opposed to letting them land in knockdown state and setting up Oki. Is it based on the starter? One would think that if you CAN you would always relaunch and do the BnB a second time in one long combo. So I guess what I'm asking is, do you only not relaunch and re-BnB if due to the starter the combo will drop? is it a hitstun deterioration thing?

  10. Thank you so much this is exactly the kind of explanation I was hoping for. I'm assuming the dash 2S is a backdash? since roll puts you in their face. if TKBM/Haircar does connect what is an ideal confirm? [c.S] > 2HS > BnB > J.HS followup?

  12. LK would you be willing to comment on the Chroming rose Oki that you did in the corner. I saw you do it at Evo this year. From what I saw it was: @corner Chrome Rose > jump > turbo fall (to make flowers) > back dash > HS tandem top > ??? Then I can't tell cuz flowers are blowing up and it gets all crazy lol.
  13. Yeah thats why I was hoping to know what I'm seeing. after 236H backdash I'm not sure what I'm seeing anymore. I was hoping someone could tell. Also what is a good followup if they the flowers hit. Do you just C.S > 2H > standard air confirm?
  14. This only happens if you do it next to the opponent right? Or are they saying if at any point you are near an opponent and it doesn't hit it will end? Is it safe to assume that if the opponent is way up in the air and you go under them that you will still ride the hair car all the way to the corner?
  15. From my understanding if you red RC the HS tandem top would follow you? Now it stays put (like it should). Feel free to correct me someone.

Was wondering if anyone could comment on a Chroming Rose Oki, Ive seen nakamura and lord knight both do something similar which appears to be: (in the corner) Chroming Rose > Jump > Turbo Fall into corner to make flowers > backdash > tandem top (HS) > ??? Then no matter how many times I rewatch I can't tell whats going on in the chaos. Does anyone else know what goes down? I figure this is a good place to ask because this is an Oki thread. Thanks.

You can do what Sky said or there is one where you can get 2 spiders in, guaranteed full curse. throw > 22b (like skye said as early as possible) > 5a (before they land) > 5b > (spider hits) > ja > j6a > JCja > JCjc > j2a > dive cancel > 6d > j22b The only other full curse i can think of is a non throw but the execution is kindof brutal, its off a 6a starter. Would look like this: 6a > 5d > iad > ja (not j4a) > j4b > land > 6b > j9d > land > j9c > JCja > JCja > JCjb > JCjc > j2b/a > dive cancel > 6d > j22b
  18. Thank you delaying a bit is helping but it seems in the corner now hes not floating high enough -____- so the lobel is hitting him way too early. What are you guys doing on ragna players if after 5cc? lets say you get the overhead ja jb 5cc in the corner, what are you guys doing after that? for me, 5b 6a 236a is not working.

  21. Does anyone have some vs Ragna or vs Noel videos? Im having trouble dealing with them. I don't see any noels and I was only able to view one vs Ragna video the others seem to just link back to this thread.
  22. I was having some trouble the other day against a ragna player, after a typical 5b 5cd 6c 6a 4b 5b 6a 236a the lobel either misses because he is too high or the lobel hits way too early. I'm sure the physics of Ragna are just different than some of the other chars I land this more consistently on...Is there another route I should be going against ragna for higher success rate? Its been pretty low for me lately against him because this keeps happening.
  23. Sigh...so its not just 6a counter hit anymore also our fatal requires a wind stock now...Thank you. For now I'm gonna try the frog 3c route until I am comfortable with it. after frog 3c is it pretty standard from there? dash 5b 6a 236a 3c iris 6a 4b 5cc?
  24. Maybe I missed the memo but I'm having trouble with fatal counter follow up. Does the classic: ex: 5c [fatal] > frog > chair > 5b > 6a > BnB followup not work anymore? I just tried it in practice mode for a while and its not working.
  25. Youre right I forgot to consider that 4b was the starter, can't do jc hold jc cuz you stabilize that with 6a 4b which has smp...it would drop immediately. I will have to work on that then. Good reminder about the lightning poles! Also thanks these all seem like solid routes I will have to try them out.
