Here's a nice combo I made in training mode recently: FC 2C xx 236B xx j.2C OMB j.2C 2A 2C dl2B dl5C dl2A 2C dl5C xx 236C : 6375 damage, ends in corner with confusion. xx 236 into 214214D, 5D for corner fun :D Works from midscreen and in the corner. Alternatively, you can replace xx 236C with AAA xx 236B xx 236236D for 7651, but I prefer 236C ender unless I really need to end a dude. Edit: since the AoA secion in the OP is a little lacking, I made up this too. I can't help but feel it's not very optimal though... AoA~D 2B 2C 5C 2A 2C 5C AAA xx 236B~A 236236C - 4264 damage

*facepalm* Capcom already said theres going to only be 4 dlc characters, 2 capcom and 2 marvel. 1 capcom dlc character has already been confirmed (Jill) unless frank west or strider suddenly becomes marvel property they will not both be in the game. Herp.

No, having a redundant character would be silly because it would be a total slot waster where there could be a more innovative character. 2 shotos is MORE than enough for this game because they at least serve 2 different roles. What the hell would Ken bring to the table that Akuma and Ryu can't? Please put some thought into posting before being smug and pretentious. :/

Oh man, Arthur's level 3 X Factor + Gold Armor + Scatter Crossbow is the silliest thing if the opponent has no teleports (or is down to their last character) thing does like 10% chip damage, 30% life on hit, and gives you like 25% meter on block and is horribly spammable. Absurd.

So does anyone know the rules behind X-Factor/KFCs? It seems REALLY good but on the other hand I've only seen it once a match, so it seems like it won't really be a game breaker

Don't worry about the story, it will never get finished because Daisuke averages like 1 line of dialogue per decade. Even Overture, which was supposed to be a continuation of the story, divulges almost no new information and recaps all the stuff thats been recapped in every story (War of the gears, JUSTCIE OMGZ, etc) If you're dead set on it though, #Reload and XX have the same story, so just get Reload. IMO if you want to save money just get AC+ for gameplay and Isuka because its hilarious.

Yes, I'm aware you can hit the mirrors to break them Even despite this, there are very few characters who can deal with them without getting nailed by seagull and being reset into either a meaty mirror or EX mirror. I forgot to say Lucifer also has ways around it, but they're risky and baitable, from what I've observed. And then, of course, when they do get in, you can just guardtouch out and push them away. :p I'll see if I can start posting matchvids

Lol, you guys bother comboing with Shannon? I just zone all day and go zzzz. Mirrors are seriously insanely good except against like Ronove and surprise battler. Against a lot of characters in the game, you can fullscreen lockdown with it because they just have no way through it without blowing a charging touch. And if they get in just throw out seagull for free and put up more mirrors while they tech, or blockstring into either Touch or setting up 236A. I've yet to run into ANY problems with this strategy except aginst Virgilia, Battler, and Ronove. Concerning Ronove (as a character), while its true you CAN be baited, its still a very reliable tool, you just have to really watch for when you can get it and not mash it out when you start blocking (which has gotten me murdered many times) EX Alpha Counter is ass and not worth it though. Probably same for EX Counter except maybe very niche situations or some character magically is discovered to have an ambiguous high/low mixup. EX Shield and EX Roses are both EXCELLENT tools, though. They persist forever, let you rush down, and prevent the opponent from trying to poke out at you because you'll just score CH and get to setup a free A Shield. His pokes are pretty middling. I would say any of them are bad (though c.5C is infuriating in certain instances due to its small cancel window and shitty horizontal hitbox making you -bazillion on whiff mid blockstring) I'd say his big weakness is his total lack of mixups in any way since his throw range is terrible. His AA and Air To Ground game is pretty ok though. j.B can cross up and j.C has a good hitbox on it. Virgilia seems harsh for him, but theres always Charging Touch, and perhaps his 22X? !!!!!!!!!!!!!Its wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too early to tell!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but I'd tentatively say he's going to be a solid mid tier character.

Ronove is mad good lol. Only character who seems bad is Battler, and Beatrice seems a little underwhelming. Ronove is hella good, pretty much impossible to rush down unless you're gdlk at frametraps.

So we recently got this game. Holy shit, Shannon/Ronove = team ultra troll throw mirrors/seagulls all day, if they get in, Guard Touch to Ronove all day errday. I love this game, its absolutely bananas.

I will main Mei Fang's 214C in AH3 like I did in AH1. Why don't you guys play Battle Fantasia instead, it's already out! >:| Or get in on League of Legends, that game is hype

Loving this thread! We recently got into the game in New England, and I have a quick Shin question: I was trying to do 2B c5C BC -> BnB,and while I got it to work, I found that 2B f5C BC would connect more easily. Is there any particular downside to using f5C instead of c5C?
